Blah, KnC just redid their web site.  Anyone find a new static URL with the firmware images and stuff on it?  I think I've got the last release stashed somewhere but not sure.   :-(

I guess it's pretty clear now we're not getting our 'bonus miners' - is there any way we can collectively force a response from KnC on this promise using the Swedish/EU laws?

The Neptune in my opinion at least - is a pretty good miner and seems really solid - but I was promised to be made good by KnC for the delay and price drop to keep me from asking for a refund, and I've got nothing from them.  If at least they'd say 'just kidding' we'd stop waiting for the extra boxes and not keep the space/power supplies needed for them free.

To be 'fair' in my opinion at least - we should be given an extended cloud mining contract for 6-10TH to make up for the lost time, but I don't have any illusions about the generosity of KnC.

Any interest in KNC Neptune/Titan Mounting Brackets?

We've made some mounting brackets to vent the cubes outside directly - they are made to mount to a plywood or foam barrier.  They aren't cheap to punch out - but if there is enough interest they are affordable enough.  If there's enough interest they end up being $100 USD for a set of five if we have enough folks to make an order - I use to vent the cube outside when it's warm since it's cheaper to cool ambient air than the 40C+ air these blast out.  PM or reply if interested.  No rants about how much you hate KnC please - this is for those of us stuck with hardware.   Wink

Awesome, long as the price is reasonable I would definitely want to order some as well.  I think a lot of us still have powered hubs and fans from the Block Eruptor days gathering dust anyway.   Wink

Are you really listing one for sale?  There's lots of philosophical questions on this board in regard to prices.  :-P

2-3 months projected returns per bitclockers would be reasonable to me.   $7.5k -> $13k US sounds fair.  I'm a business guy new to bitcoins, but I see a bunch of new, better, systems on the horizon making overpaying for something like this seem a really bad idea.  We've all got preorders waiting out there for gear as good or better than this for less, so it's value is going to drop a lot as they catch up with the backlog.

List that sucker under auctions and we'll tell you how much it's worth by the time it's over.  Smiley

Mostly interested in learning from folks who know what they are doing - I ended up getting pulled into mining by my kid and ended up getting more into it than he is.  It's probably a sad comment on what I've got going on otherwise, but I think this stuff is fun.   Grin

And if I can make a couple of bucks at it too - that doesn't hurt one bit.   Smiley
