Re: The World Needs a New Kind of Currency

The World Needs a New Kind of Currency, Bitcoin: Investor Tim Draper

“Bitcoin is the future currency,” he said, “Why would I sell the future for the past? Why would I go grab some weird fiat thing that’s subject to the whims of some government?”

As for Bitcoin’s upside, Draper argued that “the world market for currency is $86 trillion. I think that will be crypto. I think a very large portion of that will be crypto.”

Draper speaks almost of a new world order created by Bitcoin (and cryptocurrency technology, generally). “The unbanked are bankable through Bitcoin,” he asserts, with banking regulations making it unfeasible for banks to open accounts for those without sufficient cash. The unbanked, Draper insists, represent half of the world’s population.

On the question of security, given the history of exchanges being hacked and cryptocurrencies being stolen, Draper stood firm. “My Bitcoin is more secure than my dollars in the banks.” The blockchain has not been hacked, he argues, whereas banks have been “over and over”.

What's your opinion about the statement of Investor Tim Draper, will the bank and government be alarmed,  and do something that would affect us negatively?

All I can say is the banks are all afriad for the changes of our generation. They are also afriad it is because they go to bankruptcy once the bitcoin take the place vs fiat.

by

if you have the benefits from bitcoin? you can promote bitcoin in many ways.

-By explaining bitcoin to others, spread the word about bitcoin and take note you must learn more about bitcoin to do this.
-If you have skills in blogging, design, video and photo editing, web design, etc. Create something different out of your skills to promote bitcoin.
-If you have business establishment try to experiment to accept bitcoin currency.

if you have any idea how to promote bitcoins just share here.

I think there are many ways to promote bitcoin. For example, we can publicize bitcoin through TV advertisements, which can increase the popularity of bitcoin and make bitcoin better promoted. We can also use social software to promote bitcoins, which can attract more young people to invest in bitcoins.

You don't need to prove them, there's a lot of tutorial in youtube they can use a tutorial for start up in bitcoin. But the best way is to use media fir publication of bitcoin it is the fastest way to introduce the bitcoin in a country/world.

Once it will happen this is the best time to buy a bag of ethereum. I wish I could do it but nahhhh. It is impossible because I had only 200 usd in my wallet. Hehe! In 2-5 days you will see the ETH can recover so fast.

Why alt coins are good for trade ? why not bitcoin ?

In this rate of bitcoin, the value is too high... it will require you to have a bag of bitcoins or at least 1-5 BTC to have a good profit unlike in altcoins you only need at least 500bucks and enjoy earning..

If you're just a dumb and don't know how to protect your keys well, all I can say... Say good bye to your bitcoin. Bitcoin is a totally secured, you must need to know how to protect your private keys or better to have an cold wallet. You know in this internet world, you can't trust even a single website specially if you want to store your bitcoin. Be aware to phishing sites and be vigilant to all times. Stay away from suspicious website.

Waiting is for those who don't have a guts to risk their money. Don't waste the opportunity around in cryptocurrency. We must need to find where is a good one to invest.

Re: ICO is the best way to invest?

Yes, investing in an ICO can lead to x5-x10 profit instantly as long the ICO is well planned and has a support of the community. Like what happened to ETN, it has a full support of the community and they are trying to provide the mass adoption to the people.

An ideal cryptocurrency is can adopt by the mass. If the coin has a high transaction fee and slow confirmation this is not the real one can provide to the whole world. I hope bitcoin is doing good and ethereum.

Better to hold it tight. Theres a airdrop tokens will be pump soon as the developer continue to work with their plan. Even we know this is ain't work because they don't have funds but as you can see, ebtc, blue, and other are doing great right now even they don't have an ICO.

From the looks of things other cryptocurrencies are really rising this year
Look at Ripple it is second on the marketcap

Not all of them theres always a coin that dev will abandon it and never comeback. You can't remove the failure in life, even in cryptocurrency. Not all the coins will success but I am looking forward to see the cryptocurrency rising this year. I feel this year is a show time of crypto

Re: IOTA OR XRB?
by
justBorn

I've got some of both but I still want to know you're thoughts.

Do you think these are a good investment atm? And which of the two are you more keen on?

I feel like Raiblocks might explode sometime soon. I'm sort of getting the same impression that I got with Ethereum late last year, but I still made the mistake of selling my ETH and not trusting my gut. Of course, even though I want to trust my gut, my gut isn't magical and I don't have absolute confidence.

I will choose also XRB the price is low right now. It can possible take over in to top 10 market cap once they hit a better exchange like bittrex, poloneix and binance and the price of XRB will 100 usd + at that time.

Re: Can you sell your altcoins ?
by
justBorn
on 12/01/2018, 03:50:56 UTC
Hello everybody , I am kind of new to this world.
I have made some investments in the altcoin , I think I have some good coins wich I can trust more in my portofolio like PRL , Onions , Dubai Coin and in my opinion Potcoin also.
I also have some coins like Verge , Power Ledger , Dogecoin in wich I dont have that much trust but I really just can't sell them , I'm like afraid that they will rise good and I will regret selling them.
I have some coins on my mind wich I will also like to add to my portofolio but it seems like my only option is to deposit more fiat money and buy them also , because I really can't convince myself to sell any coin Smiley.
Do any have this problem, have this fear of selling altcoins before they rise from the buy price , I really can't give up on anything I buy If it doesnt make a huge jump to generate some profit Smiley

Better if you set your goals whether when you want to sell your coins. Holding a coins is powerful rather to buy low and sell high. Someone take profit in 30% gain, someone wants 100%. Its a matter of choice when you want to take your profit.

So 2017 proved to be the best for the bitcoin till now but still the great Officials of many companies are busy in predicting the greater roadmap of btc in 2018 and so on so will it be possible for bitcoin to go more and more high ?

As we all know the bitcoin is continues to rise and it is possible to hit a 100,000 $ in the next next year. we need more patience than greed. For sure you will regret once you sold your bitcoin now.

Re: Sold All my Ripple
by

on 11/01/2018, 15:46:38 UTC
So I bought Ripple about 5-6 months back. Average buy price was under 8K Satoshi, and now today I have sold all for around 15K Satoshi.

Do you think its a good trade? Do you think I should have waited more?
And do you think it has returned well for the amount of time invested in it?

As long as you have a profit theres nothing to worry about. You did a greate job if you see the price goes up again don't regret because you still have a profit. It is better than nothing.
