I had a RX 470 rig that was unstable on 1.6.2 (stable on 1.5). This rig is now stable on 1.7 (overnight) in default pci-mode (2). I did not check other modes. Overall speed is improved in 1.7 vs 1.5, so I am happy. The rig uses about 50-70W more, though, on Ubuntu Linux 16.04 (about 6-7%) with speed increase of 6-7% as well (vs 1.5), so make sure you have power reserves if you switch. Thanks for an update, Optiminer.
Confirm! For me 1.6.* versions was awful but 1.7 work gr8 and very stable. Profit is little better than Claymore too.
for old R9 290 cards still work better than Claymore 11.1. I work with 1.5 version because for version 1.6.0 and 1.6.1 windows 8.1 and 10 freeze and cant restart. Last version miner work with more sol but often freeze is not offer to change to 1.6.x

Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA]
keep on getting these messages (look below" on my single gpu rig.
keeps disconnecting & reconnecting too.
all other rigs are ok.
small improvements at nano now but just the message below is annoying & sometimes it shows at poolside & sometimes it's not there.
"Error Deleting a Pending response message id:2 method:miner-authorize"
"Error Deleting a Pending response message id:4 method:miner-authorize"
I am getting the same error as well
The same with me with different id:2,3,4,5 .. 7 every time when restart miner. Often connection reset. Very unstable connection for my cards models r9 290, and sapphire trix 390. WIN 10 and WIN 8.1 tested. eu1 and asia1 the same problem .... eu2 cant connect nanopool miner need revision or pool problems ... i dont know
I'm getting an "argument index out of range" error with v1.4 on a 290. Works fine on 1.3.2. Tried changing intensity values, taking out "experimental-kernel" but no luck. Anyone else?
This is my bat file: optiminer.exe -s equihash.usa.nicehash.com:3357 -u someuser -p z -d 2 -i 6 --experimental-kernel
Try -i 5
-i 5 ; -i 4 ; w/o -i the same error and 0 S/s v 1.3 ... work great and I back to 1.3.2 - its still better than last Claymore 11.1

Great job. Stable for win 8.1 and win10 Better than new Claymore v.10 and v9.3
for stock cards: R9 290 ~300 sol Sapphire Trix ~350 sol
if you find way to control or just show temperature will be amazing.
