I need answers to these:
- Is Bitcloud implementing anything else other than a payment/masternode system(roadmap?) and why aren't they transparent with the team? I want to know who's behind this project to invest further other than just MN/POS...
- Is there an updated guide to installing/setting up masternode to VPS Linux since a few weeks ago the wallet has been updated to the latest version(2.0.0.5)?

can you run the masternode from local wallet or vps is recommended?
Hey, you need a static IP, so a VPS server is very much recommended. But the ALQO will still stay on your local wallet and do not have to leave your PC.
coins never stay on a PC or wallet... they stick to a private key... totally unimportant where you are used to look at it...

I'm running the Windows executable and I'm experiencing extremely slow blockchain sync. Anyone has this issue?
On the miner.exe screen it says:
LOCAL BLOCKCHAIN 27611.283333333333 MINUTES BEHIND (1683748.737373), WAITING FOR SYNC TO COMPLETE
etc, etc....It's slow

delete your ledger and it will bootstrap a very recent version

download the bismuth blockchain from the website, extract it then put into static folder inside bismuth repository. You should had newer blocks and it will sync faster.On the miner.exe screen it says:

Is there clear instructions on how to use the interface, start node, and mining files? Do I start the node first then mining files?
Just do the following:
1. Click the Start Node - This will start the Node. It will first synchronize the ledger up to when the entire blockchain is downloaded(Don't worry, its not large). You will know its complete when message start to scroll down in every few seconds.
2. Click Interface - This will show you the current status of your account. In short this is a wallet interface.
3. Click Mining - If you wish to solo mine with your computer and earn some Bismuth coins. It will begin mining only when the complete blockchain has been downloaded. The mined coins will be added to the default account which is seen through the interface in 2. above.

Smart man and congrats on your 5th MN! Curious, are you running all the nodes from VPS or bitcloud wallet with same IP address? If so, please share how you set up additional masternode running on the wallet under the same IP address, thanks!

Can you add more than one masternode using same IP address into the windows QT wallet? I noticed many masternodes have same IP.

I have been running my MN for months without any issues even after my PC crashes. However, yesterday is a problem and this is the message I get every time I start my masternode:
not capable masternode: Could not connect to xx.xx.xx.xxx:9999
This issue applies to my other MN as well. Same messages etc. Anyone has the same issue and how you go on fixing this?

Has your external IP address changed, or if you're using port forwarding perhaps the internal host got a new IP assigned via DHCP?
The key issue is the node is longer accessible from outside of your network.
Hi.
I haven't change my IP address or the ports. Also, I'm not running from a server, etc. It's straight from my own PC at home. Running fine for a month or so and all of a sudden I can't run it a few days ago...However, I did turn off and on my DSLR and router to reset it because of slow network speed. Could this change/affect my external IP?
If you have any other suggestions, please do and thanks!
