- fix device selection bug introduced in 0.6.1
- make linux performance improvements introduced in 0.6.1 optional
via 'mq-solver' parameter (due to issues on some systems)
- improve device initialization on large systems
This version fixes 'SSL_connect failed r:2 error:14094410:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:sslv3 alert handshake failure' errors which prevented zm from connecting to pools. Performance improvements introduced in 0.6.1 for linux systems caused issues on systems which use only 1 PCI-E lane - this optimization is disabled now by default. You can enable it using the introduced 'mq-solver' parameter in 0.6.2.

Great to see new updates! Very positive to see this with all the negativity. Ignore all crap and keep going! I've done developer work and it's a pain.

I tried it and it work very well since days : I have the Cuda 8 version (Cuda 9 have some issues with Ubuntu kernell and NVidia driver).Anyone tried it yet?.. and is it actually the same ewbf dev?

anyone else noticed the price drop in zec. how low will it go with asic mining taking over?
Yep.. both my miners are almost 1000 sol/s lower.. but the graph on flypool looks higher. Not sure what is up.
I bet Nviidia is in on this too. Why would they not be. They want us to buy newer cards to drive up their stocks, especially since it's a slow time on their graphs on the 'in between' of new cards coming out.

ive been trying to troubleshoot problemati gpu(s) in dstm 0.6.1 with SMOS, and it seems like 1 or 2 of my cards have issues so im using "--dev 0 1 2 4 5" to run all but one card at a time
however, its resulted in the console outputting only the stats of gpu#4 line after line. no stats are given for the other cards or overall hashrate
i should be getting 1600-2000sols if 5 cards are functional - and i do seem to get that poolside, but the lack of console output makes tuning tough
UPDATE: running either card 4 and/or card 5 alone reveals that both work terribly (either giving only stats for one gpu, or doing nothing at all except getting difficulty changes and rebooting.
i know the cards are problematic, but in windows they cooperated at aleast - i dont know what the issue is here (swapping risers is my next step)

Yeah, you gotta go through the power cable swap,.. riser swap steps. I ended up getting a different power supply and it fixed all my woes here. (thermaltake much better than evga here)
And make sure you give enough time for the card to be recongnized.. almost 5 to 10 minutes sometimes.

to get 4 souls/watt on a 1070 ti, means you have the TPD about 58-60% lol you should post you're config cause I just dont see that type of hash rate with that low of TPD.
That is actually not true. I have 6 GTX 1070 Ti and get 4.12 sols/W average between the 6 cards and all of them are running at 70% TDP. The best one it is doing 4.23 sols/W. Have a look
No need to go that low but still I am surprise about the performance difference on the hashrate. I average 3107 maximun 3111 and he is doing 200 more sols average. Are you using Windows or Linux? and what driver version?

It contains some bug fixes and improvements you have asked for. 0.6.1 improves the performance on linux-system by about 2% - unfortunately it's not possible to take advantage of this particular improvement on windows-systems. I've slightly changed the terminal-ui so if you're parsing it be aware of it. There is a second incompatibility: the cmd-line parameter '--temp-target' supports now the configuration of individual GPUs, it's syntax has changed because of this.

Question,. I'm getting one card color as dark orange sometimes on the end.. almost red.. says 605? .. what is this?
It's network latency.

Just a few quick questions... so when, "server sets difficulty",.. is it set and locked?.. because when I up the settings on my cards while running in afterburner,.. I would expect my sol/s to go up.. but they stay the same.
Maybe I should launch cards with higher settings (in afterburner) to get a better difficulty rate?
Should I not change card settings after launching bat file?
Also, if I change afterburner settings while running,. does it stay on the same pool?.. Or is it better to restart miner to reconnect.. where it looks like it does the "server sets difficulty" again.

I just noticed a new server on Flypool for USA . us1-zcash.flypool.org Runs a little faster on my end so far. Maybe dstm can make it faster?
I'm not sure I'm understanding this.
Even more puzzling is that this server has been online for quite awhile; months, at least.
My apologies.. but I haven't checked Flypool server updates in a while. Eu1 still seems faster after tests here.

I'm not sure I'm understanding this.
The closest server to me in the US was eu1,. .now there is a us1 for Flypool. Was just guessing if any network improvements could be made based upon the new location.

Yeah.. that is cool.
I have a small lame request.. how about a beep noise when it fails?.. or pick the windows sound when it fails? I usually would love to know when it fails, but I'm never looking at the screen. I guess there is the email send on flypool.
