looks like you got the same error as me, if u read some posts before i made a tutorial. you need to disable real time antivirus scanner and add "webchaind.exe" to the exception rule. it is a bit complicated because the webchain wallet block the webchaind.exe. if u have real time scanner active.. so make sure u turn real time scanner off while running webchainwallet.exe as administrator..after your webchainwallet updated webchaind.exe you should now make the exception rule for you antivirus firewall while your real time scanner is deactivated, after you done the exception rule u can enable real time scanner again and wallet will work fine.

i know people are impatient because they want to see the coin goes to the moon as fast as possible but we are just a fraction of the society. if the world starts to invest in crypto projects like webchain you will see the future will slowly grow. at the moment most of the people know nothing about crypto. if i ask some friends no one of them ever heard about it. but we saw a lot of people sitting in the rocket and laughing to those who diddnt believed. technology and safety comfort is what people love. im right behind every blockchain world news and we got a lot of countries which still testing blockchain technology with positive results and profit with crypto currency and i believe people will get trust in crypto and block technology after it gets matured in the future. just be patient.

and btw. i forget to say for the people who are totally new to mining: the folder AppData is an hidden folder!
windows hides many files and folders by default, preventing users from deleting or modifying files they shouldn’t touch. but you can make windows show these hidden files by changing a single setting.

Windows 10:

Click the “View” tab on File Explorer’s ribbon and click the “Hidden items” checkbox in the Show/hide section. File Explorer will immediately show hidden files and will remember this setting until you change it.
after this step you will be able to see the AppData folder.


Show Hidden Files on Windows 7:

This option is a little more hidden on Windows 7, where it’s buried in the Folder Options window.
Click the “Organize” button on Windows Explorer’s toolbar and select “Folder and search options” to open it.
Click the “View” tab at the top of the Folder Options window.
Select “Show hidden files, folders, and drives” under Hidden files and folders. Click “OK” to save the new setting.

This options window is also accessible on Windows 8 and 10 just click the “Options” button on the View toolbar in File Explorer. But it’s quicker to easily toggle hidden items on or off using the ribbon.
This window is also accessible via the Control Panel on any version of Windows. Head to Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options. On Windows 8 and 10, it’s named “File Explorer Options” instead.

at some windows 10 users, it may be that the "webchaind.exe" is recognize as a virus. but it isn't a virus that was already explained by albertod.

i had the problem: when i start the new wallet update it will be installed without any problems but if I start the wallet it wants to extract the new updated "webchaind.exe" and then it pops up a bug screen while trying to syncronize. something with java error has been showen. i think its because the "webchaind.exe" gets blocked by windows 10.
i checked the folder in user/appdata/local/webchainwallet and i realize that the "webchaind.exe" was missing in the folder. so it was automatically deleted by windows 10 without any information given.

if u have the same problems just make sure your anti-virus real-time scanner is turned off while installing the new "webchainwallet.exe" and after you installed, don't start the wallet directly, just make sure you add an exception rule for the executable "webchaind.exe" to your anti-virus tool! you can also add all ".exe files of webchain to have a safe mining success. but be sure u have the right files from webchain github.

after u added "webchaind.exe" as a non virus to your antivirus tool or windows defender, you can enable your anti-virus real-time scanner again and everything works fine. no worries and good luck by the way

i really want to say thanks to albertod for all the quick responses and the great support, i don't see often!
i prefer to support a team that works hard as a team that grows only through community and luck.
and i do really believe in the webchain team and the importance of it!

by the way i have a little question about the webchain-wallet. i missclicked the Add-Adress button and now i have added a new adress that i dont use. now i own two adresses. is it possible to delete the adress im not using and still keep my main adress?
because i cant find any delete button.

just feels like a never ending symstem everyday a new coin is getting listed.. nowadays we just need the global permission of cryptocurrency and everything will grow up in time. i believe in new coins good luck

big respect to the team for the hard work! i've been watching webchain for quite a while and i have great confidence into your team.
i used the webchain wallet for some trades and it is one of the fastest transactions i've tested before and quite now im happy with it.

yet we need a bigger community and more trades to add more value. we can hold but we also can rise the value with some re-trades. just think about it. the concept must first be understood at the other companies with some great community behind them, then webchain can chain itself to the big coins without any troubles.
