Re: When an ALT gets listed on exchange how is the price determined?
by
kingdomofhearts
on 07/09/2018, 17:03:22 UTC
I think that ICO team do benchmark of their project and set the first price. Then the trades start and the market makes the price due to demand and sell offer.

When they benchmark, they need a standard or something to look at right? Then what if their project is completely unique or the system is nothing like any of the ones in the market? How will they determine its value?

Re: What coins are worth buying NOW
by

I think that now it is best to buy bitcoin and Ethereum as the best coins on the market.

Based on observations, a lot of people are treating Etherium as a shitcoin right now. Especially now that it seems to have already been having a hard time going up in market value.

Hey guys, when did you first bought bitcoin or ether? Did someone bought bitcoin when it was 20k$? Wink When did you first heard about crypto?

I didn't buy during the time that it was at its ATH. Who in their right mind would do that anyway? You buy when the market is down. Anyway, the first time I bought btc, it was of course a red market. After sometime, it went up in value. That was also my very first earning. Made about $170 of profit.

ETH fail 2018?!
What do you think guys ,can we see again price $ 10 ?

That's stupd. There's no way that the price of ETH will go back to ancient market value. That's way too impossible even for a prediction. We all know the value of eth way exceeds that and there is this thing we can treshold. It won't go beyond that. Although I believe ETH will continue to go down in price

Re: Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet?
by

on 07/09/2018, 16:44:46 UTC
Hi everyone, I found a service announcement of new wallet platform few days ago in our forum.
Their introduction and vision stated in the post seems to be great and it also attracts me a lot.
However, I still wonder whether I can trust that new wallet.
Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet or they can never stole any coin because they just provide wallet service only?

Please help me if you have experience in this field. Thank you.
This is the link to the wallet that I mentioned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4582763.msg41338130#msg41338130

For sure it is possible. Especially those people who are giving away their keys. That's why you have to be very very careful in giving out your information, especially from "Free" stuff.

Re: Are altcoins better than bicoins right now?

With the price of bitcoin continuously going down, do you think that altcoins could be better right now than bitcoins? I trust that bitcoin prices will still rise perhaps next year, but with the price still going down, maybe altcoins have a better chance. What do you guys think?

Altcoins are not exactly better than bitcoin. Because if you will think of it, there is nothing better than bitcoin right now. In all aspects, bitcoin exceeds all other coins, especially those which are new in the market.

Re: ***** When I was a newbie bounty hunter.

Investing in an ICO is not always between the ICO and your money, sometimes it just takes effort and time.
Yeah, Participants in bounty are not just workers, they can also be called as investors.
they are working for the ICO for advertisements for the success of ICO sales.

as a newbie, i sold my tokens too early. this made my profit just 10% of the real amount.

You can never be able to predict whether or not the tokens or the underlying project in it, will be successful or not. I've seen a lot of tokens that went from $20 down to $.5 or something.

How long time will take the markets go high ? What are your ideas about market cycle ?

This market getting worse day by day so what should I do for it? Should I wait for more time?

There's no specific time frame when exactly market goes up or down. If there is, then everyone would have predicted that already and market would have been messed up already. So what you should do is do some research and try to figure out what can happen to the market, based on your own belief.

Re: ETH is now hot topic - Whats wrong with it?
by
kingdomofhearts
on 24/08/2018, 02:27:19 UTC
As we can see that the market of ETH is again becoming the weak one and there is no way it is even trying to come up with the prices of 300+ and they should have been 500 USD per coin by this time and thats why it is hopeless to see it trading at such low rates.

I wish to see some comments from the people as to why this situation is getting harder for the ETH specifically and why it is not in the recovery mode yet?

Is ETH becoming project which will be overcome by any other projects out there?

I think there are some other major factors aside from negative news coming out. I'm starting to wonder if there are also manipulators like major or whale investors in ETH who can dump the price significantly.

Re: Paying Bounty With TOKEN or ETH which will be better?
by
kingdomofhearts
on 24/08/2018, 01:43:53 UTC
It is not impossible for bounty hunters to be paid in other currencies like BTC and ETH. There are sections on here you can get such jobs and they are open to select ranks. But I feel this not feasible for most ICOs to do considering the number of bounty participants they get and it will not encourage the circulation of their tokens

Wrong. If you're talking about whether they can or cannot pay through BTC/ETH, they definitely CAN. It is possible. However, I think it's more of an issue of liquidity. Plus, if you think about it, why would they even pay someone through the money that they got from raising fund right? It would be very beneficial to just issue tokens rather than pay with btc/eth.

Re: Will China ACTUALLY ban ICO’s?
by
kingdomofhearts
on 24/08/2018, 01:40:31 UTC
Hello everybody!

Even though China has banned ICO’s, Chinese residents continue to participate and register money where it is actually legal. So do you think the “ban” is forever or are they going to drop the bans initially?

There was a lot of possibility and it can be changed anytime. I don't wanna say a lot about that but the only important thing for you and you must see what has already happened with korea. Whether hos they will be trying to ban ico but korea has been thiking to legalized the ico on its country.

I wouldn't dare to say completely banning ICO. Because I believe there are some people within the government of China who is looking at the benefits that blockchain technology or ICO can give China. So if ever they would ban it, I believe it would be temporary.

Re: Is there a possibility that ether will reach to 19K USD in the near future?

One thing came to my mind and that is the possibility that ethereum could be next to bitcoin?
Next to bitcoin? as listed in CMC and other lists ETH is listed as the second coin that has the highest market cap so it's already next to bitcoin in terms of market cap.

Yes there's a possibility but bitcoin needs to be at $100,000+ for this to happen.

I think that the market value of etherium reaching 19k usd is quite impossible. Maybe in the next 10 to 20 years but soon? No way. There's just too big of a jump for that to happen. Even the bitcoin reaching 20k usd is just a humongous pump and was not there for long.

Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed?
by
kingdomofhearts
on 23/08/2018, 07:22:32 UTC
Bounty Managers are not part of the Project Team, that's what I know. I think they are like us, being paid off our rewards once the project is finished. Once the project failed or turned out SCAM we don't get our rewards and the campaign managers don't get theirs too! In the first place, we are not experts (managers included) to detect and/or if an ICO Project is a scam. The manager job is supervision, us is the promotion of the project. Just my 2 cents.

I guess you're right. The blame should all be on the team that manages the whole project. However, I think it is also possible for bounty managers to be the ones that cause the scam.

It is a good idea, if you invest in ICO but high risk, but profit when ICO success is large, I am also investing in BUDDY project, it is great when it succeeds

If you're investing only in ICO's then your risk profile is very high. You should at least have one stable coin that you add in your portfolio. Probably at least two of the top 5 crypto in the market.

I spend two to four hours on bounty and this is because I do a whole lot of stuffs.

Wow that's quite a lot of time spent here in crypto. Or probably that's normal and I'm spending too little time here. Honestly, these past few days I've been having a hard time doing other things because of being too preoccuppied by work. I wish I could just go fulltime in bounty hunting.

On the history of bitcoin movement, we can say that we are preparing to see a big increase by the end of the year  Grin

I hope you're right about this trend dude. However, things can always go the other direction and we have no basis for that pump yet. So I think we will be better off not to assume things or probably just don't expect too much.

Re: what if altcoin or bitcoin crash?
by

What if altcoin/btc crash? Are there possible ways to get our money back?

This is a no-brainer question. How can you recover your money if it's already gone? People will not be crazy about investing in crypto if they don't have any risk at all to lose their money. Come to think of it, the very reason why crypto is very rewarding is because it is also very risky.

Re: Punishment for ICO scams!
by
kingdomofhearts

I think no ico scammer has been brought to justice uptil now but many cointries are busy in setting rules and regulations where only legit ones will be allowed to raise funds and the scammers will be caught and punished.

How can they be caught and even more so, be punished when there is not a single body directly overseeing the cryptocurrency? This is one of the dangers of decentralization and free market.

Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency
by
kingdomofhearts
on 12/08/2018, 12:44:37 UTC
I have been trading crypto-currencies for almost a year now, investing, participating in bounty companies and building my own mining farm.
I wonder how many more girls are in this forum?
Or who of the guys is teaching his girlfriends and wives to invest and trade in crypto-currencies? It is very interesting to me!
my wife and I are here to look for news about crypto. and my wife also invested in crypto. I am very happy when I see my wife willing to invest in a promising crypto.
it's been almost a year me with my wife investing in crypto ..
that's my story.

That is very nice to hear. If you can make your story here in cryptocurrency be published in many platforms, it would, even just a little bit, encourage people who are getting depressed or desperate in crypto.
