Actually it isn’t Uncle Stu’s money that would be interesting, it’s  Stu’s Uncle’s money that needs to be attached. That would be enough to make everyone directly hurt whole. And btw don’t we all, at least a little bit, hope Joshie’s whole hurts?

I expect Garbonzo to get a five year sentence -- he'd spend 3 in jail and two in halfway/parole setting. (Although I still hope for a 15 to 20 year stretch for him.)
That is of course much less than he deserves but we can always hope he runs afoul of even nastier felons while locked up.  Shocked
And on the bright side he will always be a felon, who can't own a gun or vote;
...and he will either have to work for himself, his "uncle"  whom he tried to rat on, or take a job such as washing dishes or a "would you like fries with that" position.
The wheels of justice grind slowly but they grind fine.  Grin

Gotta say, staying temporarily in central FL myself (Wildwood), I think a conditioned third party data center would probably be your best option for a larger set up.
Just running a couple of S7's at my brothers place last summer I had to come up with a Rube Goldberg setup -- took the doors off of an older mini fridge and put it in a well insulated closet with the miners, along with a butt load of fans and a small dehumidifier. Worked out pretty well, but at the time I was running at a calculated loss of about 15% due to power costs ($0.10 per kWh at the time).
I could only justify mining due to my unwavering faith that BTC would climb well above $400 at some not to distant future point. (And yep it suuure did, wish I had held on to more than I did).
When it gets to be 97 degrees and 75% humidity everyday cooling becomes a very expensive proposition for mining rigs.

Just wanted to thank truckinusa for posting the info about the victims list etc.  Grin

I never got a letter (I had opted out of the GAWsuit at the last minute on the advice an attorney) and only have internet sporadically now that I am homeless (unemployed, messy divorce etc.)
I will be calling the agent in charge of the investigation this week.
Hey if nothing else I get to tell my tale of woe and how the GAW scam contributed to it to someone that is paid to listen.

When we list losses I wonder if we can put them in terms of current Btc prices?
That would make my loss to the scam more like $30K rather than the $3K it was at the time (which came mostly from the rigged trading system), I'll have to ask.

One final thought; Homer Garbanzo had Better do jail time, preferably in excess of five years, but even a year would be very satisfying to his victims.
I wonder if there are any biker gangs that lost money in crypto? Hopefully Joshy will find out.

Haven't checked in here in a long time so a few thoughts:
First, thanks Paul R. you did help me and a few others I know to decide to get out of the last piece of our paycrap whle it was still trading (we got out of our pngs early enough to break even on those  - with the exception of large losses from 'mistake' sales that were instantly reclaimed by GAW - but lost a good bit by hanging on to a portion of our point-conversion paycrap coins).
Second, Garza is on his way to jail, there is no doubt of that, the SEC suit is just the first to be filed, criminal charges will follow - and the list of people included will be much, much longer.
Third, Allan S. is not Garza, I don't know what relationship he has, if any, to Adam but he is a real person that has worked in IT consulting for some time. I had him checked out when I was intending to join the GAW lawsuit he was putting together. On the advice of my attorney I did not join that suit or submit any substantial info to them.
Following the federal and criminal trials there will be a wealth of info available for individuals and for possible class actions against GAW et al. We know that Josh and Stu breached the corp wall and thus should be personally liable, however as far as I can find we do not know yet the full extent of the involvement and knowledge of Stu's firm (Cantor Fitzgerald). If there is enough evidence brought to light to directly implicate the firm there will be enough assets available for serius law suits to pursue. Anyone considering a suit should (in my non-attorney opinion) wait till the govenment is finished (let them do the work for us) before filing any civil actions.
As for suchmoon, I honestly haven't seen anything throughout this entire thing to make me believe that he is either a hero or a villain.
My penultimate comment;  Bitpop, you made me laugh from day one of this mess. So thanks for that, even though you did get a bit too nasty with people now and then. (IMO).
Finally anyone that thinks, or thought that paycoin had or has any hope of recovery after GAW should find a competent individual to handle your financial matters and other major decisions before a court does it for you.

Looking forward to meeting lots of crypto folks at the GAW trials, in the mean time remember, it is Not too late rebuild crypto assets (some of us are still trying to recover from last years scams) bitcoin is Still in its infancy and blockchain technology is still being explored.
Within ten years bitcoin Will change the world.
That is all, sorry for the wall of text folks. Happy holidays. Smiley

41 hours with no blocks, ouch. Quite the drought, anyone know if we have ever gone 50 hours with no blocks?
Nevermind, lacing up my Block-Rain dancing shoes now.
Hmm, wonder if we can get 3 blocks per hour for a while?  Smiley

Edit: Someone else needs to try the rain dance, mine isn't working. It has now been over 48 hours since the pool hit a block. This is the longest dry spell I can remember.

wait wait wait, there's no way in hell anyone's going to bel- 10 UPVOTES?!

Managing all those sockpuppets must be a full time job. I don't think he even knows what a Virtual Machine or a separate browser profile is, so probably has a dozen phones/tablets/laptops laying around.

Thanks for that mental image. I actually laughed out loud reading that.
Although I think he would need at least fifty of his burner phones for all his fake accounts.

I am going to start a petition to the Corrections Dept. to try to get Carmello the cell right next to Josh's.

Since Vidala is "in the UK" he will probably be sent to that penal colony down under . . . oh wait.

Just to be clear. Homero and the Power company are indeed in a dispute over "fee structure". The power company wants a structure where he pays the fees. He wants a structure where they pay him to crowd fund payment of the fees.

Ths whole GAW, Garbanzo drama has gone from infuriating, sad and weird to downright bizzare and pathetic. Which I guess is fitting since that is an apt description of everyone's favorite psychopath, Homo Jo Garbonzo.

(Since this is the net and snarkiness sometimes is misinterpreted; the first sentence above is an example of allegorical sarcasm ).

Accidentally mined quite a few of these DOX (ipoMiner put it up as a scrypt override coin).
Came here, saw the term "FUD" in this thread, immediately sold all my DOX.
Glad I checked BCT.

Just my take.
I haven't had any large problems with Cryptsy (yes I knew about their "stealth staking" of customer coins but just factored that into cost of their exchange) other than a few small instances of coins vanishing, however I can not have anything to do with that enterprise until they delist XPY.
I know removing my alt coins isn't going to hurt them but if we all stop using cryptsy until XPY is delisted it would probably make enough of an impression to wake Vern up.

While not important, just for clarity I would like to point out that FUD is a term that has been around for nearly 30 years, since the old BBS days.
It seems that a certain imbecile clown heard the term last year and started using it but had to make up a new  non-obscene meaning for Fucking Useless Drivel to meet his own publicly stated rules.

FUD = Fucking Useless Drivel

Lies  = Everything a Homer says

Josh Garza ‏@gawceo

I will stand behind my promises. PayBase will honor every Paycoin at $20 #xpy http://blog.paybase.com/paybase-honors-20-paycoin/ …

I saw this still up on his feed and laughed out loud.

In all fairness I will quote my orig post here too:

Hellsgremlin im happy youve seen that something is fishy with Mr. Garza and cool that you got something out of it. definitely figure out the tax stuff tho

but what about the people who didnt get to spend their xpy at that rate??  Huh

Forget paying the tax man his cut. I wouldn't spend anything on coinstand for fear of being hit with a charge of accepting stolen goods. Remember even if a product is legally purchased, if it is done with stolen money it is still receiving stolen goods under the law.

While I am still reading through the recent data dumps, one thing has become quite clear.
Garza is utterly clueless about what is and is not legal. both in private communications and in recent forum posts he openly admits to both committing and conspiring to commit crimes. It is almost unbelievable.
His overinvested (stuck) hashtards have become vicious rabid shills willing to try just about anything to attempt to revive the price of their dying crap coin.
Can Homero really be stupid enough to believe that hiding out in Dubai will protect him just because the US does not have an extradition treaty in place? He obviously has no idea how justice works in that part of the world.

These are now well known crypto definitions but I expect them to become widely used Soon(tm).

Garza'd = Fucked over and shit on.

Paycoin'd = Conned, usually blatantly so.

Bingo, that's why it's not at 1 cent yet. I think there are a few other people out there following the same perverse logic. Don't forget, every week or 2 it gets cheaper so why buy today?

I've been trading a Long time and speculators don't put in hard floors like this.  This is real money at work.

As for me, I've bought all I can afford to lose so I'm gonna wait and watch and then decide on my next move.  The good news is that if I'm right - it should happen soon; one, maybe two weeks by the looks of the latest moves.

Cheers!

You "Bought" XPY, ROFL. You have only ever sold XPY. Of course your fleecing site rakes it in so you need to dump daily . . . just like someone else of ill repute.
