Yes I read the explanation.  Its been over a month though I think since I've had a score of 28.  Strange how can you get a score of 100 in 100 days then if it goes only by 14 every 2 weeks?  The most you could get I. 100 days then is 84?

For the last month I have had a steady score of 28.  I post daily and am active on forum.   It says if I post once a day for 100 days I would have a score of 100.  Why is my score not improving?

Will check it thank you.  So there is no need to worry, the small chain would die?  The devs keep making new versions so no one has split.

these are 1 BTC actual private keys are stored on them?  How do you see the private keys?  It comes with a certificate?  How do we know the coin is not spent?  You are reputable and make a guarantee?

Has nothing to do with "agree to disagree" when joeyjojosmh is wrong...! You'll be hard-pressed to get one up on notfuzzy, and you didnt, and the ignore button is your prize! Nice job, noob...  Roll Eyes

guess you never read the antbleed disclosures either.  Try setting your etc/hosts file to the test ip to see if it gets shutoff.  Try taking an S9 that has not had anything done to it from April 2017 and see if it does it.  You would be suprised.

Wow thank you for this reply.  Very well thought out.  My humble gratitude for the explanations.  From my understanding of the white paper the mining of the coin is the actual reverse decryption of the elliptical curve cryptographic values until a key is found.  When the first bitcoin was created it was done from the original genesis block and was signed and this transaction was made.  So the processing of the transactions is not "mining" as it were.  It is simply a transfer, signing a transaction and generating new keys, there is no reverse crunching of numbers on the SHA-256 EC algorithm.

You have probobly been the most informed person on the actual IDEA and substance of what a bitcoin is as I have ever found.  Most coders and dev's really dont even know what it is.  They can understand the code but what it is doing is not clear.

I still think that the dev's could fix the transaction wait problem as the value of bitcoin becomes exponential.   I am not too sure on the split of the dev's ideas which you are talking about , BU and BC.  BC is to me the only bitcoin.  bitcoin.org.  This forum is apart of that.  For the codebase to split or fork and the fork to live and be supported would be disasterous for bitcoin.  With a previous fork the price fell to nothing.

https://ca.investing.com/news/stock-market-news/bank-of-canada-says-won't-use-blockchain-for-interbank-payment-system-126381
By Solarina Ho

TORONTO, May 25 (Reuters) - The Bank of Canada said on Thursday that its experiment with blockchain, or distributed ledger technology, showed it is currently not compatible with operating the country's centralized interbank payment systems.

The Bank's conclusion, published in a column in The Globe and Mail newspaper, comes after a year-long experiment in partnership with Payments Canada, which is responsible for the country's clearing and settlement infrastructure, and Canada's largest banks.

"The bottom line is that a stand-alone DLT wholesale system is unlikely to match the efficiency and net benefits of a centralized system," wrote Carolyn Wilkins, senior deputy governor of the Bank of Canada, and Gerry Gaetz, Payments Canada president.

"At its heart, there exists a fundamental inconsistency or tension between a centralized wholesale interbank payment system, as we have now, and the decentralization inherent in DLT."

Payments Canada clears a daily average of more than C$175 billion ($130.42 billion) through the wholesale interbank payment system, which is overseen by the Bank of Canada.

Blockchain, the technology that underpins digital currencies such as bitcoin, is a distributed record of data or transactions maintained by a network of computers without the need for approval from a central authority.

this isnt the end...its just one bank saying they wont use blockchain for time being...
again research and decide your next move carefully guys...
hopefully some good news will come aswell

This is huge.  They do a 1/4 Trillion dollars of money PER DAY.   This is the BANK OF CANADA.  This is basically a country trying the technology and saying NO.  NOT GOOD.  SELL SELL SELL SELL

lets just agree to disagree.  if you read the antbleed.com you could easily test any S9 by putting the etc/hosts file (without changing any settings) to their server to see what it can do.

Anyways, please answer this Q for the miner if you are running it and have gotten some stats on it throughout time at current difficulty, per S9.

so How much bitcoin per day do you make running one of these 24/7? at current difficulty and next soonest difficulty.
