Is it possible?  Or does the factory reset actually fully wipe the data?

The problem is better is subjective, and not everyone will agree on, let alone know, what better really is.

And that is why non-aggression is so important.  You can do what you want as long as you don't interfere with others.

I could see things going lower before they start going up on February 1st... But I'm not willing to take the risk of selling now. :-)

Just as expected, the market is crashing just as we get more confirmed bad news out of China.

This article is silly.  Really it is.

I think we're going to see some serious action after the 31st.  Anyone else get that feeling?

I come to a conclusion that this market is retarded (as in slow) it took it 2 days to react to china news and drop from 1200 and it took a day and a half to react to overstock news

this is someone panic buying, not reaction to overstock.

I think both can be true.  A panic buying reaction to overstock.

Overstock accepting Bitcoin is huge news in my book. I expect the price rise is delayed as the news brings new investors into the market but this process takes a little for people to figure out how to buy.

So prices next week over $1000 on Bitstamp seem quite likely to me.

Theoretical Scenarios of Core Dev Team Compromising Bitcoin
by

What are some possible scenarios of how the core dev team could intentionally or unintentionally compromise Bitcoin?

Just curious to know possible scenarios where the core dev team would be able to compromise the integrity of Bitcoin.

It's not that I don't trust the team, I do.  I just want to learn more about Bitcoin's potential vulnerabilities.

The display on the windows console does lovely crashes when you have too many devices to fit on it on that older version. Make your command prompt window larger (right click on the command prompt window toolbar and you'll find the settings for the window height).

Exactly what I was looking for.  :-)  Working great now!  Thanks!  :-)

For others who have this problem.

Right click on the command prompt toolbar choose defaults, layout tab, & increase windows size height.

Well I ended up starting another instance of cgminer for the last two erupters and that took care of it.  Kinda a pain though.  Is there a limit of 13 in cgminer?

Cgminer 3.1.1 & Block Erupters Problem
by

I have 15 Block Erupters on 3 hubs in Windows 8.  CGminer crashes if I add more than 13 to my .bat file.  It doesn't matter which 13 I run, they work.  However whenever I go over 13, I get an error that says "cgminer-nogpu.exe has stopped working"

I'd appreciate any ideas about how to get them all working. :-)

This is crazy!!! Stop buy these miners! Difficulty is increasing like crazy!

best regards,
ilpirata79

I'm pretty sure that the Avalons and BFL's miners (whenever they show up) and ASIC's own miners are having more of a dent on increasing the difficulty than these little things are!!!

I'm not as sure about that.  These usb miners seem to be shipping in quite high volumes.
