Re: Eligius: New payout method NOMINATIONS PLEASE

Proportional per time period:

Take a time period. (lets say 24 hours)

Then let everybody mine that time period. After that time period you say how many blocks have been found and devide this by the total shares that time period and multiply it by the shares per user.

This has a big benefit to smaller miners because in the current Proportional pools they have no chance of getting any share for the blocks that take less then one minute.

The other benefit is the fact that you would only have to update everyones balance once a day. (or maybe still have some expected payout)

This method also deals with pool hopping.

blabla

I used to use these flags with OpenCL, I have no idea what they do - should I use them with the ones you suggested?

-v -w128

Thanks for your help - really appreciate it!

You should play a littl with the -f value. You could try anything between -f1 (windows will lag) -f30 (here i can watch 720p) -f100 (1080p) and stuff.

Do you have a HD5XXXX card ? then try -v -w128. If you underclokc memory to 300 mhz then try -v -w256. (downlclocking is possible with afterburner, search msi afteburner in this forum)

If you are happy with my reply, please donate to Kiv, he should recieve more for his work on GUIminer

@Kiv: Can you maybe add support for this: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=19169.0

Anybody have any extra flag values (OpenCL / Phoenix) to keep the GPU say at 50% load or lower allowing someone to use the PC whilst mining?

-f100 works

or -f200 works even better.

works with opencl

There seems to be a problem with the nl1 server.

I get disconnects all the time. Switched to nl2 (like more people have done by the looks of hashing rate)

I think there was just a attempt to disrupt the market by a guy who offered 30 eur per btc. Now the whole ask section of bitmarket is empty so he could just sell some of his coins for a higher price.

I think he will never pay.

If he does not pay before tomorrow could he be banned ?

I have sent a whole sum with 8 digits to my bitmarket adress but only the firs 2 digits are showig up. Could the site be edited to show the whole sum ?

(i have sent x.xxxxxxxx and now only x.xx is showing up)

Hmm Just noticed that when i pay out the whole sum is transferred. I would like to pay out only 2 digits because i pay out directly to a market and it wont accept anything that is behind the 2 digits...

Could you make this an option in Settings ?

When is the auto pay implemented.

I would like to get payment once every 24 hours.

Would pay the 1.5% to do so.

Hey kiv,

Nice update but i cant get -s to work. Says its starting but never does.

Here are some features that would be nice:

Detect if mouse is being used and switch to -f100 and then back to -f0 if mouse and keyboard are inactive or a movie is playing ?
Able to put backup pool if first one is offline ?

Thanks.
