Absolutely agree. So many piece of shit coins on Yobit that were only created to be dumped as fast as possible and left for dead. This coin actually has an active dev that is sticking with the coin and constantly looking for ways to improve it. This is definitely a coin worth going long on.

4.0 miner is insane! I got 7950's hitting 67h/s and my 290's are hitting 85h/s!

Such an idiot to dump like that. I also would've bought them at a much better price. A couple good things did come out of it though, those coins are in stronger hands and the buy support has a much stronger foundation now. The next person who wants to dump like an idiot will have to dump twice as many to get it down to the same level.

Yes that was me. I couldn't figure out where the hack came from. I wasn't sure if it was something to do with Yobit or whether it was the GPU wallet I had tried to install. Somebody named 'lucky89' (something like that) told me they had the same windows wallet and that it was working just fine, so i started doing some google searching to try see if other people had lost coins on the exchange. It was only when I saw the dev's post on iBankCoin, that I started thinking that maybe the hacker had compromised the download link to the windows wallet.

Ha! Ha! Its ok, I don't blame you for being suspicious. A lot of those big buys in the last two days were mine. Unfortunately I missed the POW phase, as I only came across this thread recently. I was attempting to buy about 1 million GPU coins and leave them staking in my wallet. And yeah, I never normally post things on bitcointalk (I usually just read stuff), but I wanted to find out what went wrong and try save anyone else from the same fate. Im not crying any tears cos I have quite a lot of btc accumulated and losing 2btc worth of coins is annoying, but not end of the world for me. I spend a lot of time looking for smaller projects with potential and when I find one I will throw some money at it. I was in Yobit chat yesterday and after speaking to a couple guys about what could have gone wrong, I realised it was most likely the wallet download, so I didn't feel the need to file a support ticket. (I believe their support is not great anyways)

If that truly is the address then we got lucky, cos Canada just happens to be a place where I have loads of connections. I don't have much hope of getting the coins back, but at the very least we might be able to sell off some of their personal items to cover our costs.

Yes the 770000 were mine. Also 1btc as well. My Yobit account is the only one that doesn't have 2FA for withdrawals, which is why I suspect it was the only that got cleaned out.

Yup. Just what I thought. Only people (like myself) who tried to download the wallet in the last 24hrs will be affected.

No I don't have either of those wallets. I just saw your post about them now. Exactly the same thing happened to me. Woke up to a desktop background changed and all my coins on yobit stolen. The only wallet I downloaded in the last few days was the windows GPU wallet. I just checked the link again now and its still being flagged as a Trojan. Is it possible im being redirected to another download or something? Im not technical enough to work out whats going on exactly.

Guys can someone please check the windows wallet download? The browser download option is being flagged by my antivirus as a 'Trojan horse'. I just had all my coins stolen on yobit and im trying to figure out where it came from...

It was actually quite quick. I was away for a few days on a business trip and when I got back I saw that my two rigs (roughly 5000kh) had mined about 150000dge. That's when I first noticed that the auto payment wasn't working. So I tried to do a manual withdrawal and 24hrs later still no dodge! Now im stuck (like everyone else) with a message telling me "a manual request is already in progress" and its been nearly a week! Support messages continue to go unanswered so im guessing that's it for my coins...
