So there are 267million not 135million in circulation? Market cap at $0.036 is 9.9million and not 4.95 million? Once this gets updated on CMC is it likely to push the price down even more?

Click on top right "Etherdelta (Private Key)" --> Gas Price
I use 60GWEI for very fast transactions (about 2 minutes)

You can transfer Vibe into Ethereum wallet, just choose watch token with contract address: 0xe8ff5c9c75deb346acac493c463c8950be03dfba

and transfer to your ethereum address.
I always test with a small amount and see if I receive it (you will pay 2 times fee but then you're sure)

Thanks Cody, appreciate it!

If I'd only known 2 days ago - my order got stuck in pending for 3 hours then bumped back to me, twice. I still think it's early days for this coin though.

Sorry, more noob questions:

Is there any way of speeding up etherdelta transactions? Perhaps by paying a higher fee in ether? If so, how much ether fee should I pay?

Is there a wallet for VIBE? Can I use my ethereum wallet?

Thankyou.

Isn't it strange that ico gathered such a small amount and now suddenly Vibe is in such demand ?

I wouldn't say 5,552 ETH is an incredibly small amount, 1.6 million USD is a lot of money. People are seeing the value in what we offer and with the announcements we plan on making in the near future, VibeHub will have plenty of resources  Smiley

I'd rather a company call a lean budget enough, than a bloated one too little. Shows hunger.

I'm considering buying VIBE on etherdelta, but what I don't understand is the wildly different price of each purchase. Also, why do some people buy at a higher price than the lowest sell order. This doesn't make sense at all.

There is no price matching on EtherDelta.

Let's say the order book looks like this:

9000 @ 0.10
4000 @ 0.09
1000 @ 0.08

You want to buy 5000. On most exchanges you can click on the 0.09 and it will get you the 1000 @ 0.08 and the 4000 @ 0.09. On EtherDelta you'd only get the 4000 @ 0.09, leaving the 1000 @ 0.08 in the order book. That's what I think happens.

But what's happening is, some buyers are ignoring 4000 and 1000, and buying directly at 9000. It looks like they are choosing to pay a higher price when they can pay lower.

Noobs' learning curve...best losses come early though.

LOL! So I finally worked out why the big price differences - smart contracts are slow moving! Finally got hold of some vibe, after many tries!

If they want to tax our crypto transactions and assets, doesn't that mean they will have to
ban all anonymous cryptos (like Monero)? Maybe that's why all these horror stories about cryptos
being used for illegal things are spread about so much by governments. They want to keep
an eye on our assets.

China regulation - authoritarian regimes and blockchain
by

So China's temporary ban on ICOs dragged the whole market down. It got me thinking about strong, authoritarian states
and blockchain technology. Can an authoritarian government whose instinct is to centralize power really take full advantage
of blockchain?

I am pretty new to cryptos, but one of the advantages that everyone talks about is decentralization.
If nearly all economic and social functions in society are to be carried out by blockchain, doesn't it mean that
governments will lose their power to control people?

Can authoritarian governments just create and control all blockchains in their country and reap the economic advantages
of the new technology? Or is there something inherently subversive and revolutionary about blockchain that will
destroy power-hungry, centralizing governments for good?
