Re: How to Secure Your Finances in a Devaluing Economy

In all the recommendations,  I pick investing in Bitcoin as a sure way of solving the problem of inflation because Bitcoin have proven to be resistant to inflation over the years. Diversification is also one option I consider great but areas I can consider that option is in real estate which have also proven to appreciate with time.

Re: Should I depend solely on Bitcoin?

A friend of mine just got into Bitcoin, lucky for him, his successful. Before he started Bitcoin, he was actually into a good business of selling artwork which wasn't so bad. So he got introduced to Bitcoin and had a quick success. It's actually a good and exciting thing to see someone progress fast like that, but he quit selling artworks and other little businesses that kept him going he stopped, he now depends fully on Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king no doubt, but From my Point of view I think that depending fully on it might be risky to you financially. I don't recommend anyone to depend solely on Bitcoin or any single asset. Bitcoin can fluctuate rapidly and market volatility might impact your financial stability. It is actually very risky to invest in a single asset. The part that scares me the most is that my friend has put all his resources into this one asset. If am wrong please correct me. Thanks
May I know how your friend became so successful in Bitcoin within a short time, is he trading Bitcoin? I know if he is buying to hold, it will take time for him to make big profits. Bitcoin does not stop him from doing his business so he could have combined both of them and still do very well. He will end up becoming bored with Bitcoin, it is a matter of time. Since I'm holding, Bitcoin is seen as passive income for me and it hardly interfere with my career.

Time spent on a specific work will or should result in a good or decent amount of money in exchange.
I have seen the importance of time management because time is the only thing that is not in our power to change. Just like you rightly said, time lost cannot be recovered, that is why we must do our best to use our time wisely to avoid being in a situation of regretting how we use our time I the future.

The question, what are you doing with your time now? Let's reflect on this as individuals  and make better use of our time.

Allowing underage kids to use my details for KYC is the same thing as enabling them to gamble which I know is not good for them. I know the temptation to do that is high especially when such a child have won something big but I will try to resist such temptation unless maybe the KYC is needed to allow him withdraw the money, I might change my mind but I will follow him closely to guide him so he wait for the right age before gambling.

Re: want to know btc in the future.....

However, I'd like to know if there will be BTC miners once the supply is fully mined, and will the fees for sending from wallets to exchanges be high? I also wonder if the price fluctuations will be similar to the current bearish and bullish market. Currently, BTC is widely traded, buying at a low price and selling at a high price. But will BTC trading be possible in the future, similar to daily trading? I think this is worth discussing... Smiley
When all Bitcoin are fully mined, miners will still exist because they are integral part of the Bitcoin network and without them, transaction will not exist. However they will charge their mining fee from the transaction sender and I think it will definitely be higher than what we are seeing now. Maybe there will be competition between miners which will bring the fee lower.

Investment is indeed for everyone. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency now because it requires little capital and can be made from anywhere provided there is internet service.

Bitcoin is even the most profitable investment option because holding it for many years, is right to say that Bitcoin is for everyone.

One reason why people trade by emotions (blind) is because of influence which also comes from a blind trader... There's a saying that "Empty Vessels Makes the Loudest Noise"..
A lot of educators actually influence people negatively in their trading journey because they make trading look so easy and a shortcut to affluence. They will hardly tell you the real truth about trading because they want you pay for their services. People who took these information and enter the market always pay heavily and thereafter learn the truth about trading which is that it is not easy.

Trading is only easy if the trader have been able develop a strong heart for himself and not carried away by any  hype from anyone.

Check bustadice, bustabit, cryptogames, bitvest, mintdice. Avoid freebitcoin.

Thank you, bustadice and bustabit it look promising after a quick check.
How much returns on investment in bustadice and bustabit when you checked, is it worth it? And the duration of investment, how long is it?

Maybe I'll be joining if it's really good.
I was about asking these questions before I saw your comment. If the OP made the post to collect data, it would have been good to present the information in detail to cover what the ROI and duration is for each of the casino. A table can even be used for such important information which I know many people will be interested considering that casino is a very profitable business.

Re: Can Bitcoin hold the leadership position for ever because the world changes?

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and have remained the most popular and accepted cryptocurrency in the world. I don't see the possibility of any new cryptocurrency beating that record, not even now that many governments and institutions are contemplating creating Bitcoin reserve, that simply shows that Bitcoin is approaching the level of gold in terms of acceptance.

Having a feeling of regret is normal and it is something everyone feels when they miss opportunity. I have regretted many things including not holding Bitcoin since I heard about it, I regretted not mining NOT, why I did not buy SHIB and many other things I did not do when I heard about them.

Will I dwell in regret or envy those who did not make these mistakes? The answer is a no, I have to grow up see what I can do with the opportunities I have now because there are still numerous opportunities out there and even buying Bitcoin now is one of them.

Re: BTC touch-level bets: Where?
by
justinlamode
on 21/07/2025, 10:17:06 UTC
On which prediction markets can I place bets that the Bitcoin price will touch a specific level within a given timeframe?

I'm looking to use this as a hedge alongside a futures position - placing a bet at the same level as my liquidation price, so that if I get liquidated, I can recover some of the loss through the winning bet.
Polymarket may not offer that option the way you put it, there are different ways they can list it which I'm not sure though. This type of trade is offered as binary option in many platforms. You can check TradeRush and Deriv which will give you exactly what you are looking for but you should do some research yourself before going ahead to make deposit.

Re: How do you see slots game?

I recently hit a crazy multiplier x5601 on Sweet Bonanza. Just a small bonus buy and ended up winning $400 after the x1000 bomb dropped and hit. I’ve been enjoying it since then, though I don’t spend a lot of hours playing.

But ever since that win, it kinda feels like I’m slowly giving the money back. Been losing around $10 a day for the past week. I’m still in profit, but honestly, I’m starting to lose the excitement. The game doesn’t feel the same anymore.
This seem familiar to my experience in the past, then I got a big multiplier and won few hundreds but I was reluctant to withdraw the money and felt like I could raise the money to $1k with a big multiplier. I set 100 auto spine for each round and gradually the money was depleting until I lost everything. From then on, I decided that I will be making withdrawals anytime I have a big win, leaving behind just a small amount which I will be happy to lose.

Taking profits I Bitcoin is done when the investor have met his target. It's not everyone that want hold forever, some sell at the peak of each market cycle and start accumulating again in the follow bear season. I don't use this method though but is is not that bad.

Re: Visited physical casinos to have real life experience and guess what?
by
justinlamode
on 20/07/2025, 09:39:09 UTC
What is your thoughts.. do you think both are the same or physical casinos are more transparent than the online casinos? Let discussion wisely.
I had visited several physical casinos just for the fun of it, I can say that it was harder to win in these physical casinos than the online casinos, probably they are calibrated to have a lower RTP because of the maintenance expenses since land-based casino have much more expenditures than the online casino.
You have a good point here and it correspond to what many people I know that play physical casino also say about the chances of winning. It is more difficult to win in physical casino than it is to win online casino. Apart from that, playing in physical casinos will make one lose a lot of bonuses such as daily, weekly and monthly rakebacks and even deposit bonuses are missed. That are just too many reasons that will discourage one from gambling in physical casinos and instead go for online casinos.

Re: Why does war always affect the price of Bitcoin
by
justinlamode
on 20/07/2025, 06:35:04 UTC
Is a simple analogy, if there is war, there will definitely be panic in the economy and people will be rushing to sell off the Bitcoin either to buy other things that they need or selling out of fear that the Price will drop because of the war, so for that during whatever war, there is always a market high volatilities because of the fuds that comes along with war.
This makes a lot of sense but where I'm having some challenge is that even when the war is between countries that are not big holders of Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin still fluctuate and sometimes dump so hard. I don't know how to corroborate this with what you have stated regarding while proce dumps during wars.

Re: Should religion speak on gambling for the whole country?
by
justinlamode
on 19/07/2025, 08:39:28 UTC
If I am not wrong Philippines is a democratic nation so they can't simply force a rule because it's considered as sin in a particular region but indirectly that's what the democracy is, what most people want will be chosen. To answer the question, the government should not intervene into something because majority don't want that while the leaders need their support so they will do things that can satisfy the belief system of most if not everyone, for them the number of votes matters more than what country is leading into.
Yes, the Philippines is a democratic country, and my people are free to speak about what they want. However, decisions can't be made too easily, and the opinion of any religious belief is granted. Investigation and legal rules are still needed before a conclusion is made about whether the government banned gambling or not. But I think the point here is that Catholic leaders just show help for the government to see the real sentiment of the people who fall into addiction. All they need is for the government to take action, not to ban gambling completely. Unless it was illegal.
So in summary gambling is not banned in the Philippines? I have met so many people from the Philippines in this forum and it seems some like slot games which means gambling may not be banned there after all.

What I understand in this topic is that religious leaders only interfere in matters that poses as a problem to the people they lead and as for gambling, the action of gambling addicts might prompt them to intervene. This may not be wrong because they care and will use that to discourage more people from gambling so they don't develop addiction. But morally, gambling is not bad.

Trading require that the individual take responsibility of his trading and not shift it to another. To succeed as a trader, you have to own the process because it is filled with psychological principles that cannot be transfer easily. This therefore means that trading due to the influence of another person is dangerous because it will lead to problems in which the individual would want to shift the blame.

I have seen different people play on physical casinos but I have not seen anyone win something big from it. On the other hand, I have had countless testimony of people who won big money from This might mean that physical casinos are more rigged than online casinos. Although I don't have substantial data to prove this, it's just mere observation.
