You just said the reasons why the governments wants to ban bitcoin. On their part, they won't understand what bitcoin really is and how it can help them but time will come that they will realize like those countries that adopted bitcoin on how its going to contribute their economy.

Bitcoin demand and supply is determined by the traders demanding it and the miners supplying it. It is not a death project and like all coins it don't just go up forever. It will definitely go up and come down.

Some people who don't know bitcoin have seen it fluctuate so much that they think it's just a ponzi scheme, but that's wrong.

Due to many negative news spread about bitcoin, big whales are manipulating the market and due to panic people are sold their bitcoins. These are the reasons that makes market goes to downtrend. Again and again the price goes down only. There is no sign of increase in price.  But some people are told within this month end the market will recover and the price starts to increase. Let's wait and see what the changes happen.

I believe that bitcoin is more suitable for long-term investments. Although this doesn`t mean that it is not profitable in the short term. So i can take the message from above to be real diversification means not everything in a portfolio should be crypto.

Next question should be if i want to add some Gold to a portfolio can I get it by exchanging crypto for it rather than using fiat?

People who are entering into trading to make money but with the current situation people should hold the coin instead of selling them for low price. Market is volatile situation which we cannot predict where the bitcoin and altcoin prices are going to be. So the only choice we have is to hold the coins
