Sir, if you are a small scale farmer then why dont give a try to mining crypto like MASS. It only need storage space, no power and special mining equipment required.

Proof of Capacity (PoC) is an amazing consensus algorithm. MASS is just project that is harnessing its power there are many other in the list.
PoC lets you use your storage device to do mining in the network, there is no expensive mining devices nor electricity required. Even people can use there ordinary laptops to mine this currency. bitcoin mining is very much saturated and there are other ways available. All we need is look around.



Thanks for sharing this. Its based on Proof of capacity algorithm not on Proof of work, this is all I get to know after reading this thread. Can you give me some convincing arguments like @philipma1957 gave in support of mining with cheap electricity.

I have a testimony.
One day, I was hungry and had nothing to eat. I went to bed that day starving. The flying spaghetti monster came to me. He told me that I needn't worry for my hunger. He told me to have faith in him. "I will cease your hunger if you have faith in me."
I said, "But FSM! What will I do? I have no pasta, I have no sauce or meatballs! O great one, how will I make you?"
"My dearest, close your eyes."
I had no doubt in him. When I closed my eyes, I woke up; note that NOTHING was in my fridge, I had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to make spaghetti. I smelled spaghetti; and I opened my eyes to see a nice bowl of my mother's spaghetti right next to me.
Mama said; "Hey baby! I seen you had nothing, so I made you some nice home cooked spaghetti!"
I never seen such a big miracle in my life that day. FSM restored me with his great spaghettiness! Have faith in him, do not doubt him as I hadn't; R'amen!!!

That's correct. Thank you for sharing this. Our Lord FSM is in DNA of each of us, it us who are away from it. our message is spreading fast and we are hopeful very soon people will know about FSM.

It's good to see new coins adopting different consensus algorithm. There is huge room for improvement in current PoW and PoS. I personally don't think PoW can take crypto to mainstream. Sooner or later we have to need new.
