Hi,

A quick sanity check  "for solo mining" on a BTC 1 and BTC 2 (full nodes).

I have historically ran a full Bitcoin Core node "Windows Server" that I have used for transactions over the last 10 years

On the Apollo BTC 1/2 do I just enter the Bitcoin Core full node "Windows Server" receive address
in the Apollo BTC wallet address.

Sorry for the noob question but I'm just checking.

Hi,

I have just received a Apollo 2 BTC and have a quick question regarding solo mining.

When setting up Solo mining ... can you mine directly to a Hardware wallet receive address i.e. Tangem?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

I received a new Apollo 2 on Wednesday and it has finally finished syncing.

No matter what I do (start, stop, reboot, pool, solo) the miner sits at 0 h/s

I have checked ckpool and there is no hash rate being displayed.

I have download a fresh image (MC2) and setup with a new SDCard and still them same.

regards

Kim

This is bug in the ASIC hardware that reports larger than real error rate, it's a long known issue. Hashrate displayed + pool hashrate is all that matters and as you can see yours is within spec of balanced mode.

BTW dropping a stable release of Apollo OS 2 hopefully by tomorrow!

Hi,

Any update?

Hi,

I've just received a new Apollo BTC and everything is powered on and synced.

(Ethernet Cable / Port 8333 open)

However in ECO / Balanced mode the Hardware error rate doesn't fall below 20%?

Can anyone advise?  I've dropped a email to Apollo but I've heard nothing back.

Regards

Kim
