How about chances for Bitcoin Z to take off like Dogecoin?
Both of these are minor coins, in terms of price, but Dogecoin has jumped fastly to top-20 on Coinmarketcap with more than three times increases over a week.

Very slim. Sorry to break it to you.

DAG generation freezes/crashes the whole system with the latest PhoenixMiner. I'm using 8 GTX 1070s (6 MSI Gaming Xs and 2 Zotac Minis). I tried running the miner using -lidag 3, but to no avail.

Miningspeed is a shady pool. They have a lower pool fee of 0.4% compared to others, but they only pay 65% of what is estimated by whattomine. When I switched pools to suprnova or miningpoolhub, the results I got were much closer to whattomine.

Stay away from this pool at all costs.

This pool has low payout and doesn't match whattomine. Even with lower network difficulty in the past 24 hours, their zclassic mining pool still averages less than ~36% of what is reported in whattomine.

I was supposed to get 0.455xx ZCL according to whattomine (2% miner + 5% pool fees already deducted) but only registered 0.2870 ZCL payout on their 24-hour average chart. I also have 2 pending blocks that have been that way for more than 12 hours.

This exchange did the same thing to my account recently.

I suddenly lost access to my account and was locked out. I changed my password and contacted support to unlock my account. They emailed back notifying me that my account has been unlocked but when I tried to login with my new password, I still received an error message that says my account is locked. I sent another support ticket but still have never heard from them.

Why don't these devs come clean with their identities and competencies? Why hide behind pseudonyms

They have explained this. Giving their identities could jeapordize the jobs for them. Also there have been threats before. Alot of sick people in the world, and with families to care for they have decided to stay anonymous. I would have done the same if i i were part of the team.

If I were an investor I wouldn't risk my investment on a project with a shady history and run by anonymous devs.

The team members shouldn't hide behind aliases and instead publish their true names and qualifications if they really want to promote transparency.

Transparency is not about the identity but the work. Does anyone know who is Satoshi Nakamoto? There are many coins out there with aliases for devs. They are still respected and transparent. They reserve the right to differentiate their personal and professional life imho.

With Signatum's previous trackrecord this isn't an option. The team should be identifiable and held accountable if they fuck up investors' money.

What do i need to mine this coin? Can somebody help me? Because i´m new to crypto.

Google for a musicoin pool to join there are lots. The pools wil have instructions on how to mine the coin. Nom nom pol seems to be ok, they have several server issues i see a lot

I'm doing a test run on nomnom right now.  I like how quickly the stats update.  So far the balance is not growing as quickly as I'd like/expect but sometimes there is a lot of lag, that is certainly the case with Mining Pool Hub.  I'll let it run overnight and evaluate.

Is there any way to control when payout occurs or is it fixed at 50 coins?

no it's completely random.

Completely random? I'm at this for more than 12 hours and currently sitting with 191 pending coins and I'm still waiting for this to be sent to my wallet. This nomnom pool could be a scam. Total waste of time and electricity.

Not sure if this issue is caused by the miner or it's because of Ethermine, but when the miner does a FAILOVER and switches to the next available mining pool in your epools.txt list, the miner seems not to be reporting submitted shares to the pool. Hence in Ethermine's Dashboard, the worker/rig doesn't appear. Although the actual hashrates are still accurate, the reported hashrates are not.

I think I have figured out what he meant.

AMD cards are affected but Epoch changes. With every new epoch the hashrate of AMD card drops. Red rigs losing profitability on every 3rd day. NVidia cards are not affected.

With a fix of the driver AMD rigs will improve hashrate. It will consequently cause difficulty spike. Nvidia will lose profitability.

AMD will gain profitability as the improved hashrate and profitability will overcompensate the loss due to the difficulty.

If I am right I am very impressed by that guy putting such a complex explanation into 6 words Wink
He is also wrong that  NVidia rigs not mining ETH. They do.

With the AMD driver fix, AMD cards just regained the hashrate they lost from the increased DAG filesize while NVidia cards gained or lost nothing (NVidia cards' hashrate won't change even up to DAG 190). Status quo pre-DAG increase was just restored. Everyone is affected by the difficulty spike whether it's AMD or NVidia cards.

Upcoming version supports Vega and fan management for latest drivers, so the only thing you need is to wait a couple of days for new drivers from AMD.

@claymore Thanks a lot . and i am happy that i didn't buy any GTX cards Smiley) i knew that AMD will NEVER give this chance to NVIDIA . LOL

I still get the same 33 MH/s on my GTX 1070s. Mining difficulty increased for everyone whether you're AMD or NVidia. So what exactly are you LOL'ing about?

Great news! Can't wait to see 30mh/s again.

I cannot understand what exactly makes you happy!?
You will get 5% increase in hash-rate but the difficulty will go up 10-15%, so you will lose 10% on profitability!
Take a note of your earnings now and then and update us later on your feeling Smiley

Been saying this for a while, it makes no difference to AMD miners. Our profitability will remain the same. The worst hit for this upgrade will be nvidia cards, but most of them are not mining eth anyway so again all this makes zero difference in the end.

Can you enlighten me why this upgrade hits Nvidia cards the worst? I might be missing something here. Thanks.

All I want to know is if I can reach 435 Sols/s using GTX 1070 stock values - without having to tweak core/mem clocks and temps.

It could be done auto, but then you loose ability to do low intensity mining.

Equihash is a bit different than other algos.

So the only thing I need to do is tweak the ini settings of the excavator to get the Sol/s as stated on NiceHash website? Or do I also need to tweak my GTX 1070's clock speeds/mem speeds/voltage to get the 435 Sol/s?

What puzzles me is why do we need to specifically set two 'workers' to maximize the performance for the GTX 1070? I don't get the logic behind it. I tested the excavator with my GTX 750Ti and didn't need to set anything to get the correct Sol/s as stated on the NiceHash website.  I expected the same for the 1070.
