Are you guys seriously trying this again?

Well good for you.

Maybe this time you'll get the marketing right.

PS don't co-run mining ops that reward tokens with an ICO token sale; disincentive your potential purchasers who could mine it instead.

Also perhaps your tokens could actually reward their holders with dividents for life as opposed to 3 years. That's probably the biggest flaw in the original ICO.

That 3 year limit put off many potential buyers.

Oh and try actually engaging the ethtrader reddit community this time. That's pretty mandatory for most ICO marketing campaigns, since people with large stacks of money hang out there.

Or maybe just ignore everything I said like you did last time.

Either way I like the project but I don't believe in your team or their marketing ability (because they didn't demonstrate any last time).

Finally as someone who I actually bought BlockCDN with Ether, I can tell you confidently that failure last time had less to do with BTC bull and ETH bear markets and more to do with what I've said above and had repeatedly said during your last ICO.

Honestly though Good luck.

Hi guys,

I really wanted this ICO to succeed but the writing was on the wall for me weeks ago when I saw the lack of funding progress.

Just to explain to you why you've failed:

- Simultaneous mining reduced incentives to donate.

- Not publishing a detailed business plan on how much of the funds raised would be reserved for salaries, promotion, development, emergencies etc and when these funds would be used.

- Lack or organised daily promotional campaign to raise awareness several months *before* the crowdfund date.

- Using bitcointalk as a community thread. The quality of 'investors' here is shocking and bitcointalk itself is filled with a lot of junk data, junk talk and suggestions.

- The 3 year limit on token holders earning dividends; nice way to screw your investors over in the long term. From the community chatter I've read outside of bitcointalk this reason alone was the biggest one that stopped people from investing in your crowdfund.

- Lack of daily, active promotion and community engagement in forums where serious ethereum investors hangout e.g.

Ethtrader reddit
Ethereum reddit
Smith and Crown
ICO Countdown
Evan Van Ness Ethereum newsletter

You absolutely should *not* do staged crowdfunds, unless:

- You are willing to present detailed expenditure plans, roadmaps and goals to your community and
- Publish regular confirmations that the goals/roadmap is being reached before acquiring further funding.

I like that you have a public beta. I like that you are targeting a clear market with actual demand and provided a case to undercut and take a segment of that markets profits. I like the fact that you got an ex-barclays boss on board.

That suggests you will find a way to make this work. Unfortunately your horrible promotion at this stage shows me that while you may understand the CDN community, you absolutely do not understand the Ethereum community or blockchain investor community either.

I'd sack whoever was in charge of your marketing and get someone who understands crowdfunding. Try looking and imitating the strategies of Golem, Augur, Digix, Firstblood or any number of ICO's which reached their targets within day 1.

8 days to go. Noticed no new investees for 6 days.

Your promotion of blockCDN has been poor despite this being a good idea/product. Can we expect a full refund of ETH/BTC if the target is not reached (your continual assertions it will be seem delusional at this point) or will you attempt to push forward with funds raised?

What strategy are you employing to draw in more investors over the next 8 days? What will you do if you do not succeed?

I'm very dissapointed that the important questions I've asked days ago remain unanswered as well as how you've sidestepped some of my previous queries.

I like this project but a lack of *detailed* transparency about how funds raised will be used and in what amounts as well as a failure to answer my prior questions leave me skeptical about this project.

If you could respond to my queries I'd have my faith in this project restored but for now I see significant red flags in a good idea.

You should rethink your crowdsale incentives and marketing.

Having concurrent mining rewards during a crowdsale gives small investors less incentive to give and more to mine.

Ethereum price was on a bear trend lately which shook some investors confidence.

Most importantly a total lack of promotion or hype in the months precedeeding your crowdsale and lack of on going community engagement during it. I'm still waiting on that reddit AMA.

I actually don't understand fully the incentive to hold blockCDN after 3 years from start of active service provision since you stop paying dividends to holders after then. It usually takes 3-5 years for a service to build a sizable

What do I gain from holding blockCDN for > 3 years? Do you expect the tokens to appreciate in value? Will there always be a fixed total of tokens or will you increase token cap in future to reduce prices for customers and ensure your profitability and the expense of your early investors?

Perhaps extend the deadline or actually promote actively in threads with ethereum users, investors and audiences e.g. the ethereum or ethtrader reddit sub where plenty of potentially interested people hang.

Your promotion on these threads has been lacking.

If the crowdsale fails aside from refunding the ETH will you:

Do a debrief?
Seek a consultantion on why it failed?
Continue the project?
Seek investment elsewhere?
Relaunch the crowdsale?
Tweak the incentive structure and marketing if crowdsale is relaunched?

https://etherscan.io/address/0x1e797Ce986C3CFF4472F7D38d5C4aba55DfEFE40

9,550.260977348 Ether raised so far looking at this.

As I said, I really want to see this succeed but I'm not sure what you guys are doing promotion wise is adequate.

Golem sold out in 15 minutes and it's not as appealing to me as this project; there is a clear marketing problem from where I stand.

Again no activity or direct engagement on the ethtrader or ethereum subreddits (I did notice a single post today).

25 days left. You should engage this community promptly; lots of large holders/traders and potential investors inhabit these subs; golem, first blood, arcade city, hackergold, augur, digix and gnosis have heavily used these channels for months prior to launching their ICO's to build awareness and generate hype.

I've given it a mention; met with some resistance; lots of cynical people but some direct engagement from your people/reps would help greatly.

This is a good project. It's worth succeeding. Please take heed.

Hi guys;

I really want this crowdfund to succeed as I can see the promise of this project.

Frankly it should have sold out faster than the Golem ICO as it's benefits and time frame are much more immediately tangible.

That said I am concerned about the following:

- The falling price of Ethereum ($12 to $7.90) in less than 1 month

-- Will this cause the crowdfund limit to be readjusted?
-- There is speculation that ETH may drop to $3 USD value - will this effect the project/crowdfund?
--- If further drops occur will this require a further crowdfunding round, discontinuation of the project or a delay in delievery if pushed through?

- The lack of promotion by blockcdn team is astonishingly bad:

-- Where are the posts on the Ethereum and ETHtrader reddit subs?
-- Are you running a slack channel? If not why
-- Are you doing a reddit AMA? Again ETHtrader and Ethereum reddit is where most news and awareness of these projects come from.

- Given the above will you potentially extend the timeframe of the ICO?

I am concerned that this ICO is going to fail not due to the underlying strength of it's value proposition but due to the falling price of Ether and a lack of promotion in necessary circles: Bitcointalk is not my first line source of information for ETH related projects.

Finally if the ICO fails; will my ETH be returned to me?

Warmest regards,

Joskye

Good concept but there are the usual questions that really do need answers such as:

- Who is getting paid what?

- How will the minimum viable funds be spent?

- What would any excess funds be used for?

- Why are VC not involved?

- Launch in 2018. Beta miner is out already so why the delay to test product?

Answers would be very helpful.

PS there are a number of typos on the English translation of your website; makes the project look sloppy.

Question:

There is a 500btc limit so if I donate 1 btc will I get 1/500th of the available 19.5 million ebitz coins?

Also how will the ebtiz coins be distributed to me?

PS PoS chains can be broken if any single individual owns >51% of coin supply.

251 btc is nothing to certain BTC whales so the real question is how will you prevent this from happening?

Ok on the surface this sounds great but I have two very important questions or I'm declaring red flags:

1. How do you plan to manage the ICO so that distribution of coins is even or at least even enough to prevent a 51% monopoly on coin ownership occurring in the hands of a small cabal of owners.

- 19.95 million coins for 500btc isn't much for some people and whale dominance can completely override the benefits that PoS otherwise brings.

- Is there going to be a maximum limit per individual investor?

- Do you think whale accumulation will damage community confidence in ebitz?

- Do you have any other mechanisms in place to limit whale accumulation (e.g. single person ownership >15% total supply).

2. Why don't you have your own dedicated whitepaper?

- Yes you explain the differences between zcash and ebitz nicely but you haven't explained how you are going to convert the zcash anonymity protocols to work on PoS.

- Where is the code for ebitz to explain how the PoS switch will be handled and scaled?

3. What is the method by which you will be receiving funding?

- I appreciate you are accepting bitcoin but having signed up to your wordpress website I see no explanation of how the ICO funds will be received/sent and how the tokens will then be issued after.

- Is there an escrow service?

- How do I know this isn't just a scam to steal my money?

4. Does this implementation still require a trusted setup?

...

I do like the ebtitz concept; PoS Zcash without a founders fee and future implementation of a marketplace are major plus points in it's favour over other anon cryptos but the time to ICO is very short (suspiciously so) and there are some big red flags unaccounted for here presently.

I am very interested but please could you provide a response to these important questions otherwise I am staying out of this one.
