You are doing it wrong. Look at the marketcap NOT price for potential growth. That is what deems the potential growth not the price!

Re: Daily Airdrops - In one Topic!
by
jwrent34
on 26/02/2018, 21:41:02 UTC
So I have done a few airdrops and the profit of them vary vastly. Here are some pointers. Disregarding the time spent the free airdrops are the safest and most profitable (usually ERC20). Be wary of the ratio ones, particularly the very well known ones (like Litecoin cash) since you might even be at a loss if you buy straight in and a don't sell in time when the airdrop completes. Do NOT send donation airdrops to receive coins, you are far better at investing in a good ICO (less risky).

All in all it can be very profitable for small bag owners. Good luck and keep checking airdropalerts.com

Look Bitcoin will never die. When the price goes down the fees reduce and so on. It will always live out as a currency or a store of value.

Re: Are Airdrops Profitable?

Depends on how much money you have in crypto. I have joined some and gotten $700 and others and got $2. If you have low capital in crypto they can be very profitable, need to get lucky though. Most of them are simple (join telegram, tweet this). Worth doing a few a week.

Honestly, I don't think I will anytime soon. All be it my investments are low and after this thrashing, we took I'm hurting a bit. However, I could see the use of gaining enough capital to invest in less stressful markets, create cold incomes and end up not working. These are dreams.

Re: Deep Onion sleeping giant?!

I invested in Deep Onion first because I like the Tor project and they were very vocal about using the tech. They also have donated to the Tor project multiple times which is another plus. Yes, the airdrops are a large thing for Deep Onion and some dump every Friday. However, check out its development and the way the core team has mastered marketing it. This is much better than other coins that go only for development and expect users to flock to the project because of it.

Even what people say here I dont agree that Deep Onion is simply a hype coin. It does have some good privacy features built upon the well used and known TOR network and they constantly roll out new things. One that is a big difference from allot of coins is that the lead team understands how to market. To each his own though

You would have to be worth hacking if it is directed at you. Im not afraid of that, I am however afraid sometimes of hacks on exchanges when I have funds there.

Re: I have $20K USD to invest - What do YOU think i should go for?
by
jwrent34
on 23/01/2018, 20:47:05 UTC
25% on the high cap coins (BTC, ETH etc). 50% on medium cap coins (ARK, LISK, EOS, Waves etc) and 25% on low cap coins (NAV coin, Deep Onion, Pearl). You mimiize loss that way and you would expect some of your low cap to explode.

Something that most say but few follow is if that 20K is a lot of savings for you do not invest it. You will end up sweating over Blockfolio and Delta. If on the other hand your life would not be shattered if you lost it I wish you good luck Cheesy

Re: Best crypto to buy now?
by
jwrent34
on 18/01/2018, 11:30:13 UTC
Depends really, do you want to look back in a year and see large gains, i.e. long-term hold. Or will you constantly trade? If the first I would say pick 2 coins that have good tech, My long terms are Deep Onion and Nav coin. The first because of its good marketing and active community.  The latter because of the huge tech that it has along with a plan for Anonymous Dapps (or Valence as they call it), I expect this to be the anonymous Ethereum.

Now if you are going to trade regularly, ie every week and check your portfolio constantly I propose you pick 5 coins and split your investment along those lines. There are many good low market-cap coins like Oyster Pearl that look very promising even in the short run. Good luck and remember to diversify!

People are saying about Deep Onion airdrop and I must admit its cool. But there are a lot of good things in the project. My favourite is Deep Vault, a way to put files on a blockchain whose integrity at a later date can be checked.

I feel bad for people who lost funds on that. I find it very amusing that Bitconnect grew today, maybe people can recover some funds with the pump today.
