The market moves in cycles and no particular cycle will last forever. Before now there was a bear market that lasted for months and now the bulls are here. They will last for their own period and the bears will be back. The cycle keeps  going on and on.

For litecoin to reach over five thousand dollars this year, it will have to do a 25x on the current price.  I think that will be a very difficult task to accomplish not only for litecoin but for any coin.  I would not bet on this happening.

I don't think so we just went down again and I can't really tell the cause of recent dip in the market. But I am hopeful market will soon bounce back come the month of June and July. So let's hope for the best.

I don’t think we need to wait 2 years more to see new flight to the moon. Crypto market is not stable, you can see it. There will be always ups and downs. After every growing there will be correction, price is moving as waves. As longer this correction will take time as more powerful growth we will see.

If you capable to wait long enough you can buy altcoins already that you trust in. When the market will rise again most of them will have rise also in prices. I would prefer to buy some altcoins that have real usage: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, Bitshares, Steem

i  doubt for these coins to beat bitcoin. Those other altcoins who came earlier than them still has not beat the bitcoin, how much more for there newborn coins. I do not think there is any altcoin will beat the bitcoin. Many have tried, but no one surpassed the bitcoin and no one will.
