****IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT****

Well that's fair enough.
Shares sent to the exchange.
Very reassuring to see proactive developments of this nature & the Banx team actively addressing the wallet "issues" identified earlier in the thread.

Having thought about it a bit, I don't really see any reason why I need to take my shares out of Banx.io anyway, I'm in it for the long haul and the dividend payout Smiley

Thanks Mark & the Banx team

I agree

Most of us who are in BANX seriously are in it for the long haul, and having the Dev team pull everything in to fix wallet issues and upgrades to the existing wallet technology is great to see.

Good stuff dev team

Keep up the great work Smiley

Hey everyone

I've recently flown over to the UK from Asia and I am meeting Mark tomorrow to discuss potential investors and all stuff BANX.

If Anyone has any suggestions, ideas or general questions, send them to me in here or in the BANX Forum http://www.banxforum.com/index.php?action=post;board=4.0 and I will make sure that Mark gets to hear what people are suggesting or wanting to know.

I will be meeting him around midday UK time, so get anything to me before then please.

Wink

Hey Banx team, quick technical question.
Every time I try to send Banx, the wallet crashes and doesn't send.
Wallet is encrypted, password is correct.
Have installed a fresh wallet on a completely different PC, replaced the wallet.dat, and same again, try to send, enter password, wallet crashes.
This is on Windows.
Any ideas please?

I had a windows wallet problem, and got these instructions from one of the dev guys:
backed up the wallet.dat,
installed the latest version from here http://banxshares.com/get-started/
then open your user folder highlight your name at the top and put this into the bar at the top:
%appdata%\Banx
then delete:
blocks
chainstate
database
.lock
db.log
debug.log
***********but be VERY careful not to delete wallet.dat ************

then make a file in that folder called banx.conf and put this into it:
addnode=188.226.203.10
addnode=188.226.199.118
addnode=107.170.89.158
addnode=107.170.17.7
addnode=128.199.219.57
addnode=128.199.222.178
addnode=95.85.17.75

Windows will try and name the file banx.conf.txt  but you won’t see the .txt so it’s important that you have the ‘hide file extensions’ option unchecked in views under folder options in the control panel.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I followed these instructions and it sorted my problem

Good Luck Wink
Thanks mate worked a treat.
The wait for the re-sync seemed like the longest time ever ! *phew*

Great stuff, glad it worked Smiley

Recieved my dividend payments today. Very immpressed with the payouts for such an early stage in the business. Ill be compounding this payment straight back in as im very confident that banx is going places.
Thanks banx team for your hard work getting these EARLY payments done. Its a breath of fresh air this project to the crypto community.

Hear, Hear.
well done to the dev team for all their hard work on these payouts, top stuff Wink

4. That is a question for Mark. We are currently in a transition period with our mining as we are moving our mining operation outside of the UK to increase our profit margin due to the increased VAT, electricity and site rental costs over here.

Hi, thanks I'll wait for that answer before I make any further decisions. Is he going to answer it here in the forum?

I'm very interested in this. I do have reservations though because both bitcoin and litecoin are hovering around YTD lows. Litecoin has dropped from $23 down to $3.50 since the beginning of 2014.

Someone said that the assumption in this was that bitcoin would be at $500 but it's down below $330. Is it still profitable for you at these levels?

On banxmint you've got a 1 bitcoin coin at $651.59 which doesn't inspire confidence that you're going to sell many. If you do sell a lot then you've got a great profit margin there!

Hi Merribourne

Just to jump in on the banxmint coin confidence issue, I recently attended the Bitcoin Conference 2014 Thailand in Bangkok http://bitcoin2014.in.th/

I happened to take along my 2 physical BANXmint 1BTC and 1LTC coins and was amazed at the interest and potential uptake that I received when I showed them off. I was quickly surrounded by a large group of people, probably 60% of them Thai nationals but there were also Chinese, Canadian, French, American and German nationals, all intrigued at what I had and wanting to hold the coins whilst bombarding me with many questions about them. The Thais were especially upbeat, every single one of them saying that they had seen them on the TV, but none of them had ever seen a physical BTC or LTC in real life, and were genuinely really excited to have one in their hands. So from experience I know for sure that there is a big market out there in Asia for physical coins, it just needs marketing correctly which I am hoping that Mark, Simon and Myself can do in the very near future.

Out of interest does anybody know anything about Xtreme Miners?
They claim to have 3 machines coming out in Jan/Feb 2014? 2 of them are listed as faster, cheaper, and using less power than the Neptune, whats the catch?  or is this a scam? Please does anybody have any hard facts or advice about Xtreme Miners machines?
Any advice most appreciated.

Hey guys, me and some friends are currently pooling a lot of $ to start accuring machines to start mining crypto currencies.
Researching everything is proving a real headache, one forum may say something is great, yet another site will say its a scam. We have already ordered a Neptune, but does anybody know anything about these Xtreme Miners, allegedly they will have 3 machines coming out in jan/feb? 2 of them look faster, cheaper, and use less power than the neptune, does anyone know what is the catch?

any advice greatly appreciated.
