Yup.

Hope you at least have one or two screws going from rig to wall.  If not, I'd suggest emptying out your recycle bin to make room for the rig.  The power supply balancing act won't last long....

anyone read this yet....

http://coinfire.cf/2014/09/29/butterfly-labs-testimony-reveals-deep-fraud/

it's that  faggot Josh's deposition and internal chats that BFL had about lying to customers and fraud.

I've met him in person multiple times and called him out on his actions, alongside doing the same on the forums here. In person he always dismissed it, and on the forums he replied with blackmail and slander.

Finally justice has met BFL!

Re: Ready to admit bitcoin is a failure?

When you have main-street adoption, like Newegg, Overstock, etc., you'll have a lot of coins being passed from business to exchanges.   I think this is why the price is going down steadily this year.  Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing people are spending their coins.  However, you have to expect businesses to move them to fiat as soon as they get them, which puts more coins on the market at market (or below) rates.  We're just not keeping coins between "us" anymore.

Answer may be, at least for me, is to buy back every Bitcoin you spent this year.  I'm getting gold at like 50% off, Gyft cards at 60% off.

Yay, more encouraged 'investors' inflating the price and ruining it for us that actually want to use our Bitcoins...

Exactly.  He bought 30k coins for what, ~$600 each?  He'll dump as soon (or if) BTC hits $1,200.
I don't think he realizes that these "pie in the sky" ridiculous forecasts actually makes the whole thing look like a pump 'n dump.

Re: My buddy is getting a divorce. Can the court seize half of his bitcoins?
by

Let's say, prior to a divorce, one spouse withdraws a large chunk of cash, goes to Vegas, and at the conclusion of the trip, declares that he lost all the cash gambling. In reality, he socks the cash away somewhere he can retrieve it discreetly after the divorce.

How do divorce lawyers deal with this scenario?  It's pretty obvious, so I'm sure there's a known or standard way to handle it. How would they distinguish it from a guy who genuinely loses the cash, saying, "I would rather gamble away all that money than let her have a dime of it!"

The bitcoin variant would be to quietly buy some btc for cash in Vegas, while playing a little to provide some cover for the purported losses. I'm sure this is all kinds of illegal and would result in serious penalties if caught, but then, how would the lawyers go about investigating this and proving it to the court's satisfaction?

Maybe he likes to take a crap whit the entire Tokyo looking at him?
That was a good one Smiley

I guess Karpeles can't leave Japan and still doesn't mind spending the Bitcoins he has while there is still an opportunity to.
Still classify him as a scammer just one that cannot get away from his venture.

LOL'd at the bathroom design.

Anyone else feel like one of the bitcoin losers? We hear a lot about all the winners, now including some 15 year old child, but very little on the currency's losers. I got swept up in the mania last November and dared to invest my life saving into purchasing 1 bitcoin, just as it was near peak. That turned out to be a terrible purchase for me as the value dropped since, so bitcoin has only ever lost me money. Anyone else in my boots? I'd still like more bitcoins but going on my past 6 months my confidence and trust in this new currency has been shattered.   Cry
Seriously, people like you shouldn't invest. EVER. IN ANYTHING.
You put money you really need in an asset that is highly speculative.
Now, you cry, because you are not a millionaire after 6 months.

6 months are nothing for an investment.

Exactly.  Life savings? Holy shit, man! Unless you're a teenager living at home, no one should invest their freaking life savings in anything!  Well, the eggs are all in one basket now, you really don't have any other option but to hold.  I would suggest selling as soon as you break-even, if you're lucky.

At 15 you can pretty much take whatever risks you want.  Taxes will be a bitch, though.  If I was him, I'd get tons of PR, build a viable company, then sell it ASAP.

The real money is selling your tiny business to a much larger one (Huffington Post, etc.)
