Moin,

Hi,

can someone tell me how to do a wallet import for ETC, please? Seems like I am to stupid to find it.

There is no ETC in the altcoin wallet dropdown, ETH is not working obviously but cointracking "knows" ETC in the Dashboard.

Thanks in advance

Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.7 (Windows/Linux)

Hi,

I have some problems with one of two rigs since ~1-2Days. The hashrate shown by pool dropped significantly (~40-50%) while miner shows correct values. I recognized that many shares were not accepted. Also I have many pool switches lately on both rigs.

Any ideas what might be the problem? The other rig is working perfectly fine on same pool and standing in the same location. It's quite hot the last days but the cards are running fine at 60-70°C and 86-90%, 78W. The rig is running with Linux (the other one Win10), Claymore11.6 and via WLAN (the windows one too - 72Mbit/s, perfect connection).

The only thing I changed lately was reducing GPU3s Memclock by some Mhz because I got many incorrect shares.

I think i'm to busy for a real testing next week but I'll try an install to see if the remote thing is working.

I understand, I just wanted to let you know that I won't be able to confirm that the new version will work with remote software before I release it.  I'm working with another user to try to get that problem solved, so if you would just rather watch this thread for announcements, I'll be sure to include something in the top post when I can confirm it is working. In any case, thanks for trying the software and sorry you ran into that issue.

Hi,
do you have any idea how to fix that remote thing? Or do you have worked something out with the other guy?
I testet 1.6 a few days ago. It's working if the monitor is connected but not via remote. I think remote should work also if the monitor is connected and active while connecting remotely, unfortunately i don't have a second one here to plug it in as default. Tried to build a dummy plug today but either it didn't work or i burned the resistors  Roll Eyes

Hey,

this seems like a nice project. I just wanted to try it on one of my rigs but after installation and starting the tool all I get to see is a empty white Window.
.NET 4.7.1 or higher is installed and started as admin. Any ideas whats might gone wrong here?

Edit: Installed missing Windows updates but no change. Despite the visual part of the GUI the tool seems to work, there were miners loaded in background and i see at least one tooltip (online help) on mouse over. I have no idea why the complete gui stays blank...

Are you using a remote desktop app like TeamViewer?  If so, there is a known incompatibility with those apps and version 1.3 that I hope to address in 1.4. Another user saw a blank window while using the remote viewer, but the window displayed correctly when a monitor was hooked up to the same rig.  Apparently, FireFox also had the same problem on his rig.

Good to know, yes, I'm using TeamViewer. No Firefox installed, if i really need a browser on my rigs i'm using edge, which works. Possibly it's a TeamViewer issue and not directly your tool? I'm going to check this.
Maybe I'm trying your tool with a monitor connected but to use it as default i would need remote access. Looking forward to Version 1.4 Cheesy

Re: [DIY] auto-hard-reset mining rigs with Raspberry Pi
by

At first: Thanks for the nice work!
I got it running now, just need to figure out how to easily remote control the pi desktop itself. Since i'm a few thousand kilometers away the next weeks i would feel better having the possibility to restart/stop the reset tool manually. I don't like the theoretical possibility of getting my rigs rebooted continuously for weeks Wink

Concerning the telegram bot: You have to set your telegram username (i had to choose one at first) as admin name in the json file. Not the Bots admin name! Got the "not my master" message, too. After that you are able to ask the bot via /status, /ping Rig, /help, ... (see commands in telegram.go switch)

For my opinion a notification each time a rig reboots would be great, too. But anyways - great work so far!

I just messed with this for probably five hours (learning curve). I got it up and going now though, at least half, really awesome idea and it may or may not be "that difficult" for someone already experienced. It's a massive help here. So, thanks! I have been meaning to dive into a micro controller for a while, figured now is a good spot to start.

Now I just keep getting an error "Problem with the API key. Fix the problem or disable the TelegramBot from the config file" seems like the api key (around 32 letters/numbers) is correct to me..... I'll mess with it later

Ok, made it past that, now when I send a message from my phone to the bot it just says you're not my master. Skimming through the code it seems it checks something and says this before it can go further. So that's what I'm working on now, step by step pretty good learning experience.

Journey continues, bot now accepts commands, bot name, vs username changes, and everything else lol.

So, a question: Is telegram suppose to send me a message when a rig goes down? I looked through the code some more and I don't think it does currently, but I can't be sure lol

OK, Pushover notifications worked lol

Hi,

this looks nice, i'm going to test this with my rigs later this evening. Especially the possibility to set algo specific oc-settings looks great.

Since i have to deal with high electrical costs: Is it possibly to take the power usage into account or is the profitability calculation based on the powertarget set in the prerun.bat?

Edit: Also is there a possibility to not use hsrminer for neoscrypt? Instead i would like to use ccminer-alexis because i cant set this high virtual memory sizes on my small ssds...

1709 Windows Version?

Installing latest Windows-Updates and disabling the Audio Controller of the cards fixed that error for me.

Hey,

- correct RAM? Lost hours with my last rig because I bought registered DDR3 which is not supported by most boards.

- have you tried the monitor out of your GPU? The one in the full sized PCIe Slot.

- tried booting without/with one GPU only?

After reading this thread before ordering i wasn't sure if it's a good idea, but i think i got very lucky this time Wink

Which vendor did you purchase from, might we ask?  Kiss

I ordered at Saturn and Alternate, both german vendors.

Hey,

i just tried to test your miner but i got a error. Told me something like "not supported 16-bit application".
Which Windows 10 Version do you mean when talking from "Creators Update"? I've got 1703 installed which is called creators update but there is a fall creators update 1709, too.
I updated my Nvidia driver to 390.65 already.

Edit: Same error on regular and test version of the neoscrypt miner.

is nanopool also working if i am using adress only, because my exchande doesnt show an ID for me?

Normally it should work. You can set the ID yourself by using YOUR_WALLET.YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL as username. email is used as password.

So I'm trying to mine Monero on Nanopool but it's not accepting my address of payment id on the status page.  It keeps complaining that the length is invalid.  I got these addresses from Bittrex.

So,  not sure abort Bittrex. But on poloniex now adress and payment id is combined or How to say..

I started mining XMR via Nanopool and Poloniex today, too. And all I got from Poloniex is a 106 Digits Deposit Address, which seems to be accepted by Nanopool. If Nanopool accepts the address it should be ok and payout should work, right?

Also at first i didn'd set Workername and Email. Just changed the setting and Worker is shown now in Nanopool, but password/email isn't working and i can not set the payoutlimit. Am i not able to use the password because i startet mining to that address without a email and i wont be able to set the limit for that account? Or is something wrong with that address? I dont want to wait 1XMR/10Days to see that the payout isnt working...

Edit: Ok, setting payout worked now, after first shares with workername were confirmed.. Can somebody confirm, that the 106 digit address is ok?

Tell us the settings for mine with amd pls i have one rig amd and i would to use it for mining sigt

Honestly, don't bother. Mine ZEC if you are on AMD.
getting 113 mh/s on my 7x rx 470 4gb rig

150mhs with 8x 1060 6gb

What settings and what miner you are using. I can only hit 90ish with 7x 1060's. I am using CCMiner.

I'm getting ~130 with 5x1060 and 1x1070 - 1060s ~20 and 1070 ~30 @ -i 21, +150 Core, -500 Mem and 85% TDP with this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2070862.0 one. Compiled it myself, but there should be win versions by now.

Problem connecting 1060s via riser while 1070s are working
by
kainplan
on 11/07/2017, 17:36:42 UTC
Hi,

i have a big problem adding new cards to my rig. I hope you guys can help me.

My rig is working without problems with the following config:

- MSI Z97 PC Mate Board
- Zotac GTX1070 Mini via powered riser
- Asus GTX1070 via powered riser
- Win10 64bit

Now i'm trying to add 2 GTX1060 cards, one EVGA GTX1060 and one EVGA GTX1060SC but i can't get them to work with risers.

I found out that the cards are working if I connect them directly to the x16 port. With one 1060 in the x16 i reinstalled the driver and everything works fine.
If i try to connect the card via riser it's not recognized by the system. My 1070s on the other hand are working without any problems via risers, even after last driver reinstall.

Stuff i tried so far:
- Bios Update
- switching risers, power connections and pcie ports --> 1070s are working always, the 1060s are not even shown in system explorer or bios.
- reinstall Nvidia driver

Does anyone have another idea?
Could this be a board problem? But what makes be sure that another board will work?

Edit: Now i tried to plug in both 1060s into the x16 ports directly, which worked, and the 1070s via risers into the x1 ports, which worked for one of the two. So i get 3 cards running but not the fourth via riser. I suspect that i have to think about a new board. Unfortunately they are quite expensive at the moment...

Any help welcome
Greetings
Sven
