They also say they will be releasing documentation for receiving to wallets as well so maybe its still being worked on, interesting that they say the gold will actually hit ALL exchanges but legally they don't have to give it to their users, and to move your btc to a wallet more so for safety of definitely getting it

quick question, with the upcoming fork, will i still get bitcoin gold if my btc is sitting on an exchange, or does it need to be in a downloaded wallet? i am seeing conflicting answers, i have been told by a friend they received their bitcoin cash to their bittrex.

the pricing going on at the moment is due to the upcoming gold fork

yeah me too longer term, i set a low buy order and it happened to come through a few days ago when all was down, cheering

long term yes, i am buying some now whilst it is low now and will see what happens over the space of 12 months

between now and oct25 is the right time to buy alts, hopefully they will go even lower than they are now

we may lose between now and then, but i believe after it will recover strongly

May i ask, if you hold your coins on an exchange, can you still get the forked coins, or must it be a downloaded wallet?

i have had mine drop, but it is because threads i wrote in got deleted.

frustrating as im trying to get to jr member, but have relaxed and am now taking my time with better quality posts, will get it in 6 weeks instead of 4 :lol:

Yes i think younger people should get involved as soon as they can - but i know people who bought in at close to 6k and it dropped to 4k shortly after - they still have the potential to lose alot - if they go all in, how are they supposed to survive if it doesnt keep climbing?

we have this in australia! very limited number of machines, 90% of them are buying btc only but there are a couple that you can cash btc out of, i think its fantastic very good for needing money in an emergency

this will be fantastic for everyone i believe, even with the volatility of btc you are only paying current price
