Pundi is not so complicated as GoldMint but can you tell me what are PXS tokens in simple words? Why will they be demandable later?

PXS is Pundi X’s gas

In order for shops, cafes and convenience stores to connect to the ecosystem and offer sales of cryptocurrency and other goods, developers and sellers will use PXS tokens as gas fees.

Participating in this ICO allows you to buy PXS at the lowest cost. After ICO, token holders will receive additional PXS (proof-of-stake), every month for three years. 40% extra tokens will be distributed in the 1st year.

Is it possible somehow to test Pundi X POS terminal now or it is only a beta version and doesn't exist?

You can test it. If you contribute to Pundi X more then 30 ETH or 1.5BTC, you will get a POS terminal.

They will send you POS terminal as a gift within 45 days after the end of ICO.

But that isn't exactly what I understand by the word "testing". Testing means getting to try out something for free. Sending more than 30 ETH to test something something sounds weird.

I believe that a POS terminal is a quite expensive gadget itself, isn't it?

I like the airdrop feature of Pundi. Why have they chosen such an interesting scheme?

Pundi X says: It reduces the risk of token's falling at the exchanges Wink

Rather a smart move to cope with the fluctuations after listing. Do you know what are the exact exchanges for PXS token to be listed?

how does help to keep the rate?

Geographically, this is a great emerging market. Frankly, I believe in a successful crypto adoption their more than in the US and Europe.

With their initial outreach in Indonesia, they intend to expand into Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan and other regional markets simultaneously. Their plan is to cover South East Asia within three years. At the same time they will explore other parts of Asia, the Americas and Europe using their open source and open specification for adoption of their protocol. In this way they can achieve our objectives in sales of cryptocurrency; usage of cryptocurrency; and growth of cryptocurrency.

Re: China Eyes A State-Owned Cryptocurrency
by

on 16/10/2017, 04:52:51 UTC
What happened
Early September, China banned ICOs and cryptocurrencies. A month later, Chinese official Yao Qian reportedly called for a state-owned digital currency.

That’s weird. Isn’t it against the law?
Looks like it’s not. Banning ICOs and bitcoins under the flags of protecting people from scam risks, Chinese government was in fact clearing up the space for a state-issued alternative.

What now?
Now Yao Qian – who is the Director of the Digital Currency Research Institute under the People's Bank of China – claims that a state digital currency will help to stabilize domestic fiat. Sure, that could happen. But not for long – knowing the Chinese market, cryptocurrency has all chances to completely replace yuan.

What can we learn from it
⚙️   China will have not only its own internet, but its own digital currency. And the global cryptomarket loses 1.3B users.
⚙️   Chinese approach is an example of an concept turnaround – we all thought that cryptocurrencies were meant to decentralize the world and economy…
⚙️   The time of fiat is ending – and governments have to create new formats for interaction.

Russia Plans to Beat China To State-Owned Cryptocurrency?
by
kassia
on 16/10/2017, 04:50:54 UTC
What happened?
According to Russian media, Russia’s president Vladimir Putin has decided that Russia should launch cryptoruble – a state-owned cryptocurrency. The decision was allegedly announced by Nickolay Nikiforov, the country’s minister of telecom and mass communications.
https://goo.gl/oULZAR

Wait, wasn’t that about China?
You have a good eye! A few days earlier, a Chinese official Yao Qian reportedly called for a state-owned digital currency as well. Looks that both countries are now in a race for a state-controlled cryptocurrency.

Why is it important?
Russia is almost as hard on crypto market as China. Although the country hasn’t officially banned ICOs and cryptocurrencies, Russia’s officials including Putin himself do call for crypto regulation.

What’s so special about cryptoruble anyway?
Limited emission. Closed distribution. No option to mine it. And, most likely, the taxation model equal to income tax.

Hello community,
There are plenty lists with opinion leaders links, but almost zero on how to conduct an ICO.
I understand that those who are running it now have no time to share their knowledge. But those who finished might give us a hand.
It's hard to find useful information. I usually find some tips buried among endless topics here, and I also found a very new but useful Telegram channel https://t.me/yoken
Please share your sources, I'll add new ones here e as soon as I find them.

[2017-10-10] NEWS. Indian Summer: Car Sharing Startup Adopted Bitcoin Ahead of U
by
kassia
on 10/10/2017, 08:00:03 UTC
Drivezy, an Indian car sharing startup backed by Y Combinator, raised $10M investment – and used a part of it to start accepting bitcoins.

Why is it important?
Well, we kinda expected such move from a bigger players like Zipcar – or even Uber or Lyft. But it seems like a startup with operations in just 4 Indian cities can beat them to crypto market. The funny thing is that Drivezy (which, of course, has ICO in the pipeline) is partly funded by Japanese and American firms.

Does that mean that Uber is off the picture?
Not quite yet. In August, Uber picked up a new CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, who is a big Bitcoin fan. Under his rule, Expedia started accepting Bitcoins. It just looks like that he has more on his shoulders now than cryptocurrency trials.
