I like the general public's reaction of late as most of us have shifted our attention from the bear trend to when bull run. This is what we have to start and let new members be prepared for one big period that is coming when prices will be moving upward forever and never come down.
ICO in 2017 was a mere bubble and now the bubble is burst. That period may never come again be cause those 2017 ICOs did nothing after raising those huge sums of monies which has taught us a lesson as to invest in ICOs or not.
Digital currencies are too young to be thought of as a failure. I think the future is full of countries accepting cryptos and to the last time when the last man accept and use crypto in their daily transaction. Crypto has come to stay and it is backed by a system that is trusted. I perceive mass adoption of crypto in the next 2 years. Everyone will see the positive side of crypto soon.
BNB has proven to me that it will be the best coin to look for in times of a bull run. It is still a good time to buy some if you could not join when the price was ranging from 6 to 7$. Currently, it is around 15$ which is not too far for a coin worth over 20$ some time ago. All the best, BNB!
Indeed cryptos are to the moon but in bits because when I go back to BTC's low and the way it keeps rising, it is a cool and tells me that we are on the rise. We shouldn't expect a sharp upward movement. we will indeed reached the moon soon.
There are coins which have reduced drastically and I think it is because people are selling their crypto for fiat due the long term market situation and then come back when things change. I have witnessed a lot of altcoins go to their ATLs this year and this is due to the fact that the bear market has stayed for a very long time.
All these men you mentioned have made their predictions but none came true which tells us all that the crypto market is unpredictable even if you are a bull yourself.

If you want to make money, do not waste your time in participating in ICOs because you wouldn't get the promised ICO price which is very discouraging. I have participated in more than 3 ICOs and only 1 is above ICO price, the rest are below the ICO price like -70%. SO the best time to buy is to sit and wait when the coin is listed on an exchange.
To me, bitcoin is a better store of value as said by the OP. I feel like I posses my BTC at hand more than when they were to be Gold which can be destroyed or stolen which BTC is not very vulnerable unless you make a mistake. Ownership of Gold means you have to carry it along when going to exchange whereas bitcoin does not need the owner to carry it in their full bags.

I was once an investor had few gains to some ICO/crowdsale but made many losses so I decided to stop participating in ICO instead I do bounties and buy it thru exchanges from bounty hunters dumping it.

I think its better to pay hunters in eth or other alts rather than risking the price of their token or coin in that way they could also help their investors and boost confidence to their future and their project. Well for me a falling price is a mark of a failing project "ICO's"

It is not always that bounty hunters do the dumping. The devs also need to distribute the tokens to bounty hunters so that if they start dumping, it will be like it's bounty hunters that are dumping. Crypto is and will always be smart money for smart people.
I think bitcoin has already reached the 4000 price just that it keeps going down immediately it gets to this price. I do not know why it can't stay there for long but I think the next move will be $4K above and it will never come lower. Bitcoin was from 3200 to 3400 to 36-3800 which gives me the hope that the next target is 4K- 4.2K
This period in general, is a good period to buy crypto but the only advice I will give you is that you have to diversify your money in parts to help you to avoid excessive loss in case things turns out to be the other way round.
I also do not believe that traditional currencies will leave our lives, but I think that the cryptocurrency will be able to work with Fiat money on a level. I think I still need some time passed people to take bitcoin as a forum of payment.
You are right mate. Before we see mass adoption in bitcon and crypto, we have to make it clear that we don't have the intention to eliminate our traditional currencies but rather to use them together for faster and easier transactions.

Bitcoin if it goes to $2500 is not the worst we can see. It is expected in the world of crypto and that doesn't bring Bitcoin to an end, there will be a time of only upward movement. We just have to remain positive and also patient.
This airdrop is limited for some years so no matter what the total supply will become stable so there is no need to sell for tron because you you don't know the fate of tron as well.

This is the new strategy that most devs are using to steal money from investors. They tell you they are in seed round or private sale, whatever way they may call it and offer larger bonuses that will entice investors into buying with the hope that they have the coins for cheap and for that matter they are lucky but here is the case that period never ends so in turns out to be that the investors are losers instead of being lucky.
It isn't too late to buy but do not expect it gain when you buy some because we are in a bear market and for that matter the little rise in the price of every coin will lead to a correction because people will rush to take their profits.
They planned SCAM from the very beginning. In the pre-ICO they lied investors about 1710 BTC worth investment made by "prominent europen bank", only to avoid to return money to investors due to failure to collect needed money.
They gave false promises about keeping price in tight, +-5% range, Minexbank interventions on market ot preserve coin value, how coin will increase value in 2018 for at least 84.88%.All these promises were made just to trick investors to invest in Minexsystems.
They presented investors Whitelist they have never intended to achieve. Almost immediately after Minexsystems collected BTCs in ICO phase, they began with making AR and VR games,things never mentioned or planned in Whitelist. So,they diverted investors money in Boris Shulayev private project,instead to realize Whiltelist,scamming investors.
But ,money collected in the ICO was not enough for making AR and VR games,so they were selling theirs premined coins,worth 100s of BTCs on Livecoin and EXMO ,effectively destroying markets. When the price came almost to $1-2, they opened Instabuy to sell remained premined coins. Instabuy removed buyers from exchanges, increased sell pressure and pushing price of MNX coin into oblivion.
Finally ,they started illegal payment card scheme,just as a tool which with Instabuy will help them to sell all remained premined coins :
- illegally used other company(UAB KRISTOLINIS DUGNAS) account on Upaycard,breaking basic Upaycard and Mastercard regulation and FCA AML laws through hiding true beneficial owner of account
- sending cards to people which residence is out of EEA zone,giving Upaycard false information about theirs real place of residence which put in jeopardy Upaycard license(only for EEA zone) issued by Mastercard
- they denied users access to theirs sub-accounts on Upaycard,forcing them to pay Minexpay special tariffs anf fees if they want to use card
Now they want to sell investors virtual shares from the AR game they made with investors money
This is one never ending scam.
I wonder if there are people still interested in this project because everything proves that it is a clear scam. They don't even allow members to share their worries and frustrations in the group. Only diverting people's attention from what must be asked. if there was ever something to do to remove minexcoin from the crypto world, I would have gone for that. It is killing people and no one(team members) seems to care about it.
They should be given a permanent ban on bitcointalk. the negative trust is not enough to deter investors from putting their money in this project.
