Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back)
by

on 29/06/2018, 15:09:31 UTC
Dear Panic Sellers,

If the news about Google Ads and Facebook, as well as bubble-bursting warnings from "respectable" institutions such as universities, economists, banks, opinion makers, investors and governments have convinced you to sell your coins,

If you let yourself be influenced by the messages and actions from these corporations and governments,

You have not understood a single thing about Satoshi's libertarian dream of decentralization and liberty and cannot cope with the responsibility that comes with these liberties. You were only hoping for some quick profit to sell for fiat... Now that you're losing dollars, you are crying all the way... well... to the bank.

I hope you got out completely and never will return, because I am convinced you are as big a threat to Satoshi's dream as the corporations and law-makers that convinced you to panic sell.

PS: To my fellow believers: HODL.  Smiley

There are pros and cons for the panick sellers being here. Yes they drive the price down so the upside is they make people buy cheap. They also drive prices of alt coins down so traders can also buy alt coins at low prices. So bigger chance for profit. I think it is better that they are taught and also make them read what they are investing in

Re: At least waiting for good and not waiting for nothing!

I am positive that it will be a good thing to wait compare to wait for nothing because bitcoin holdings has been sell out already. Somehow waiting turns out like a positive value that will motivate us in the process at least waiting for good. What is the problem with that if in the end you will get huge profit? You will say that bitcoin is dead? Well bitcoin has died many times so i have no time to believe on it instead i am excited to wait what are the possibilities ahead in the next few months.

This is true. Waiting for something is better than waiting for nothing. No matter how small or if you don't get anything back. It is still better if you tried than regretting not trying at all. Money you can get back. Time and experience can't be bought

Re: Is this the right time to buy Bitcoin? Give me your suggestion

Now that bitcoin and ethereum prices are falling, is this a good time to buy Bitcoin? do you have a predicted bitcoin price going back up?

I'm not sure about bitcoin yet, but I'm sure with Ethereum.
give me an opinion about bitcoin.
Your suggestion is highly appreciated. Thank you

It is impossible to know if prices will go up or down. Just do not put all your investment in bitcoin if you are having doubts. You can buy and maybe luck out in a few months or you could pass and luck out if prices go down more.

Re: Is 2018 the most crucial year for bitcoin?
by

on 27/06/2018, 16:03:44 UTC
Bitcoin exceeded $ 10,000 in 2017. What's going to happen to Bitcoin in the coming year?

I think bitcoin got hit because of its rise during end ot 2017. Big people noticed and want in in the action so they want to invest but needs bitcoin to be cheap. So news and other stuff brings bitcoin price down so they can buy cheap again. And then regulations threaten bitcoin also because it is gaining popularity

Collapse definition: Market Cap less than 150 Billion

Yes or No

I say YES

I didn’t want to say yes but there is not much light in the tunnel.

It may go below 150 Billion but i am i believer in crypto. And i believe that it will bounce back and will go past the all time high. It will take time and more adoption but it will get there.

Re: Why is crypto making the world go crazy?
by
kinzey
on 22/06/2018, 17:00:30 UTC
why people are crazy for crypto ,they leaving their job, they selling their house , selling their property?

It's because of the insane gains of crypto over the years. Particularly bitcoin, bitcoin's rose to fame drove the price up by more than a thousand times since it started. So people think that entering crypto could change their life, their financial status to be exact.

Re: Will ICO die in 2018?
by
kinzey
on 22/06/2018, 16:49:25 UTC
Disclaimer: The text below is a personal opinion of the author. If you have a different opinion, please share it

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.

What is more, you can get tokens for testing KickCity beta. You can get reward for testing this platform https://kickcity.io/event/5a9d11030cf2cac8e081f3e8

Maybe not, but ICO's will decrease when regulations will kick start. Those that are willing to undergo paperworks for govt and other things will stay, definitely the scam ICO's will decrease significantly.

Re: Is there any fast and easy money here in cryptocurrency?
by

on 22/06/2018, 15:40:39 UTC
I was just so curios since i am new also with cryptocurrency and i wonder as i read too many threads about getting good rewards from bounty campaigns like signature campaigns that receive BTC weekly or monthly and as i checked bitcoin market price today relatively so expensive. Many are great these are with the accordance basing on what i have read. Well maybe those people are fraud as i had began to join this system i dont feel there is great in it like getting a good reward instead i feel that this is just like a work that you need to perform in order for you to gain. Is there any fast and easy money here in cryptocurrency?

Depends on what fast is for you. Bounties for me is the easiest way to earn bitcoin but tye time frame varies. In may take weeks to months for the campaign to end and the pay also depends. But that is the easiest way. If you want fast you need to  invest and be lucky enough and do trading. Because if you luck out you can double or triple your investment in a day.

Re: What factors scare others from investing into bitcoin?
by
kinzey
on 20/06/2018, 14:43:28 UTC
Bitcoin has come a long way and come really come to stay. As a matter of fact, anytime some people who know nothing about bitcoin are introduce to bitcoin about how bitcoin works, they channel all their attention to whoever is passing the information to them by listening attentively. However, after developing the interest in bitcoin, they quickly revert their interest in bitcoin the moment they hear of the volatile nature of bitcoin, thereby, deciding not to invest into it anymore. Guys, what are some other factors that scare people from investing into bitcoin?

People tend to doubt things that they don't see or be held in front of them. Also people doubt things that are new to them. Specially the people that are not used to the internet. The newer generations are more open to new things. Just my opinion and i am 40+ already. Smiley

Re: Cryptocurrency could help your business or not?
by
kinzey
on 19/06/2018, 13:48:16 UTC
I was doing some research online and I stumbled on this kind of news. https://news.bitcoin.com/since-embracing-bitcoin-robinhood-app-value-jumps-to-5-6-billion/

The article said that robinhood app after embracing cryptocurrency have its value jumped to 6 billion dollars after embracing bitcoin. This is a good sign that more and more people are engaging into bitcoin. If more business will enter into the world of cryptocurrency and will bring back the original purpose of cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange rather than just and object of income and a trading item then surely we could revolutionized the world of finance and economy.

With robinhood as an example do you think there will be more business online that will boom and will not go bankrupt due to cryptocurrency?

I guess its hard to determine such facts base on one example so let us wait for the future to unveil itself.

I think it depends on what kind of business you are in. Online businesses can take advantage of bitcoin but other than that it is just for payments and such. I am not bringing down bitcoin. We are believers of bitcoin but not everything can take advantage of blockchain tech or bitcoin.

Re: Crypto VS national currency
by

on 18/06/2018, 16:16:38 UTC
I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try  to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency."
how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national  money?
I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.

I do not think that crypto can replace national money. Majority of people may be using cryptocurrencies in the future but national money will still be the main currency for everybody. Everybody may recieve payment digitally but fiat will still be the main currency.

Re: Why aren't cryptocurrencies successful as a medium of payment
by
kinzey
on 15/06/2018, 23:28:01 UTC
The global economy is nearly 80 trillion USD per year.  Payments using any type of cryptocurrency as a medium of payment is a tiny fraction of this total.

What are some of the reasons preventing cryptocurrency from being more successful as a medium of payment?

I think mainly because cryptocurrency is new, the awareness of how cryptos work to the public is still unknown to most people. People probably heard about bitcoin but how it works and how it could change our future is still unknown to them. I think the govt should or another agencies and we the crypto community should raise awareness on the possibilities of cryptocurrencies and educate more people on the uses.

Re: The best time to take profit in Trading
by
kinzey
on 15/06/2018, 18:46:11 UTC
Cryptocurrency Trading is fun and captivating especially when you are always up with profit no matter the situation of the market, of course who wouldn't be happy when you are successful in what you do?
In many situations we are confronted with the choices of should I exit the market now or should I stay, and swiftly as this may be decision need to be made fast to be able to keep up with a moving trade. For day traders avoid exiting the market when the chart is already down especially if you are not at profit, it is better to take profit when you are comfortably at profit even though the market is still green and wait for a next dip than waiting till market has gone against you and you are struggling with cutting off more loss.

Im day trading for quite a while now but honestly it's hard to do it when you cant stick to your strategy. I try to play safe and keep my trading a certain percentage and close it to keep my self from getting greedy and ended up ruining everything. I keep track of basic indicators to know if it's overbought and oversold, so i have reference to know when to sell or not, check buy and sell depth amongst other things.

Re: Trading by technical analysis or just intuition?

on 14/06/2018, 23:52:12 UTC
In such a bearish market, are you making your trading moves by technical analysis or just follow your heart and believe some coin will start to bounce back hardly or something else?

I'd say do both. Basic TA for entry and exit points can be useful specially in bear market, FA for some hope that other people might pick up same coins with news or upcoming announcements. Always try to book profits in this cycle as we dont know which is the bottom.

Re: Is still Ok to invest in Etherium

Hi guys,

I was trying to invest around 5K in Etherium. The price at the moment is around 1.2K and as it looks it is still growing. You think is it a good time to invest ?

Ethereum just got cleared by SEC that it's not a security token. It will be a good time to buy now, the price now is half the price as of your posting. It will definitely grow. For now, ethereum is still second next to bitcoin.

Re: This market is unhealthy!

You can say what you like but markets go down when there is no confidence!
If it crashes big time the media will make cryptos look worse than they already have!
Such is life!

This has happened a lot of times and crypto always bounce back and ceates ATH. I think this is a good time to invest though, when almost all coins are beaten up and no one wants to be in it. Once crypto finish the bear cycle, people will start to fomo again and buy at the top. So better buy now while it's cheap and wait for bull run.

Re: Hardware wallet vs Software wallet
by
kinzey
on 13/06/2018, 23:36:43 UTC
Surfing on the bitcointalk forum, I sometimes see some threads discussing about hacking of wallets and the discussion is geared towards the best wallets to secure individuals from hackers. Hardware wallets are normally mentioned. I decided to find out about hardware wallets and my searches made me know that, wallets which are normally hacked are of software base. I found out that some viruses which attack computers are able to steal private keys from the software wallets that we normally use. The issue of virus attacking a computer makes the use of hardware wallet very advantageous over software wallet since the hardware wallet are immune against viruses, hence viruses cannot steal from such wallets. My question is what are some of the hardware wallets and how can one get a hardware wallet?
I just a little bit understand about your question.
There are some hardware wallet
1 Trezor
2 Nano ledger
3 Created your own hardware wallet through used USB (someone has posted how to do this)

If you are interesting to get hardware wallet and you can try to go to
1 https://trezor.io/ (if you are interested to buy trezor) it has a better security compared with nano
2 https://www.ledgerwallet.com/ (If you are interested to buy nano) it was focusing to support various coins.

Honestly, i'm trezor user and i never have any problem with it. But in my experience use software wallet is safe too as long as you can keep your desktop clean from the malware anytime.

I agree, I also use trezor and never had a problem with it. But eitherway, both nano and trezor are good investments if you are looking for long term.

Bitcoin is a crypto currency, all currencies make upward and downward trends from time to time. Bitcoin is and other Crypto currencies are taking over the world economy. See every dip as an opportunity to buy more.
Invest now and smile at moon

For the believers of bitcoin hope is always with us. We are always hoping for a brighter future for bitcoin as tgis is one of our main income generators. And hopefully in the future our investment can grow and help us be free.

Re: How to know which coins are good?
by
kinzey
on 08/06/2018, 23:52:14 UTC
Lots of coins are coming in every month. But I can't know which coin will good in future,  Always I face problem with my confusion. So, is there anyway to know which coins are good?

Thank You

Yeah, too many coins and it gets confusing which ones to follow. Just always do research, the team, community, the project, and always have good people you follow or have healthy discussion with so you have atleast these people to discuss about certain coins, as it is really hard to do it on your own. But always , always do the last say and not really depend on others, just make others view as reference.
