I recently started to mine Ethereum a month ago, but I have a problem and I think maybe you can help me with an advice.
My RIG is an Intel Pentium with 4 PCI-E motherboard, 2x4GB RAM and SATA HDD.
It has 4 Sapphire RX 570 pulse 4 GB with Elpida mem [first is EDW4032BABG (Micron-Elpida) and second H5GC4H24AJR (SK Hynix)].
I have a 450W PSU for system and 600W modified Dell server PSU for the cards.
I have 4 risers: PCE164P-N07 PCI-E 1X TO 16X VER 007 NTH
I modified the BIOS in SRBPolaris with custom timing found on this forum:

I raised the mem freq to 2070 to 2120 (depending how much the card was able to handle).
I set the core to 1150 and the voltages to 850.
I am using Claymore 11.2 with only this in the start.bat:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool pool_adress -ewal wallet_adress -epsw x -dcri 6
Immediately when i start the miner it gives me some errors in hwmonitor (mostly under 10 errors), but after this it gives me none.
My rig runs at 124.9mh and i never had a single rejected share!
But my problem is this: from time to tine (from 1 to 7 days), the rig either restarts or freezes (simply the desktop remains like it is and i can’t do nothing, even moving the mouse).
Did I undervolt it too much? Did I raised the mem freq to much? It is possible to be the PSU for the system (a no-name 450W cheap one, but worked good before on my desktop)? Are there the risers? What can i do? I would be grateful for any advice!

PS: Can I change something to improve performance? (now that I stopped the RIG i will put the latest Claymore version)
PS2: Can I dualmine (ETH+DEC) with not risking to burn the PSUs? How can I know the power consumption if i don't have a plug power meter?

I recently got my first video card, a  Radeon Sapphire RX 570 pulse 4GB. It's the fist time I'm modding a bios and I could use some help to optimise my card. I decided to mine Monero, and the only thig I know about mining is from Mattthev's tutorials about Monero mining and bios modding.
GPU-Z shows Elpida memory, and I modified the timings in SRBPolaris only for Micon-Elpida (the card has also SK Hynix memory). First i tried the timing recommended by Eliovp and Mattthev and after that I used a timing optimised by laik2, that Eliovp said is more stable. I c/p it to 1500, 1625, 1750 and 2000.
The timings are:

The other modifications I made are:
- GPU frequency from 1284 to 1300 MHz
- MEM frequency from 1750 to 1900 MHz (more gave me memory errors)
- Voltages from 1000 down to 950 Mv
I am using Win 10 with blockchain drivers.
After modding I have a constant 780H/s in XMR-STAK-AMD 1.4.0 Official release, with few memory errors.
Can I get more H/s from my card? If so, can you please help me with some sugestions? Power consumption is not an issue. I want maximum performance!

I'm at my first attempt of building a small rig and I need your help.
I have to choose between these two graphic cards:
Sapphire Radeon RX 570 Pulse 4GB GDDR5 256bit 11266-04-20g
and
Gigabyte Radeon RX 570 Gaming 4GB GDDR5 256bit gv-rx570gaming-4gd
Which of them is better on hashrate, stability etc ?
What kind of memory do they have? Most say that they both have hynix mem, but i want to make sure

thanks for the advice. these are the only cards i found available. I'll try to find nitros withot hynix mem. can u recomand me some cards, please? but not so expensive like vega...

I'm building my first rig for mining monero. i started mining after i discovered this thread. congrats Mattthev for the tutorial. i am using XMR-STAK 2.1 Github - Official to mine whith my laptop...only to see how this works. Now i want to buy some video cards to build a rig, but i am not decided. i have to choose between 3 cards:

1. Sapphire AMD Radeon RX470 MINING QUAD UEFI 4GB (i read this one has samsung memory)
2. XFX RX 470 8GB
3. Sapphire Radeon RX 570 NITRO+ 8GB

i am pretty sure that i am going to overclock them...
Can you put them in the order starting with the best? and, if it's not to much, can you tell me what is the maximum hash rate for each one, whit standard bios and moded one?
