I bought shares in the Neptune groupbuy. Kncminer claims that they have shipped batch 1, which means we should be mining. I have not heard anything, and am wondering if my investment is gone for good. I sent a PM to anykeywhy, but he did not respond. I'll let everyone know if I get any updates from anykeywhy, but for now I assume that he took my BTC and ran to somewhere (in Italy?).

AKW, I've now read the entire thread and just wanted to say "Thank you" for going to all the effort to organise this GB, I think you've shown great patience in dealing with some panicky people and understand when you had to give them the hard word. Also, many thanks to SebJu for being a trusted partner.
I agree, thanks AWK and especially SebJu for your work. However, I also want to say: this has been the sketchiest transaction I've been a part of since I bought oregano thinking it was weed from a random guy on a skateboard decades ago! The consistent use of CAPS lock, the use of 
, the language barrier, and last but not least: the Italian personality that escalates honest questions into a massive troll-fight. This rollercoaster has been quite the opposite of a normal business transaction so far, but I'm still holding out hope it works out in the end!

Like AnyKeyWhy stated... i asked for his login to the knc-Shop so that i can pay the miner directly without having to give AnyKeyWhy the bitcoins. That would negate the purpose of an escrow.

I'd only like to know what is the exact agreement between you and SebJu for the escrowed funds to be released.

We can't expect anykeywhy to make up the difference for the fall of the value of BTC. Come on man, he's helping us all out.

- Since KnC accepts only dollars, the exact price will be determined at the moment of the final buying. Same thing would happen if #2 order does not complete for any reason. FYI: I own another order (#3) that eventually will be used if this may grant any advantage for all of us. But please keep in mind that this isn't the moment for such kind of "probability of probabilities ponderation" but is the right time to exactly see what we are capable to do, or not.

The deal is very clearly 0.05 BTC for 1/300th stake in the miner, it says so on the front page. It is unacceptable to me that you are trying to change that to some different deal now that BTC/USD has dropped a bit.- I haven't ANY control on Bitcoin exchanges rates. I have seen this question asked twice, but you never answered it. Maybe there is something lost in translation! Let me try to ask it very clearly...
So you will send us BTC when the Neptune starts mining. Let's say optimistically that you send us our first return in January. When do we get our final return? June? July?... or whenever it is no longer profitable?

I think it's a great idea. You'll need some sort of credible editors though, maybe you can ask Profs at your local University if they would be interested in participating. You want to make sure that you are publishing quality articles only. It will take a lot of work on your part to filter through submissions and get them peer reviewed, do you have time to do that? If you do, I would suggest you create a Latex template for your journal articles to facilitate a professional look.
