Re: If you had 10000$
by

If you had 10000$ where would you invest it?  I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and  now they are all gone, so should I only invest in  BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?

What's your initial investment currently? If it's below 500 then making 10x in 2 years is kind of impossible to say the least.

Also, yeah you can invest in NEO and ADA but avoid EOS as it's currently unstable at the moment.

Re: Invest only in active projects
by

on 08/01/2019, 23:37:16 UTC
You are right, active projects will stay long otherwise shit coins will die always! But before investing in crypto coins, everyone must check the coin's team and project activity, their community and also volume! I don't know why you called Pundix a dead coin! I just love to trade with Pundix coin! The coin is very profitable and the team is developing the products continuously!

It's better to see those shit coins die during bear markets.
That's what bear markets are there for. To weed out the unnecessary.

Pundix coin has a low trading volume so far. Even if you love using it, the overall volume makes it risky for a safe trading option.

wow backed by all of these firms? must be a good one  Cheesy

Backed by some known firms doesn't mean anything really. It's just that they are superficially vouched for an upfront price.
You should really take the OP seriously and with a grain of salt.

Re: STRONGHANDS MASTERNODE COIN
by

So what is new with this project? if I remember it correctly, this stronghand project was taken by some people to be revived again and then created this stronghand masternode coin.
after twist and turn, I did not see any improvement and development in this project. And even the thread starter already took another project to be revived again.

I guess this is another attempt of rehashing the old project in order to move forward and start anew.
If the devs are doing their jobs correctly this time, they might do it right. Will have to see how it works out.

Nowadays it's not at all easy to mine without incurring losses in other areas.
You can still mine if you have the cheapest electricity plan in your area but still the cost of maintaining the miners and their failure rate is enough to pose serious threat to your operation.

Crypto pump will not be that significant after BAKKT launch. That's just hyped out by some members here very much.
We won't notice any significant changes in pricing after it gets introduced.

Re: 51 percent attack on Ethereum Classic - $500K worth of ETC spent twice: How?
by

That's really unfortunate for them to deny such facts when clearly anyone can check that the double spent was done and was inevitable to reverse back.

Hope they make a quick fix to such solutions by bringing in more members and making it evenly decentralized.

Re: How do you see 2019 going for Bitcoin?
by
kingaltcoins
on 07/01/2019, 23:28:16 UTC

As of now we are not seen the major improvement in the value of bitcoin and other coins in the crypto market. But lot of investors and lovers of bitcoin are waiting for good days to come in the upcoming weeks of 2019 to enjoy the real profit and celebrate the huge demand and waited mobile which hits highest sale record. It will come back with some unique features.

This economic stall is mostly due to the fact that majority of bubble-centric investors stopped investing in Bitcoin for now. Some of them either sold them all and called it a day while others (the intelligent ones) are able to hold them for the next phase of bull run.

It's kind of a never-ending cycle of trading that is happening and will happen all the time.

Re: Why is ethereum on the rise??

Ethereum is finally catching the momentum and is growing in a slow and steady pace then ever before.
It's like the motherlode of all alts right now and the pinnacle of successors, after Bitcoin.

Also most of crypto enthusiasts are now getting to know its actual potential and how far it can go. This might overall put an impression on the gradual rise.

Re: next trend in blockchain/crypto??
by

Nowadays people are more or less concerned about privacy as well as traceability.
They would rather like to see such innovative approach implemented on new cryptos than same type circulating around with different names, rehashing the code again and again with old stuffs.

Also there will be more trends similar to CryptoKitties popping up on various platforms (Dapps) and might continue thriving just like CK.

Re: the true crypto alternative to government money
by

Stablecoins alone doesn't make the market. Its Bitcoin that makes or breaks the crypto market afterall. Without Bitcoin, stablecoins wouldn't exist in the first place.
On the contrary they doesn't directly compete with FIAT, instead they fill the void of BTC/USD pared trades all over the cryptosystem.

Every traders in 2011 had a mindset to that of an infant. LOL!

Since they didn't have any idea of the actual potential, they brewed up their own concoction without any base. And now they are regretting. Similarly wait for Jamie Dimon's hope to get crushed in 2020-2022 in a similar way. These nocoiners will never learn from their past mistakes. Roll Eyes

Those are exaggerated speculations backed up by nothing but emotions.
If you look at the pricing back then, the recurrent downfall was called for and was known by many. Its just that some smart traders knew about it and therefore took measures while the others missed the train. Tongue

Won't have high hopes for it this time.

With that, my predictions would be as follows:

1st Quarter - $ 3052 (~)
2nd Quarter - $ 4600
3rd Quarter - $ 5200
4th Quarter - $ 4800

It would ballpark in that range I guess.

Re: what affects the price?
by
kingaltcoins
on 29/04/2018, 21:44:17 UTC
The 3 main driving force behind such price fluctuations are mainly due to:

1. CME Groups entering the crude market.
2. CBOE playing around in this unregulated space.
3. Increase in hedging by the whales (also known as market manipulators)

There's nothing really we can do about preventing it now. We either have to ride the wave by taking advantage of the sieve curves or get rekt eventually.

Re: Bitcoin dominance dropping hard
by
kingaltcoins
on 01/01/2018, 23:34:24 UTC
Dominance isn't always proportional to market cap directly. It is by no means concrete, as bitcoin's interest has dipped in times of stress before. The question now, however, is what make of such downtrend.

The thing is, at the beginning of every year, the dominance percentage downtrends. Its nothing to worry about.

What surprised me was the number of nodes @BTC versus ETH (for example). Ethereum has 4 times more nodes than Bitcoin.
Near term BTC will struggle given the high transaction fee.

Number of nodes doesn't qualify the reason behind this downtrend. Bitcoin will obviously have lesser nodes than other cryptos since it has the largest blockchain of all time and selective few wants to run full node.

I don't believe that if BTC will plunge massive, then the entire crypto market will go extinct. There is too much money and people who needs cryptos.

Bitcoin is the backbone of all cryptocurrencies. It won't fall ever.

I have some information to add here. I traded with SREEMANNARAYANA REDDY SYKAM, aka Sykam Ramakrishna Reddy, aka Bitcoin-India long time back and here's the instance;

The trade volume was 2 lakhs. Luckily, I used LBC and he couldn't scam me there. Here are some of his details if that might help you further:

1. His profile on LBC: https://localbitcoins.com/p/Bitcoin-India

2. His contact number where he mostly remains active during LBC trades: +918680009649

3. His LinkedIn profile profile: https://in.linkedin.com/in/sykamsreemannarayanareddy (Someone archive this link for future reference. Seems like LinkedIn doesn't allow web archives.)

4. His twitter profile: https://twitter.com/ActorSykam (Archived version: http://archive.is/FbZY1)

5. His Facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/sykamramakrishna.reddy.3  https://www.facebook.com/Bitcoin.India.Org  https://www.facebook.com/SYKAMGarage  https://www.facebook.com/SykamConsultancyServices  https://www.facebook.com/Sykam-Masthan-Reddy-Knowledge-City-1695710240676395  https://www.facebook.com/SykamRamakrishnaReddyPolitician (and many more... not listing them all to prevent cluttering)  (Archived version: http://archive.is/qcIlF)

6. Finally his pictures:

These scoundrels need to be publicly shamed! These are the species whose action implies a bad impact to the community.

To all those who got scammed: Prosecute this guy to the fullest extent of the law.

Re: Lightning Network vs Bitcoin cash
by
kingaltcoins
on 20/12/2017, 21:35:05 UTC
I'm a small blocker, but mining is the aspect of bitcoin that was designed to decentralize.  It requires work to do so people can't just mine for free.  It requires investment for your vote to count.  This is why we mine.

So if miners control the network, then bitcoin is working as designed.

Absolute bullshit. Miners will never be given full power let alone be having an option to choose block sizes. Bitmain has already been caught doing some shady shits in the past before the bcash split ... Go figure the terms: ASICBOOST and ANTBLEED scandals.

Sorry to burst your bubble but that's not gonna happen in Bitcoin. Miners will never be given any extra privilege. Move your miners to Btrash if you have to and we won't miss you.

You clearly got brainwashed by the false agenda with that video.
If you know the Big-O complexity algorithm, it's clear that Bitcoin is not scalable, because it follows the O(n2) curve.
Thus, Bitcoin needs to scale in the same way the internet does, with additional protocol layers like lightning networks and sidechains.

I would recommend you to learn how complexities work before making conclusions based off of fake agendas. Also watch this instead: https://youtu.be/AecPrwqjbGw
