EVeryone it is perfectly fine to send from the online wallets on Kraken where you have access to the private key.
i think you are the only one user in this universe that has the access to the private key on Kraken lololol
You are correct there isnt a private key on Kraken either.
You can send from ANY exchange!! I was incorrect.
Each time someone registers an account on the Electroneum website, they create a unique wallet for them that has its own private key. This protects them and separates them from everyone else.
I stand corrected!!!
So it is you James that is the lawyer eh?
Thanks for setting me straight.
This is the first time I seen this done. Brilliant on the Devs part actually. Easier for the user, and safer!!
Atleast you admitted it. I think it would be worth deleting your posts as people reading through will be seriously confused.
Nice! Glad we could all understand each other!!
Good luck with your other projects 😆!

Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ Electroneum ⚡ Token Sale Sept 14th Mobile Mining Crypto Coin
What you can not do is send from an exchange where you dont have the private key, such as Bittrex.
This is not because there is anything wrong with Bittrex, it is just because Bittrex and other altcoin exchanges like it are not designed to be used as an online wallet.
You need to know the differerence between an online wallet and an altcoin exchange.
I think that you are confusing things....
That is a problem when you are buying a ETH tokens, because they send the tokens back to the address that you used and you don't own this address.
In this case we are talking about a COIN, and they will be hold at my.electroneum.com until you can transfer them to a Pager wallet or desktop wallet.
Basically, it is FINE to fund your account from an exchange.
Cheers MC
DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE NOOBS
THEY ARE NO FRIEND OF ELETRONEUM TO BE TRYING TO MISLEAD PEOPLE LIKE THIS
DO NOT SEND FROM EXCHANGE, IF YOU DO YOU ARE DOING SO AT THEIR OWN RISK
I don't understand why people are saying we won't get the coins if we use an exchange. You do see that they use the term coins and not tokens, right ?. I haven't seen anywhere that states that electroneum is an ECR20 token on the ethereum chain....
Hi Kajjeb,
Ignore what contraband has said, he's confused with life. I checked with the guys on the telegram channel and all is fine to deposit from an exchange. Just follow the instructions on the site after you login.
@contraband Might be worth removing your posts as you have created a ridiculous amount of confusion. Might be worth you reading up on online wallets etc...

UM NOOB, I MEAN LUCAS
NOPE
Thx IamLucas!
But I wasn't worried about me hahaha I learned to read when I was very young and college has giving the skills to acquire, process and understand new knowledge!!
I understand the difference between an ECR20 token based off a smart contract on the ether blockchain and a new coin, with it's separate chain and/or algorithm.
Guess contraband and the other crazies still need some time to understand!
People should just go.on the official channels and follow the official guidelines. If you noticed correctly, I quoted my info from the electroneum blog, not some random U NOOB shit.
Have a good day people!

Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ Electroneum ⚡ Token Sale Sept 14th Mobile Mining Crypto Coin
We are publishing the Electroneum app to the Play Store (Android) and App store (Apple iOS) tomorrow!
The app can be used with the same username and password as the ICO Crowdfunding Manager (https://my.electroneum.com)
Once youve created a user via the app or at https://my.electroneum.com you will have your first Electroneum wallet!
This will be the wallet that your initial Electroneum coins will be deposited in at the end of the ICO period (1st November 2017).
From there youll be able to send or receive Electroneum or (once we get listed on the major exchanges) trade your Electroneum for other digital currencies such as Bitcoin or physical currencies such as USD, GBP or Euros.
I don't understand why people are saying we won't get the coins if we use an exchange. You do see that they use the term coins and not tokens, right ?. I haven't seen anywhere that states that electroneum is an ECR20 token on the ethereum chain....

Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthText, World's first anonymous SMS Tx!
Has anyone received an explanation as to why cryptsy is still doing maintenance on their stealthcoin wallet? This astounds me, every other exchange has figured it out and many of them don't get close to the volume that cryptsy gets.
i am sure their wallet will be taking care of by this weekend. yes, some few lucky bastards got some FREE XST at cryptsy and sell right away at dirt cheap, i don't blame them.
It's obvious they had some internal accounting errors. They are probably reconciling their ledgers before they open the wallet.
From cryptsy in response to a ticket:
I do apologize for the delay, Currently Stealth coin wallet is down due to an issue, when the dev's resolve the issue we will check to see if this transaction needs to be resent again or not... Thank you for your patience
So, is there an issue with the wallet? Does know anything bout this?
I just bought BTCs and can't do anything with them!!
Way to go Cavirtex!!
Not sure if you've seen this, explains why it is down:
CAVIRTEX @CAVIRTEX
Bitcoin withdrawals have been disabled as a result of refilling our hot wallet. Will be fixed shortly. Apologies for the inconvenience. Ottawa, Ontario
What did you guys do to get so much activity around mooncoin? Did we change something? Rewards? Number of coins? Forks? Anything?
Probably the most important thing is, that the algo has reduced the amount of Mooncoins being rewarded to the miners. The distributed coins have been reduced drastically during the last weeks. A fork is planned, we're just working on the wallet. Furthermore we have a new website: http://mooncoin.rocks and a new blockchain-explorer: http://moonchain.net Another important thing is, that Mooncoin simply works fast. Send coins to Cryptsy via BTC: boring. Try it with Mooncoin: normally lightning fast.
Edit: But beware, at the moment Cryptsy's wallet is in maintenance. So you cannot send coins in or pull them out. But luckily we have enough other market-places to trade. See my signature.
Edit 2: Typos
Thank you sir

Hi everyone!
I transfered my mooncoin to cryptsy yesterday without knowing that the wallet was under maintenance for the last week....
Will I ever see my coins back?
The explorer does show that my coins have made it to my crypstsy deposit address...
I think we could benefit greatly from being part of this.
saw that too and also very excited about it! (even suggested that in the proposal above) I want to write to james (the developer of this and btcd among others) about it and not all coins can join to be in the core depending on what they offer so not sure about our chances right now, but at least can use the services of this network (eg anonymization), but before we can join other groups in any way we need to have our new coin running since it seems we will switch to a TiPS 2.0. So we really need to find the right developers now and set up our new structure in order to move forward. So please try to write to talented devs you know who might want to join, you can send them the proposal as posted above to explain things.
Hi! I'm one of the only ones that comments the threads in reddit I guess!!
First off, good job on the takeover. You guys seem serious
As for the issues we face, I would say that reducing the number of coins is priority number 1!!
Then, as any other coin, we need to secure the network. I just have a corrupted chain on my pc and It took me over an hour to figure out how to sync the chain again!!! no nodes were working... this is bad! I guess not a lot of people are currently mining TIPS so POS could be a way to go.
To secure the network and add future stability, something like the supernet would be awesome. We need to get more details from James but I say go for it!!!
