OP - can you link your virtual visa card to say, ApplePay on an iPhone? That way, it can be used in stores in person?

Re: THE RISE AND RISE OF MONERO

Alpha Bay wrote this on reddit

"We expect this to cause a spike in the price, so if you are an investor, now is the time to purchase Monero."

This is an obvious clue this thing is going to be manipulated either way, no doubt the two dark markets colluded together and bought up a bunch of Monero beforehand.

Definitely.  Why do you think it was ramping since May?  The rule is to buy the rumor, and sell the news.  But eventually the fundamentals will dominate.  If XMR denominates 10% of the AlphaBay transactions in December, the price should be at least $25 by New Year's Day.

How did you come to that conclusion that 10% implies $25?

Would like to know this as well

Bitwage Problem: No current Pending Payroll showing?

So i am fully verified by Bitwage and was provided a bank account to give to my employer. Today, is payday, but as of writing this, i do not seeing any hint of any processing. It says i have no Payroll History.

And at the top theres a button that says "Enter the amount of your Payroll Individual Bank Deposit:"
This indicates for me to type in an amount of which i believe is the amount of USD$ my paycheck is..which, i do not know because it was suppose to be deposited into the bank account Bitwage provided me.

Anyone who has used Bitwage before or currently does so, please chime in.

Interesting, this would be more appealing to international workers to avoid high fees for transferring money back to their families.
Yeah and thats actually the beauty of it. Anyone around the world including international workers, can be paid in Bitcoin i believe.
You should check out their website https://www.bitwage.com/

Haven't heard of it.
Don't know how long they have been around.
So what countries do they accept using them as a service since you need to provide them with a bank account to do the deposits to you?
Im surprised its not well-known in the community here. So, no matter where you are in the world, whether you are in the Philipines or the US, you can choose to have your local currency, be paid out into Bitcoin, or whatever other currency they offer. I believe they have 30+ international currencies?

I got verified this week and have provided my employer the bank account associated with my Bitwage account so i can have my direct deposits paid directly in Bitcoin. I have it set so 100% of my wage is paid in Bitcoin so when i need to pay for bills and whatnot, ill quickly cash out only the necessary amount.

How many of you use Bitwage, and what have your experience been like so far?
