The only thing that can save paypal now is for them to start accepting bitcoin. My bet is that will introduce some type of paypalcoin, which will run on ethereum or tron

The main reason they choose a bank is because they have physical presence. You can visit the bank and ask for help, with bitcoin you are your own bank

There is way too much infrastructure for bitcoin to fail. It is becomingna national currency in venezuela and when other economies fail they too will switch to bitcoin as their saviour

It's perfectly safe if you rebuild it again. Factory reset is likely to be safe but there is a chance of a hidden trojan. Format the harddrive and rebuild it yourself to be sure

It's probably due to the extra work involved in converting them into fiat. As bitcoin becomes more easier to spend more merchants will accept it so they won't have to worry about the conversion

When bitcoin becomes too dominant the altcoin market falls which is bad overall as good alts like ethereum, eos, will also crash. 50% is just about right, if it gets lower then it's use as digital gold might waiver

They are kind of right in that regular joe public is always reading about these hacks and scams which puts people off from using it. Banks are easier to use for now, but times are changing so regulation will help improve trust and reduce scams

Bitcoin is the safest investment, when it starts to move all the altcoins bleed. Only now it is alt season so go with alts now, but you will see what happens a few months down the line
