I am just so tired of all these coins not realizing that they only completed the first step...
I have come to realize any coin not actively seeking some sort of real world use for the technology is probably and definitely a scam.
Alot of DEVs respond with, "I don't want someone controlling interest in the coin or path of our technology". Which absolutely makes no sense, as implementations would be 100% separate from anything coin related etc.. and could easily fund future endeavors or development without giving away ANY controlling stakes..

It is already moved to altcoin discussion. Looking to invest in coins that have a real world implementation in play. And only those coins.
As far as I know, the only ones with real world use cases right now are bitcoin(because it can be used as a store of value in crypto space and is widely accepted as payment), ethereum(for smart contracts), monero(for more anonymity), ripple(used by some banks), and doge(even if it is a joke, it can be used to give people a tip and is widely accepted in online gambling sites, some payment processors also accept it as payment).This helps, there has to be more, but this points me in the right direction. I always loved Monero.

I am super tired of seeing new coins every hour, and the ones from last year still don't even have implementation other than wallets and nodes.

What's going on with the coin? The project is alive? I've been watching the coin for a while, I liked the project. This is the problem with all coins on yescrypt - not enough buyers.
problem is, all cpu minable only coins also get run over by botnets. mining is not feasible for a person with 2-3 cpus vs botnet owners.
This isn't true for WAVI at all so far.
With my 3 CPUs I've created enough WAVI in 2 months to make 2 master nodes, and am well on my way to a 3rd.
That says nothing about the fact that cpu coins tend to be mined heavily by botnets. This coin is young and the difficulty is still low. Think about 2 years in the future: those 3 cpus you have will still be proportionately small compared to even a small botnet's hashrate.
It's probably the number 1 problem cpu-only coins face.
It's not a problem... it's a feature. Some people lease hardware that includes power consumption and bandwidth, and even replacement parts. What better way to get some ROI on idle paid infrastructure than CPU coins... it's literally one of the flagship use cases for these types of coins...
Albeit some of them are legitimate malware botnets, but there's no way for anyone to determine the validity of that statement. Regardless, it's speculation - at best. Could just be some IT guys that are responsible for several cages across the world... wondering what to do with their idle money during non peak hours and seasonal usage...

Appears to have gotten somewhat better. It's not "automatic" despite what the footer is claiming.
My pool name isn't pulled from any sort of API (note the missing space), and I don't think that hash rate is either.
Either way, it's been somewhat updated!

This was super cool, and I was going to port it into the Matrix screen saver or something for w/ wolf miner (XMG), but this source code is no longer available :|
I can't seem to find a stratum server that supports m7m. I have found all sorts of "HOW-TOs" for all other bits of currency, but none for m7m algo's.
NOMP, uNOMP, node-stratum, none of those packages appear to have m7m support. It can be added in... just doesnt include it.
I know MinerClaim is using MPOS, and must have an m7m capable stratum server to operate the pool. This must be the "paid setup" that MPOS discusses on their project page.
So... to my knowledge there are no open source pool solutions for CoinMagi.
Someone, please prove me wrong, or guide me in the right direction. The closest I have come to is cryptonight, with XMR and cryptonote-pool or something on GitHub. Also didn't support m7m.
