Never posted here but have lurked for a while. Anyway, I have been trading on bitfinex since march or so and never ran into this issue but a few times. This is on margin.

So a lot lately I have had my limit orders (both long and short) only partially fill when completely bought out with the remaining order canceled. The weirdest thing is that I will have varying amounts of remaining trade-able balance after the order partially fills.

I have enough of both BTC and fiat in by trading wallets for any fees for the amount I trade. I am really lost at what is happening and what I can do to actually trade the full amount.

An example, i set a short at $400 for 20 btc, a good $500 under my max tradeable balance. price hits, fills only 14.6358473 btc. Then my tradeable balance shows $1100 but it doesnt equal my total tradeable balance when added to the btc I shorted at that price, its off by atleast $1k-$2k. Then when I close the short, my tradeable balance is back up to normal.

There is no indication in my history of "insufficent funds" or anything like that, just a trade for the random amount of BTC it chooses.

I am getting very frustrated about this, I am losing money because of it and have no idea how to prevent it from happening. I have messed with the asset/currency fee feature but no avail. It fills my order when it wants to and doesnt when it wants to.

Just remembered an additional issue. I had a phantom short order put on my account of around 5btc yesterday. I can send my trading history and such. But there is not a single indication of it ever happening in my history other then when I immediately closed it. Was very very concerned.

I think HW accel may be to blame as stated before, but i think it has to do with the chrome 36 update and beyond. Heres some good info on the situation: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=402134. Seems most have AMD hardware (I do myself), but I do not have issues with other sites, and my gfx drivers are all up to date. So there must be some weird combo of chrome/amd/hw accell going on somewhere. If you need anyone to test anything let me know and ill be happy to help

This works in chrome. I believe it may be a combo of chrome and win 8.1 as it is a mess for me on my 8.1 pc, but on my win 7 laptop and newest chrome, there is no issue.

You would lose in court. You can't play ignorance, you knew the loss on your trades could not be pulled from you if you had empty accounts. You knew SOMEONE had to eat the losses OVER your initial deposit. It would not matter in court that the site said "you won't lose more then your deposit" because that is clearly the intention of the operator as he wouldn't want this scenario to happen.

It HAD to of crossed your mind "hm, if i lose on x10 leverage, but put x btc in and can set this stop limit over my total inital deposit, i could cut out some huge profits while maintaining a small loss." after the first 5 or so times you did it.

You sound like Barry Bonds denying doing steroids. You knew what you were doing was gaming the system. It doesn't make it legal just because you were able to do it, it matters what the intent was and anyone in their right minds know a derivatives exchange would never cover your losses.

I would love to see you blow your money taking them to court though.

i rode the BC train from day one. I know what it holds. But you can't ignore that it only became popular AFTER bottoming out @ 600 satoshi and AFTER it was pumped by a well known group. BC did nothing new other then be in the right place at the right time, just like LTC.

and as everyone should know by now, a coin only becomes successful when a whale/group of whales decide to make a certain coin their cash cow. BC was just ripe when it was 600 satoshi, limited coins and no miners to dump on them. There is NOTHING special other then "rarity", which only matters is a whale thinks it does.

any good guesstamite of how much emc2 per MH/s you are getting while mining?

have a btc w/d of only .15 or so now stuck in "queue" for 8 hours.....Others said they got processed in minutes....I really hope it is not stuck

try deleting everything in you appdata/zeitcoin folder EXCEPT wallet.dat. reun the wallet again and let sync

quick question for you @TWC, will you be allowing any more IPO investors now that the launch has been pushed back and refunds made available?

The online wallet has been closed for like 2 weeks. there were posts here almost every day explaining how to remove your coins....


also, heres another 2 btc buy support. Make it happen.

people following coinwarz are mining doge, no need to worry. And remember, block halving is tomorrow. so we wont even be in the top 100 even when we go to 3 satoshi. Multipools wont even hit until minimum 3, most likely 4 satoshi.

i hope you are at least reading between the lines and not taking it for face value....
