Re: Will waves price touch $5 by the end of this 2018?
by

Waves recently launched apps for android users. This news has an impact on its price. Price already pumped more than 100% last 3 days. Do you think Waves will hit $5 within this December 2018? Please explain your opinion.

Quite a strange judgment. Maybe you have some inside information we don't know. I just don't think that's likely, based on my information. What do you know?

We'll see. Do you think after this bullish rally on Bitcoin, you will have time to jump into altcoins? I highly doubt that, so I would advise you not so much to risk, but it can and to trade.

Pretty scary area for any asset. The transition between the number of digits in the price is a psychological level. Imagine a bitcoin of 100,000. It is very difficult to take this limit, as well as to fall below 1,000

Re: who is responsible for the scam project

If you find this project on the forum and it was recommended by a person with a high reputation, he will be responsible for it. Of course he will not return money to all investors, but he will lose his reputation.

Re: When will end the hype of ICO ?

Every day more and more ICO collect money, and then disappear. Do you think we need sanctions for ICO?

You understand that large volumes and the hype around the ICO arose solely due to the growth of Bitcoin and Ethereum. People invested 1 Ethereum in the project, but in dollars it was 1,300$, although they bought it at all for 30$. Catch it?

Re: Buy and Hold 100 Cryptocurrencies for 5 Years – Official Thread
by
kethan
on 28/12/2018, 09:57:55 UTC
Hello Everyone,

I started an experiment on cryptocurrencies and I will be posting on this thread the updates.

As the title says the experiment consists of buying the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap and holding them for 5 years. I spent $1000 and bought $10 of each.

You can see the main article about the experiment from https://buyandhold100crypto.com/buy-and-hold-100-crypto-for-5-years-the-experiment/

The latest article was made yesterday, where after 10 days the gain on the initial investment was doubled Day 10

Feel free to suggest me anything

Thanks a lot

Risky idea. Many analysts believe that this area will last no more than 2 years , but you have decided to play a long-term investor. Let's see where it leads. I hope you get rich.

Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem)

EOS.IO is software that introduces a blockchain architecture designed to enable vertical and horizontal scaling of decentralized applications (the “EOS.IO Software”). This is achieved through an operating system-like construct upon which applications can be built. The software provides accounts, authentication, databases, asynchronous communication and the scheduling of applications across multiple CPU cores and/or clusters. The resulting technology is a blockchain architecture that has the potential to scale to millions of transactions per second, eliminates user fees and allows for quick and easy deployment of decentralized applications. For more information, please read the EOS.IO Technical White Paper.

I am in no way connected or affiliated with EOS or block.one. This has kind of become the thread for EOS on Bitcointalk, so I thought I would edit the OP with links and information. OP May 6, 2017:

It sounds like this is essentially Ethereum, but much more efficient seeing as though it has asynchronous processing of smart contracts.

He hasn't released many details yet, but I guess the details will come in after Coindesk's Consensus conference.

The most promising coin on the market, followed by millions. They have collected a lot of money for ICO, and this is about something and says. I think it will be the king of 2019. We wait and believe that all will become richer.

I was young and only recently started trading) so the result is quite obvious. Fortunately, by that time I had already increased my Deposit several times and was only looking for new assets to invest in.

I love bitcoin and I will always defend it,because It allowed us to participate in all this, and constant comparisons with other projects are meaningless, because they will never be able to do what Bitcoin did.

I generally have little fear, and some fluctuations in the market... Do you think that the man survived the fall from 20K to 3K might have something to scare you? Ridiculously. I think we're the strongest crypto generation.

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.

Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?

Your friends probably also are not very long in this area, as the true connoisseurs of cryptocurrencies, this would never say, especially at current prices. You will regret in the future, why not invest at such prices.

Which are the best competitors to Ethereum, and why do you think so?

(I know on top of my head that Cardano and IOTA try to challenge Ethereum,
although they still haven't proved much from my understanding?)

Now he competitors do not need. Think about it, when the project is in such a bad state, any aggressor from the outside can kill it and we all forget our favorite Ethereum.

It is possible that Ethereum will regain its leading position in the near future and overtake XRP in capitalization, but it needs 2 things. 1) the Recovery of the stock market. 2) Launch of a new coin mining system.

I very much hope that the crypto market will soon be able to restore its former position. Unfortunately, his condition now remains awful. But from next year we will be able to see a gradual improvement in the situation. Therefore, I now continue to hodl and buy reliable altcoins with good development potential.

Re: Scammers are lazy

I just wonder sometimes why hackers would not want to use their time and effort they spend to scam others on doing something meaningful and legit, to earn something worthwhile for themselves, except to rip others of their hard earned money.
Most times, what they even take illegally from others at the end is not used for anything meaningful.
Scammers should desist from this act, because karma is real.
Work and don't be lazy.

They just want to make a lot of money and at the same time perform an absolute minimum of action. I think it's okay, and really, if I wasn't so honest, I'd think about it, too.

For me, this is an indicator of the legitimacy of the company and its goals. If in 2018 the ICO does not require you to have a KIS, then you should think about whether this is a good project and could you stumble upon scammers.

In fact, there is indeed a steady drop in Ethereum prices. I also believe that the activity of the scam negatively affected the prices and the state of Ethereum. But I am sure that the problem will be solved over time due to market regulation and the gradual growth of crypto in the future.

Re: to many poor people?
by
kethan
on 20/12/2018, 08:58:26 UTC
Hello,

I recently returned to the world of crypto and noticed something wrong right away, I couldn't put my finger on it until now.

Poor people are ruining crypto. so many people just in the game to get rich and buy lambos, posting broken english or poorly translated post like " what coin x1000 this week, I need ferrari countach"

the forum is filled with these people trying to make pennies spamming shitcoins and scam ICO's

these people dont mine or invest in things they believe in but whatever they think will make them rich. Its like giving homeless people GPU's and telling them they print money.

I think this last correction was needed and many more to kill off a lot of shit coins and lame projects as well as get rid of these poor people in the game just trying to get rich.

"my 1070 only makes $2 a day now!" oh you poor baby! try mining years ago when 5$ a month was huge but didn't matter cause you believed in the project.

/rantover lol

People saw very easy money here, at the end of 2017, which is why their number exceeded tens of thousands, but when 2018 decided to cool them, they threw all the dirt on the sphere and said that we, crypto-enthusiasts, are to blame for all this.
