Halong Mining sold 600 units of miners for SiaCoin. They are still mining now with them on siamining.com.The shipping will be from 24.03-30.03.In one week you will mine 1 usd for day with A3. All the ASIC miners sellers are using them for mining before shipping destroying the profitabillity and make it impossible to ROI that's why they have months in delivering after paying them. They make profit once on the seller price and once from mining with them before shipping to you(almost a month if you are lucky). So stupids are not the one who sell them but the one who buys them.I'm one of them:)
Since Halong is already mining with them, doesn't that mean that the difficulty is already factored in? why would earnings go down further when they are delivered?
The network hashrate keeps increasing. The diff is changing/increasing accordingly so that's why the earnings are going down..
He's asking why diff should go up further if all produced Halong miners are online. IMHO it will not increase parabolically
So I just got an email from Halong Mining and for some reason I do not feel good about it
its going for USD 10,499
What do you think?

DragonMint B29 Blake256 Miner (March) is now back in stock at Halong Mining
Hi There,
DragonMint B29 Blake256 Miner (March) is now back in stock at Halong Mining. You have been sent this email because your email address was registered on a waitlist for this product.
You have now been removed from the waitlist for this product.
There's two different Blake256 miners they offer, the cheaper $5000 one is faster in terms of hashrate but uses more power and is less efficient, whilst the more expensive model at $10K hashes at just 2THs but is more efficient. At current rates the cheaper one makes more, but don't count on anything. This is a D3/A3 situation ready to happen.
What? B29 and B52 are different algorithms, Blake256 and Blake2b, for different coins, Decred and Sia
Looks like 815GH/s with Blake(2b) using 1275W. Starting at $2375/each. Depending on the calculator, having 1 right now would earn between $200 and $475 per day. Obviously, those numbers can change a lot before you actually get one in-hand.
"We are proud and happy to announce that we are launching the Antminer A3, a new Antminer model to mine cryptocurrencies using the hashing algorithm Blake(2b). The actual price and option to buy will be available here https://[Suspicious link removed]/12WLPp after 2:30PM (17 Jan, GMT+8)."
fluctuations due to connected and then disconnected miners by Bitmain... same was in Jan... another thing - there is a big decline in hashrate on 20:00 GMT: 11.4 > 8.7 Ph and then back to 11.6.... second hashboard on my miner went xxx at this time, but recovered soon... what was that i wonder?
today we got 2 falls of hashrate.. 1) Sia developers are testing soft fork 2) there is a bug in current algo
If someone could figure out how to reprogram the FPGA's in the Baikal Giant B to mine other algorithms, this would be huge. To be fair, the person could sell their firmware for a good price to other Giant-B owners. This device is a monster in disguise for an expert FPGA programmer.
if he will find out/reprogram firmware - why he should sell it? he'd buy more baikals and mine himself on new algos... lol
anyone noticed the fluctuation on Sia stats graph? what's goin on?

According to SiaMining Stat, the difficulty recently has dropped from 12m TH to 7m+ TH. Anyone knew why it dropped so fast? One possible reason I could think of is be many A3 started to break down?
diff is being corrected after hardfork on 139000 block... so it will go down till reaching 10m block time

Re: [DYOR] Do Your Own Research [x11][PoW/PoS][Bounties][Random Block Rewards!]
So I have a board at 75 degrees running 30% underclocked in a subzero air environment. I am desperately seeking firmware updates!
Why are you underclocking even though you're running in a sub-zero environment? Squeeze the max out of your A3 now before difficulty sky rockets.
Because running it underclocked is better than running it at 0? Chip temps on one board exceeded 100 degrees and the pcb was around 82 degrees. Auto shutoff occurred. As much as I would like to run it into the ground, it has to actually function. Most likely it is heatsinks not attached properly or something with airflow, as it seems board 3 is 15 degrees hotter than the other 2.
dear Baikal x10 owners - can you please tell me what guaranteed amount per day you earn?
Thinking of buying one.
Thank you,

right, buying not tested in real environment device, usable only for 1 even not top20 coin - is at our own risk... So we should blaim only ourselves... anyway - bad experience is also experience...
