Yesterday, we took their website down bypassing Cloudflare protection. Since they are up again and more people falling in their scam, we started the DDOS attack again. They are down!

If this turns out to be a scam, which i'm still somehow remaining optimistic, i'd say a class action against Cointelegraph would be in order. This would also greatly hurt crypto in general and would usher in govt regulation.
Dude, it definitely is a scam. A few of us here got duped by it...
We just need to bring CONTINUED AWARENESS to those who have not done any research and are thinking about investing. Cointelegraph is definitely being flooded by emails by now; but not just them - there are four to five crypto, media outlets that are receiving emails as to why they still have their articles up on this ICO.

Good question.. Same here, was my first ICO, seems like got screwed on this one. Would be good to know whether there's any chance getting the money back?
Highly unlikely. These fuckers did a thorough job. Only thing left to do is warn others on here and anywhere else. I'm going to continually repeat that until the end of this SCAM ICO is complete.

Just dropped 1 ETH to World of Battles...I neglected to look up this kind of thing, but now I'm really worried after reading this thread. 
. I got the same email regarding automatically getting my tokens tomorrow on October 18th. It doesn't look like the eSports organizations that they claim are partners are actually affiliated with World of Battles...is there anything you can do if all of this is true and already contributed ETH?

I think it will be list on bittrex and reach 1-5$ per coin soon, good long term project
$1-5 eh? quite ambitious. Even at $1, that would put it in the top 15... Possible potential, but highly unlikely in the near future. Maybe late 2018, early 2019

I sent a email on their website and received a response from the person claiming to be their founder as I had made a 1 ETH contribution during the first hour but hadn't received anything in the way of tokens in the hours folowing. His response was "Hi,
To provide investors' money safety sending tokens is carried out in a half automatic mode on October 18.

I also asked about the transaction field data but received no response, only "We send tokens to the address which has been used for transferring"
Finally I asked about the oddities found on their website code and further clarification regarding the transaction date field when sending payment but have yet to receive another response.
To provide investors' money safety sending tokens is carried out in a half automatic mode on October 18.

Hmm, definitely fishy. I had made a 1 ETH contribution as well, which was accepted on Etherscan without the data field filled in properly
