Hello everyone!
I am thinking of opening a new service called the BitBank!
Essentially, it is a 24/7 online "bank" for bitcoin services.
If we open, we will offer:
Physical Bitcoins in Paper "checks" or metal "coins"
Exchange from Money Order to BTC
A free lottery you can enter, where the jackpot is 1 BTC
Secure storage for your Physical bitcoins in our fireproof safes, free when you buy a physical BTC
And Some other custom services.

It came online for a few minutes. Now 503 again.
It's OK with me as long as the site works when I play for real.

Physical BTC deposit? SOLVED.

OK, lets say I buy some paper bitcoin "checks" (No, I haven't yet).
The "checks" have no BTC on them, as of the time I buy them.
They have a private key.
How do I deposit bitcoins to a private key?
--
The site is PrintCoins if you need the site name for more info.

EDIT:
Never mind, I solved it.

OK.

By the way, do you use your own server or do you use a VPS?

Suggestions:
Stats feature (total won, total lost, etc.)
Backup your URL to a flash drive directly from the site.
Let the user select a field size.

I hope this helped.

But any OS has its disadvantages...

dont be fooled by anti-virus programs, it is just good for those who sale it. before releasing trojan into network, bad guys testing it to be detectable by all major antivirus programs. no body will release detectable trojan. Once become detectable trojan encrypted, update issued and it again undetectable. antiviruses always behind for 2 weeks a t least in this race.
Yes, I agree to a point. However, the "crypters" as they are called, wear off after a while. So keep using your AV software.

Mining: A beginner's guide.

Hello everyone!
Anyone who needs help "mining" (getting free bitcoins in exchange for processing power), Please feel free to PM me.
I am running a "pool" (group of miners) where you get 99% of the profit. The other 1% goes to the ASPCA to buy food and shelter for animals.
To get started you need:
A good GPU (ATI is best)
You can also mine with your CPU, but GPU is way more effective
You also need a internet connection with unlimited time per month.
PM me to join my pool and/or to get started mining.

Thanks for all the info mokahless. If you know anyone who needs to join a pool, can you send them to me?
Also, thank you Derek for your advice. If you want to join my pool Derek, you get 99% of the profit and 1% goes to the ASPCA.
If you don't want to, I am not offended at all.

Right now I am using an AMD 64 athlon X2 CPU. I am mining on ufasoft's miner using the tripleming pool.
Do you know any miners that work for nvidia cards? Would it be faster than my CPU?
Thanks for the advice. Should I Liquid cool it? And can I mine CPU and GPU at the same time?
And you can join my pool if you want to help out the animals Smiley

Re: Trojan Wallet stealer be careful

Here are some tips to keep your wallet secure:
ALWAYS use antivirus software (The paid AV is better than free. AVG seems to work best for me, there is a free version if needed)
ALWAYS use a firewall (Most AV software includes this, make sure it does. Also, make sure you have a hardware firewall.)
NEVER download from an untrusted source
NEVER turn off User Account Control on Windows Vista/Windows 7
NEVER turn off your AV/Firewall unless you really have to for a video game, web server, etc.
ASK yourself these questions before you download anything:
1) Do I know what this program does?
2) Is there any chance this program contains a virus?
3) Is the file name misspelled or does it look suspicious?
4) How many people downloaded it, and were there any bad reports about it?
KNOW that every file can possibly have a virus hidden in it
KNOW that no virus scanner is 100% effective
KNOW that a virus can NOT harm you unless you open it
MAKE backups of your wallet file (PM me if you do not know how, I'll tell you.)
ENCRYPT your wallet with a very strong password of AT LEAST 10 words
BE AWARE that there can also be viruses for MAC OS and LINUX (and other operating systems)
RESEARCH all programs. No reviews or information? Don't download. Ask around first.

I hope my post keeps the community well informed.
