Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not?

At first I thought it was a good source of airdrop earnings. But as time went on, I realized it was a waste of time. I don't want to generalize, but most airdrops are worthless. And the projects that give you their coins are not worth $ 10 as they said in airdrop, but much less. In conclusion, it is not profitable.

Re: Newbie need help to understand the forum!!

Hi Everyone!! I am new here and this is the very first post can you can tell me how does this forum works and how does it pay people and also how much it pay as we know we can learn and earn from this forum at the same time so if you can help me it would be helpfull for me. Wink

As a new user, I think you should see things differently, not target the earnings on the forum. The forum, like any other forum, has the main role of informing readers about certain details, of forming a community passionate about a certain field, in our case of cryptocurrency.
The money can be obtained in the form of crypto, if you get a good rank on this forum and if you fulfill the tasks proposed by the project in which you register, in the Bounties (Altcoins) section.

Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member
by

Trust come from reputation. There are some legendary members with no reputation within the sphere of project management, bounty management, community management etc. Others may even have negative trust on the forum. I will only trust a legendary member who announces a project if the member meets all of the above.

You only have to trust yourself. The information you have accumulated over time on the crypto market must be the foundation in which you make a decision. You invest your money, so the decision must be yours. It is true that an announcement posted by a person with a rank on this forum by the Legendary Member, deserves more attention, but this does not guarantee the success of the project. Choosing the right project is the result of your knowledge.

Re: How to download an Ethereum wallet?

I'm confused, why would you prefer to run the full ethereum Node when there are many wallets that can sync with ethereum blockchain without downloading the huge blockchain files?

Maybe because he wants a safer wallet to protect his investments against the hack. Online browsing wallets, such as the ERC20 MEW or Metamask, are very vulnerable, so you can't keep your long-term investments there.
However, instead of occupying the entire hard drive with a desktop wallet, it would be recommended to have a hardware wallet and you have solved the problem.

Re: Blockchain technology in universities

I think that blockchain technology should be studied in universities. It's the right educational study rank because this technology is quite difficult. Although there are many other more complete and efficient databases than the blockchain, I think carefully studied, the blockchain can be developed by these future graduates and can revolutionize the world.

Re: Bitcoin after the year of 2140

I don't think there will be Bitcoin in 2140, because it will be fully exploited at some point. I believe that digital currencies will completely replace fiat currencies in the distant future, with the development of technology. But most likely there will be other digital currencies, not the ones that exist today. It's just a personal opinion based on imagination.

Re: What is the most trusted bitcoin company?

I think it is best to use a hardware wallet, because no software can be installed on this type of wallet, so these wallets are extremely secure and it is impossible to be hacked. Another very good option, but more complicated to use is paper wallet, but the one who opened this thread being a beginner, it is recommended to use a hardware wallet.

Re: Wanna Know how to trade?

Experience is the best asset to become a successful trader. At first, you can start trade with a small amount and try to research on that coin, research on other coin. You have to gather experience about cryptocurrencies, market price, market scenario, probability of profit and loss. After gathering experience, you can start trade on big amount. It needs courage and mind of taking risk of loss.
Experience is without a doubt important for a trader however using a small amount of money to trade and then trying to use that experience to trade with all your capital doesn't really translate very well, this is why you have so many people that are good at paper trading but when they have to trade for real they fail, and this is because they cannot deal with the pressure of trading the markets with a huge amount of money, in that case most of the experience they have accumulated with a small amount of capital will be useless and after they suffer an important setback they will be confused about what to do next, and being confused about what to do when the market is moving heavily in one direction is the cause of many mistakes for traders.

Normally a trader who is beginning to gain experience and has acquired enough information about the principle of operation of the crypto market, should face the pressure. After all, any trader must start from the principle that not everything goes well every time, and the price fluctuation can be unfavorable to him. But as patience is important, he should not sell when it is not the case, but only wait for an opportune moment.

Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko?

There seems to be nothing complicated in the coinmarketcap interface. Both platforms are easily accessible, but I'm more used to coinmarketcap. The information provided by the two platforms is sufficient to provide the necessary support to the person accessing them. Coingeko has the advantage of having more coins registered, but I use coinmarketcap because the details provided are better structured.

Re: Some questions on BTC
by

I have an electrum standalone wallet for storing my BTC. I have three questions

1. I read that never store all your coins in one wallet. So wts the solution? should I install two electrum standalone wallets and store my coins in both of them?

2. I have written seed on a paper to recover my BTC in case my computer got corrupt. What thing apart from seed should I backup to recover my wallet in case my system is corrupted.

3. Strong password is good enough to secure a wallet or I have to do something else also.

Thanks.

1. It is said that it is good not to store all the coins on one address of the wallet, because in case you are hacked, you will lose only the coins from that address. It is not a bad solution.

2. I do the same. I think it is a good solution, as long as it is kept in a safe place.

3. The more sophisticated it is and contains special characters, numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, it will be much harder for hackers to crack the password, but it is not 100% safe.

A better security of your investments and personal data is given by a hardware wallet. There are a variety of hardware wallets that are worth trying.
