I had a bit of trouble being able to get my miners up and running mining this coin, but now have 3 out of my 5 mining machines mining successfully and still having some hiccups on the others trying to get ironed out.. I have total of 25 GPU's being a mix of 480s , a single 580, 290x's , 290s, and 390s.. haha yeah I know its quite the hodge podge of GPU's but they get the job done Smiley

Welcome!! Dont' forget to participate in the reddit.com/r/sumokoin group too - it is starting to grow now!

What OS are you mining with? I've found SGMiner via ethOS works but Claymore does not. Stak-XMR works great but as of now SUMO doesn't support worker IDs so your hash rate will be misreported unless you run a proxy.

I agree - I'm hoping that as more ETH miners point their rigs to Monero they will realize they are not going to be profitable long-term and will look for new , similar alternatives like SUMO and from there we see the price increase again.

the price didn't go down, the BTC price skyrocketed.

Before the skyrocket the Sumo price was ~$0.30 but just because BTC went to the moon doesn't mean SUMO is more valuable so it's price against BTC adjusted (lowered) to keep it at about the same rate of ~$0.30

I've composed a very polite email and sent to Bittrex pointing out the strength of the devs, their proven successes (hardfork) and the upcoming releases.

In a non-confrontational way - let them know you are already actively trading SUMO on Crypotopia and you would love to start trading on Bittrex too (let them know there are active traders, not just campers and holders)

Hopefully they see the recent activity on Cryptopia and realize the opportunity!

Yesterday Sumo was more profitable to mine with CPU than Monero! Today the difficulty problem has changed that even @ .00013BTC  Cry

Ridiculous money being poured into shitcoin ICOs (that are organized by "devs" with deep pockets, lengthy titles and pseudo-doctorates but little real-world experience in actual coding) are hurting alt-coins.... and rather than try to help the ecosystem, these "devs" just try to help themselves with get rick quick schemes. They care more about making their bio and LinkedIn look good for the next scam than they do the coin they are selling.

...but lets' criticize a coin where, instead of putting all their resources into flashy marketing to attract big investors and beg for money - is focused on organic growth through miners and early adapters. This coin has already been proven to have a reliable developers who aren't interested in dumping the pre-mine for a quick cash grab.

Yeah, that makes sense....  Roll Eyes  Undecided Huh

The hashrate on https://pool.sumokoin.com is still showing ~36KH/s but that can't be right... right?

That would mean the pool earns less than 500sumo a day but if you look at today's pool payouts they have distributed more than 4000sumo - how is that possible?

Damn, hash rate on the official pool is only around 40Kh/s and sumo.ms-pool.net is over 1.7Mh/s - is that gonna cause any issues with the HF?

I'm going to point all my XMR miners to the SUMO network through the weekend and see if we can get things kicking again

wallet & daemon updated and running smoothly - blockchain was ~8 days behind and updated in less than a minute.

Network hashrate @ 3Mh/s but sumopool is only at 4Kh/s, I'm guessing it is mostly solo miners that are currently active?

Installed and running my wallet and I'm CPU mining on a couple of machines using XMR-Stak-CPU to pool.sumokoin.com

I've pulled about 30 coins in the last 12 hours or so :-)
