Re: BETCOINPOKER.AG is officially back! | 50% Rakeback | 200% First deposit bonus

It's 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. There are 3 Heads up games going on, the rest of the cash tables are empty. There are apparently 8236  "players" online. This number continues to go up in small increments. It NEVER EVER decreases. and then it RESTARTS starting at 7900. This is clearly a script running. (see it for yourself!) If you count the numbers registered in the free rolls it adds up anywhere between 1200-1400, less than 20% of the overall "players" logged in. Remember the cash tables are empty. Plus no body ever talks at any of the tables. Here's the cherry on top of all. This website is claiming to be giving away $1 million guaranteed every week in it's Sunday Million Encore tournament, this is the tournament everyone is trying to qualify for through multiple freerolls and satellites. I myself have been playing here for this sole reason until I realized the rest of the tables are empty. There is no way this place can afford to provide $1 million dollars in guaranteed prize money every week with zero players. This is a joke of a scam, betcoinpoker.ag should not be allowed to advertise this garbage on here.

Canadians: How are you turning your bitcoins into cash?
by

I have been generating bitcoins online for a while and I just begun using a currency exchange and directly depositing it into my bank account. However I've been reading horror stories about banks freezing / shutting down accounts they suspect are transferring bitcoin. Apparently the major banks (CIBC, BMO, SCOTIABANK, and TD) are all hostile. I'm with Scotiabank at the moment and I don't see why this is a problem. Before this, i used Paypal which is also a red flag. I just don't know what to do. Cash by mail is an option but always risky. How are you guys navigating this hurdle?

Not sure if I made myself clear enough. I'm the one selling my bitcoins for paypal.

Ok, so the question about paypal remains..what's the benefit for you? They're just a payment processing company. Or are you talking about eBay?

I also just found this thread on using Paypal, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=164254.0, and it's mostly reasons to be cautious.

The thread is old though. Paypal may still prohibit the exchange of currencies.

I don't understand your question. I am earning bitcoins online and the benefit would be to liquidate the bitcoins for real cash then deposit the cash into my bank account which I have connected to my pay pal account. Bitcoin is just crypto, its not real money.

What would you use paypal for in the purchase of bitcoin, particularly if you're not concerned about chargebacks? They're just going to charge you a fee and you've already stated you're not worried about the risk...so what do they offer?

I did a google search and can't find any opinion paypal has on Bitcoin...so maybe they don't care? They process payments. Ebay, however may have a specific stance on it.

I've bought bitcoin (casascius coins) from ebay but paid with a credit card...lower fees, no issues.

Here's a very recent article on ways to buy bitcoin via paypal: https://coinsutra.com/buy-bitcoins-using-paypal-working-options/

Hope this helps!

Quick Question about selling Bitcoin for Paypal

So i've been reading posts about PayPal limiting / banning accounts they suspect of having transactions involving bitcoin. (some how it's against their T.O.S) but some comments are also implying that the tide is turning recently and PayPal is becoming open to working with bitcoin.

Can someone please give me an update of where things stand regarding legality of liquidating Bitcoins for cash through PayPal? I have a few thousands of dollars that I would like to get converted. Once the money is on paypal, i will withdraw to my bank account. To be clear my concern is not with the trustfulness of exchange services or potential charge backs but with PayPal's own stance on this. Thanks
