Who said it wouldn't be?! This is just a market break. After this break the market will be back on its feet making many of us happy again. Its all about being positive in the middle of all the negativities. The light in the vast darkness will prevail...

Re: You can start all over again

Crypto sphere is like a hell to some now,but i want to encourage everyone caught up in the pool of loss that you can start all over again. The level of dip we’ve had in this bear market has cost a lot of people almost everything they have worked for.I know many are at the point of giving up and turning their back on crypto sphere, believe me you can start all over again. The ability to rise when you fall is all you need to get back on your feet again. In life, every challenges comes with opportunity. If you can search deep, even in this bear market, crypto sphere is full of opportunity that can get you back on your feet,it is only a matter of time.I believe you can start all over again.
It's good to know some still have some optimism despite of this market bloodbath. It is true that many are now hanging on a thread because of their losses. But losses doesn't mean it's the end. We can always regain those losses as long as we have the will and the right mindset to do so. As OP mentioned, we can always start over again. This market is just a tool. We make the choices. We make the decisions. Any result is the outcome of our choices and decisions. Bottom line, we can always make things straight.

The power of $6.8

In mid 2017 to early 2018, a lot of persons were complaining about how high the bitcoin price is, that it too late for them for join the race, now price is declining and people are still complaining!

Let me tell you a story

Back then in college (2014) I was so poor, and yet I know about bitcoin, but I was facing financial challenges, so I could not invest in bitcoin, even when I don't have any bitcoin to trade, I was always in the market!

A day came when my kid brother sent me some money worth approximately $9, from the $9, I invested $6.8 invested into  bitcoin, during this period, the bitcoin price declined from $700-$200+!
I started trading cryptocurrency with $6.8 with some satoshis I accumulated from faucets.
Today, the $6.8 i invested in bitcoin has given me a new life and a new house of my own.

Don't complain about the current market price, there's nothing you or anyone can do about it, utilize the benefits around it, people are making thousands if not millions of dollars from this bloodbath.

In reality, it is not the market condition that will determine the fate or success of each individual. It is the mindset that we have which will determine if we will succeed no matter what condition the market is in. It is the ability to see opportunities in negative situations and taking advantage of them. Many of us could not think outside the box. We tend to get isolated in situations we could not contain and refuse to do anything about it. It's laziness in the head! So we should think straight and don't let this crash burry us in despair!

Re: Why is bitcoin reduced price an opportunity to buy?
by
kendra1107

Bitcoin is the most successful cryptocurrency in the market. And it has the potential to go beyond its ATH last January despite of the crash. Bitcoin is now at an 80% level price fall and this poses an opportunity to purchase a currency with great return potential. When ATH happened, many wished that Bitcoin would fall back to a 2k or 3k level so they could purchase more BTC's! When that happened just a few days back..many were complaining. Funny right?

Re: Are hardware wallets to store your altcoins too expensive?

$80 to a $100 is not that expensive literally. But it is to many. Though will price matter considering the potential bigger losses we can incur if we don't do this security measure? I don't think so. We should protect our investments..and hardware wallets are the best ways to do that.

Re: Is crypto a danger or an opportunity?
by
kendra1107
on 28/11/2018, 23:56:01 UTC
Crypto has given a lot of changes to our modern world and its potential is still full to be opened in the whole way. There are a lot of tasks of crypto like saving of privacy, giving new working places and so on. But is it right to consider that crypto will replace usual economics because it has more advantages and potential for the future? I support crypto but I have some doubts about its possible negative future because it could be the danger for some countries that have some serious problems in this sphere.
Crypto is more of an opportunity really because it gives us that chance to earn something on the side, or even something full time as a source of income. Crypto has opened a door of opportunity for many to make a decent earning. Though crypto was not originally created for this purpose, it has evolved into such.

Crypto is good, but it does pose as a threat to the extinction of fiat. The US$ is now clouded by inflation which is bad news. I wouldn't be surprised if crypto actually takes over in the not so far future.

Re: Decentralized Vs Centralized Exchanges
by
kendra1107
on 28/11/2018, 22:23:13 UTC
Decentralized exchanges are certainly a future of cryptocurrency trading (along with atomic swaps), but they are not perfect. Recently, one of the most popular decentralized exchanges was hacked. However, it doesn't discourage me from trying them out. Bisq seems to be the most reasonable choice right now. Users prefer to use exchanges which are easy to use and support a huge variety of altcoins and tokens. Decentralized exchanges are still not completely noob friendly thus they won't gain a lot of attention in the coming months.
McAfee himself prefers decentralized exchanges due to their nature. No one controls these exchanges unlike those which are centralized. You are correct that they are not perfect..nothing is really. DEX are not hack-free. But one incident doesn't generalize anything.

Re: ONLY A FEW PEOPLE WITH THE MOST BITCOIN CONTROL THE MARKET
by
kendra1107
on 27/11/2018, 23:41:43 UTC
I believe the crypto market, is heavily manipulated, I'm of the opinion that only a few very powerful people or government, now HODL the most Bitcoin, And are responsible for where the price goes and as a result the entire market is under choas. Is this even possible? I think it is, what's your own opinion?
Manipulation is indeed in the Bitcoin scene. From the governments, banks, private institutions, and the like which are controlled by the Illuminati (known to be connected to the Rothschild's) it is undoubtedly possible that the market is highly manipulated. Having a massive amount of Bitcoin will certainly make major price movements. This is not a speculation. Common sense tells me this is what's going on..

Re: The most profitable bounty tasks
by
kendra1107
on 27/11/2018, 23:11:13 UTC
Hey guys, when you are doing a bounty program, which tasks do you usually do? Facebook and Twitter? My favourite task is a Youtube video review. However I think Bitcointalk signature is the most profitable. Do you agree with me?
Translation is usually the most profitable. But it is so difficult to get accepted because of the tight competition among applicants. And there is a very small chance for starters to get accepted especially when you are competing with those who have a long list of past works. Personally, I have given up on translations. I focus more on signature today.

Re: The Spirit of Bounty Hunting
by
kendra1107
on 26/11/2018, 23:16:39 UTC
For you to succeed as a bounty hunter, you must keep up with the followimg spirit:

1. Spirit of Positivity
When others are thinking it is over, always tell yourself that you have just started writing your own success story in this space, notwithstanding your achievements or losses so far.

2. Spirit of Patience
To succeed, you must be able to wait to get the best from the crypto space. Never be in a haste to sell and never be in a haste to promote just any project. Take your time to study every circumstance and make good use of it.

3. Spirit of Wisdom
You must be wise in your dealings. Know when to sell when not to, even while being patient.
Also know this, you are not here to promote and  sell alone, you can also buy and make good profit from the coin you have bought.
Being a bounty hunter is always an opportunity for you to be able to recognise good coin and understand such coin so well than any other person.
Apply what you know to get what you want and what is best for you.

4. Spirit of perseverance
As a bounty hunter, you should not allow yourself to get tired or go weary, because of the present situation of things. Always look beyond the present time. Look into what the future hold.

5. Spirit of Vigilance
What ever project you are participating in, while working to promote the project in your own sincerity, you must be watchful over cheaters, who steal other people's work and reap them of their reward.
You must be vigilant, because you too might be a victim.

If you can imbibe these attitudes, you will definitely see yourself floating at the top instead of wallowing in the dip.

The list continues...
It is enlightening to know that there are still some of us who are keeping that optimism despite of everything that's been going on. Also, sharing it to others to encourage them is a noble act. I wish more of us think this way. We shouldn't entertain the negativities that are lurking around. They will do us no good.

Re: Will the price of Bitcoin hit 12 to 13k end of this year?
by
kendra1107
on 26/11/2018, 12:54:56 UTC
It is hard to predict price but bitcoin as a master can easy go to 12k buy end of this year. I am realistic and not romantic that where i see the price. What price you predict btc will be by end of year.
Tommy Lee originally predicted an ATH of $25000 for Bitcoin by end of 2018. But due to the extreme market condition wherein prices continuously drop, he had to cut that prediction to $15000. Still quite high if you'll think about it. I am optimistic with $10000 by EOY. I think this is actually more realistic and attainable. But I do hope I'm wrong and it goes much higher!

Re: Whose advice you take when it comes to Bitcoin?

I generally do not take anyone's advice, but I do consider them when making my decisions. It is always better to have some basis rather than just going in with gut feelings in my bag. So yeah, I do not ignore other's opinions coz many of them are still worth considering.

Re: How will bounties do without Bounty Hunters?
by
kendra1107
on 24/11/2018, 05:11:54 UTC
I have read many posts condemning the impatience of bounty hunters who sell off rewards as soon as it is received.
My question is, can bounties run and achieve success on their own without Hunters?

Not so well I'd say. There wouldn't be any bounties if there are no bounty hunters. And even if there were, how will it function? Bounties are like free advertisement. Of course projects reward us with tokens. But these have no value until they get listed. Also, these projects will spend millions of dollars if the were to advertise the traditional way. So, bounty hunters certainly play a vital role in promoting a project which increases the chance of success.

Re: Why is crypto making the world go crazy?
by
kendra1107
on 23/11/2018, 23:30:18 UTC
This is simple, the opportunity to earn huge with cryptocurrency investment has enticed a huge population across the globe. Yes the main or original purpose of cryptocurrency is to be an alternative form of payment. But this system has become more of an investment opportunity than a form of payment. And so the world has become so excited about the whole thing.

Re: BITCOIN DROPS TO $5,600. HOLD OR SELL?
by
kendra1107
on 23/11/2018, 22:56:45 UTC
As at yesterday, we all saw the value of Bitcoin depreciate to $5,600. what is your advise to BTC holders

should we sell of in order not to incur more loss?

or should we HODL with hope that the bull run is coming soon enough?
Buy and then hold! That's the most practical thing we can do during this condition. We all know that Bitcoin will rise again. It may not be this year, but it will eventually. And many "experts" have stated that Bitcoin will have a dramatic come back some time in 2019. We should lift up our spirits and be a bit more optimistic about this whole scenario.

Re: If BTC is not the best way to save money, What you think is the best ?
by
kendra1107
on 22/11/2018, 23:21:40 UTC

This post is based on the replies to my other post Its Bitcoin a good way to save money for our kids?

Lots of people say BTC is not a good way to save money, so what is for you a better option??

I want to know the best ways you see to save money for kids and WHY. Please don't add fiat...

Bitcoin is now considered as a form of investment on top of it being a form of payment. But I do not see it as a means of saving. If we wanna save money/fiat, opening a bank account is still the most practical means or we could also invest in gold and/silver since their value are far more stable than Bitcoin. Bitcoin has its own use and purpose, but savings is not one of them.

Re: The day I should have bought more!
by
kendra1107
on 22/11/2018, 23:01:06 UTC
We all were amazed on how the year started with a bang, when most of the coins have set a new all time high record last January. Now that almost all coins are going the other way around, maybe, most of us have said to ourselves, "I should have sold everything last January" but we're too late for that. I, too, felt bad how the market went this level. But, I wonder if there will come a time when I will say, "I should have bought more that time" referring today.
"Should have, would have, could have!" This is common to many of us! Haha! We usually hear or read these kind of reactions whenever prices change. I'd assume all of us have uttered these words in the past. As the saying goes, being sorry always comes in the end. Some say, buy during the dip/crash while prices are low! Others would say, then perfect time to buy is when prices are being pumped! Either way, the final decision will be made by each of us. So there is no one else to blame but ourselves.

Re: I lost when the coin price dropped
by
kendra1107
on 22/11/2018, 22:52:38 UTC
when all the coins go down, I lose a lot because I bought a lot of coins, what should I do so that I don't lose a lot, please give your input, friend?
Only the price dropped but your coin holding is the same. The quantity of your holding do not change along with the price. Meaning, you can still regain what you think you lost, or even gain much more if you will hold. Usually price and value tend to increase over time. At times it would take a while, but it will happen. Though, it wouldn't hurt to keep your fingers crossed...

Cryptomania? Haha! Anyways, I do not believe that Bitcoin, though dominating the market in terms of marketcap, totally dictates the fate of the entire crypto space. Even if Bitcoin does come to an end, I strongly believe that cryptocurrency will still survive.

Re: How to predict whales manipulation
by
kendra1107
on 20/11/2018, 23:03:24 UTC
Today again some whales came back on BTC ..
Does anyone have some suggestion to be alerted before this kind of manipulation ... I’m really fed up to see some big red or green candles without any reason ..
I’m always in or out when it arrives ...

You can't really predict what the market will do unless you are a whale yourself.  They tend to work together and have an inner circle so they can move the market in whatever direction they want.  It's why shorting or going long with leverage is very dangerous, you can easily get liquidated by a few candle wicks.
'Inner Circle' It's always a conspiracy. Secret organizations working together to manipulate anything and everything they want. The crypto market is no exemption. Some of you may know and relate to the terms 'Inner Circle' and 'Secret Society/Organization.' A common knowledge that we have gotten used to and ignore for generations. But this group is cookin' up something...and I doubt it will be anything good.
