I noticed no new coins in 2018 altogether. Is this pool still alive?
Maybe try reading back the last few pages of the thread? I'm pretty sure if the pool was dead someone would have mentioned it. You might also learn some interesting things about mining.
This felt salty but funny at the same time. Deserved I guess, not the lucky moment for certain statements.

This block is getting ridicolous. It serms that a few people just gave up. The total hash rate has dropped a bit.

Re: Bitminter bitcoin mining pool - Pays TxFees, Merged Mining, Fair PPLNS rewards
Which is the real advantage of setting the minimum difficulty? Will it result in a lower rejected proof of works? Will it lower also the accepted proofs of works because of their higher difficulty? That's a thing that I never worried about but I'm wondering if should I be setting something to have better performance in some ways. Thanks in advance to anyone that will explain me that.
It has no effect on performance, only the feedback you receive from the pool e.g. your hash rate.
I see, thanks for the info Mikestang.

Note that this is a self-moderated thread. Treat others with respect and do not post lies, scams, spam or misinformation.
scam o not
I don't understand if you're asking if this thread or the bitminter pool is a scam. But if you look at the date of the post you quoted, you can be sure that none of the 2 things is a scam at all.

Im saying that based on the fact that Im a developer. Apart from that I know that it requires an amount of time to be done and that part of code wont develop itself. Ill always be grateful to Bitminters Developer & staff for their work. It wasnt my aim to look like a boss or something.

What about giving to users an option to switch between gh and th? It shouldnt be that hard to develop. I guess that many users wont need to see gh values, but it could be nice to the other few to have that option.

I'm ready. I brought two more S9's over to BitMinter to try and speed it up. Plus anytime it starts looking like it might be a super long block, I try to start ramping up some extra hash power.
That's also my intention with other 2 S9 that I'll receive in March. I just hope they will able to repay themselves because of the difficulty that is increasing so badly.
