Hi guys ! Today I talked to a guy about bitcoin mining. He told me that if you mine your PC will be worn out. But if I use an ASIC Miner will my PC be allright? Both devices will be worn-out or only the Miner? I'm new in Bitcoin business. Sorry if my question is stupid
Short answer, you can only mine with an ASCI and it won't mess up your computer.
This. Or ofc you cant take an alternate path and mine with an ASIC connected to a pi or something

Re: [Suspicious link removed]! A Bit[Suspicious link removed] Game!
Why should someone (not knowledgeable about bitcoin) should start spending hours and hours to learn about bitcoin's concept. Why should that someone start right now?
He will have to do it anyway. Bitcoin is going to be everywhere in a few years. So might as well spend that time now.
Yeah I agree, just that I'm kind sad that it's dropping so much right now

Re: New IRS rules for BTC as related to US Tax payers
Just an update on this thread the matter is in the hands of lawyers as Gmaxwell has chosen to not try to resolve the matter and also explain to us all why he been abusing other members on this forum with countless FAKE IDS etc.... The lawyer that has looked close at the matter and all the posts etc and the many fine examples of this MOD actions on this forum in these FAKE IDS that can be linked together quite clearly is looking froward to going this MOD and this forum...
Have a nice day this is the last time I will be making a comment re this matter as it NOW in the hands of lawyers and legal action is under way Against the MOD in question as well as a number of P2 users.
Also a tip to the others in this thread trying to justify the actions of the MOD in question YOU MAY WANT to do some research before posting any further on the matter as a friendly tip.... As it been all one way traffic from the MOD and the P2 users and has been for months on countless posts and the abuse threats of violence etc they have been throwing around at other members of this forum not only related to myself or the BAN pool. But also other pools and users and business etc....
Words can't describe how stupid this man is. 'nuff said

Re: [WARNING: SCAM] ☆★ River Boat Bitcoin Casino ★★ Robert Panzer ☆★ RiverBoatBTC
So this guy is going around threatening to dox random people in threads that has nothing to do with him. In fact, he already doxed KWH in public.
What's the deal with this troll?
Admins, why hasn't this guy been banned and all his posts deleted?
Seriously?
DOXING has been the norm for quite awhile now. The "person" you quoted has done the same thing to several members here and he always adds "extras". Posts rarely get deleted.
The corollary is that making Bitcoin worse can also kill it.
Very true, but in this case, what would be the "better" bitcoin? Guess we gotta wait.

It appears as if BTC is stabilizing somewhat. Really doubt that it's gonna hit 10k by the end of 2014

I prefer hardware mining. You know whats wrong if something fucks up.
Also, you get a warm feeling of actually being able to do something in life.

@oblivi
agreed, even if you do tend to use decentralized currency as money you rely on, as more countries begin to start accepting bitcoin as a currency, bitcoin prices are going to drop
