It happened that I have a large sum of money (about 50k$) which I am planning to invest into a promising cryptocurrency. I have time to wait, I just need its cost to grow at a good rate. I was thinking about investing into Emercoin, as I have studied them and found that its cost has grown substantially since its launch and there is a number of projects that they are working on, that would increase the price further.
Could you give me your opinion if it is worth it and am I at risk to lose my money?

In my opinion you should learn as much as is reasonable before investing in any crypto project. Crypto values are very volatile, so you should never invest more than you can afford to lose. Emercoin does have a team and community dedicated to the future of the project with original ideas , but it's no guarantee of success either. As Emercoin is an open source project, the best way to support any investment in Emercoin would be to add value to the project by contributing ideas, services, and direction, etc to support the community. This way you can have a direct influence over any investment you make.
you have picked a terrible time to want to invest in cryptocurrencies! specially if you are new to trading in general or trading altcoins specifically.
right now all of the altcoins are being pumped, and are currently in a bubble. you can still find big rises randomly around the market and join in for short term to make profit but nothing is safe as a long term investment at this point.
I dont think that the prices would settle down any time soon. Hi guys, I need to invest a large sum of money into emercoin. Wanted to buy an amount equivalent to 50k - 60k $. I cannot find any offers though. All offers on exchanges are not more than 3k-4k coins. Can someone give me an offer or advice smt. Also looking for people who have experience in mining emercoin.

We do not support generated transactions from pools like Eligius, P2Pool etc.
This is written in btce conditions when depositing money. What kind of pools are those and why they do not support transactions from them?
Does any one know any methods cryptocurrency exchanges earn their money? It cant be only fees for widrawal/deposit and operation comissions. There should be something more obscure. Can someon eshed some light on the topic.
For bigger exchanger with high daily trading volume even 0.20% trading fee will be enough to pull 100s of bitcoin in profit daily. But for new and low volume trading platform, they try to cover their running cost offering ICO service for new coins taking some % of collected ICO amount or offer to list just launched coins in their platform for certain fees.Could you explain what "ICO service for new coins taking some % of collected ICO amount" means?
