confirmTX scam... stop posting his url site!

Now I still have the paper wallet with the private key, and as far as I know I just need to rebroadcast the tx with a higher fee and it should get picked up and the other rejected.  But I can't find a client that will allow me to do this as it shows the funds are currently spent.
have you checked/tried coinb.in? javascript web tool for composing, signing and broadcasting tx
you can download the source from github and run it offline,
but you still need to be online when retrieving utxo inputs and brodcasting the tx Wink

I actually did come across that site in my searches, but it tells me the input or output is invalid, probably because it shows as already sent on the blockchain.

Need help resending a TX with appropriate fee
by

Good day all, is there anyone that can give me a hand rebroadcasting a tx that is currently stuck?

I sent it from a cold paper wallet that I had printed off sometime ago and used Mycelium's cold storage spend option on my android device.  We weren't in a big hurry for it to clear so we used the recommended "economy" fee.  Well this was right before there was an explosion in transactions and now the fee I used is showing that it will take "inf" (which I think means infinity) on the bitcoinfees website.

Now I still have the paper wallet with the private key, and as far as I know I just need to rebroadcast the tx with a higher fee and it should get picked up and the other rejected.  But I can't find a client that will allow me to do this as it shows the funds are currently spent.

Can anyone give me a hand? Whats the best way to get this done?  I found a bitcoin tx booster site, but they want like 60$US to do it, which is around 3 to 5  times what the tx fee should cost for me to send it and have it mined in a day or less, so I don't really want to pay for that service which seems to be charging way more than should be.  That and I'm not entirely sure its legit either.

Thank you.

So if waiting for it to drop off the network may not work as someone else may keep rebroadcasting the TX, what can I do to get this TX through?  I have heard I could possibly rebroadcast it with a higher fee, but my wallets won't let me because it considers the funds spent already.

How to stop rebroadcast/ and send new tx with higher fee.

Hello all, I did a cold spend from a paper wallet to my friend (using Mycelium) and I used a fee that apparently is to small to ever get cleared.

I have read that the tx will get dumped out eventually from the mempool and then I can send with a higher fee, but I think mycelium keeps rebroadcasting it when it does.  I may be wrong about this, if so then please let me know what I can do to resend this TX so he will actually receive it.

On a side note I saw the option for "child pays for parent" but when trying to use it, it gives me a "unable to build tx" error.  Maybe its because there are no funds left on that paper wallet to increase the fee with?  I'm not sure if that CPFP tries to rebuild the tx for the same amount plus a higher fee or if the whole tx is suppose to be editable or what.

Anyway, any help would be great, I've been scouring the web with not much for answers.

Thank you

Re: Step by Step How to Claim Bitcoin Cash Balance and Exchange into Bitcoins

I swept my BCC to the Electron Cash wallet, but when I go to send it to the exchange it asks for a password, which I never set up.  I tried 0000 and 1234 as defaults as well as leaving it blank, but nothing works.  What gives, I can't even export the private keys without this password I never set up??

Re: [ANN] bitaddress.org Safe JavaScript Bitcoin address/private key

This address generator is great.  I used it to print off Bitcoin wallets.  I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to print of Litecoin wallets though?

I have no problem using lite address.org, but when I download the zip file, it just gives me Bitaddress that is used for Bitcoin, not Litecoin.

Is there a link somewhere I can download the litecoin address generator so that I can generate offline?

Thanks

When you get a new Trezor and you set it up and it gives you the the 24 word string for back up, how is that string generated?  How do you know that it is random and where does that randomness come from?

Re: Best place to trade alts for BTC no verification required

Looking for a suggestion on the best exchange where I can load some BTC and trade it for some alts, particularly litecoin. I'm looking for one that I can just sign up, send BTC trade and withdraw all with out verification.  Thanks

I think there's no exchanger that you don't need to verify. If there's a exchangers like that your money or bitcoin will not become safe. Why you don't want verification? It secures our money or bitcoin in our account so why?

Don't listen to this guy.. he uses the word "Exchanger" like a fucking noob  Roll Eyes

IT'S *EXCHANGE* noobs !

oh and https://btc-e.com/

See why i am the smart one ? (none of these guys suggested the OBVIOUS answer)

From what I've read, btc-e randomly rips off its customers by block withdraw requests for bogus reasons.  Doesn't sound like my cup of tea.

Obviously because I work for ISIS but our usual arms dealer stopped taking BTC and moved to LTC because it just implemented Segwit.  So now we have all these worthless BTC we are trying to change over, but you know we aren't big on ID verifications so... Roll Eyes Grin Tongue

All joking aside, thanks everyone for the great suggestions.  I'll be checking out some of those exchanges.  Its hard to tell which ones need what verification for what options sometimes until you go to withdraw and they're like "we'll process that right away, as soon as you send us thirty documents verifying who you are".  So I really appreciate the info.

I should specify I have no problem with email verification.  I just don't want to be waiting for any other type of verification.  I won't be looking to do anything with Fiat, it will just be crypto in and out.
