Hi Claymore,

Can you add new event in EthereumManager - about rejected shares.
Not sure if it could be managed by user - to target specific ratio accepted/rejected, to put some limit, etc.
Or at least to be preset by you - rejected shares as % of the accepted.

The point is to get notification that a GPU is not working properly for some reason (pool, clock, whatever).
So that a proper action could be taken.

I hope you understand my desire.
In case that this is already possible in the remote manager - sorry for bothering. But please point how to do it.

Thanks
KVV

I meant no difference regarding Ethash.
Honestly, didn't still have time to check Equihash results, but I guess it should be like Dovaogedys already pointed.

First results are in for GTX 1070Ti:
Stock @ 465 sol/s
Stock @ 26,6 MH/s

Clocked @ 515 sol/s and Power consumption is arround 190W.
Clocked @ 32,0MH/s

Model tested: GV-N107TGAMING-8GD
https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N107TGAMING-8GD#kf

Comparing with GTX 1070:
Stock @ 440 sol/s
Stock @ 26,5 MH/s

Clocked @ 465 sol/s and Power consumption is arround 150W.
Clocked @ 31,8 MH/s

Model tested: GV-N1070G1 GAMING-8GD
https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1070G1-GAMING-8GD-rev-20#kf

Have a good day Smiley

Confirmed... Disappointing results, let's hope miners could be optimised... Cause at the moment it seems there is no difference between 16 and 19 compute units...

Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v10.2
by
kirilvvbg
on 02/10/2017, 20:38:40 UTC
New 10.2 is not good for all cards, it seems...

Just tested on my old Pitcairn R7 370 2GB
On v9.7 - 490-495 h/s
With new 10.2:
- if I start directly default -dmem tries 2.5+ GB of memory - obviously it doesn't work and miner gets stuck
- if I disable -dmem (-dmem 0), the best I can do is -h 832, but in this cases the h/s are only 475-480 (btw, Claymore - GPU0 must stay at -h 480, otherwise it crashes; but still gets these 480 h/s).
So it's not an improvement, but the opposite...

Unfortunately, good features and info of v10.2 cannot not be used... I'm sticking with 9.7...

I think I am not a newbie account, and for the second time I will declare that the drivers are good and working (for me on 570 and 580).

About the hashrate - see the picture of one of my rigs (6x RX 580 8 Red devil): average is constantly improving ad at the moment is even higher then the reported!!! (never seen this before)

Robinh00d - thank you very much, appreciate it. There is still hope for the community...

Claymore 9.7 also works.

About higher power consumption - all folks that are reporting it: please check it "at the wall" with wattmeter. AB is showing higher digits, but at the wall there is no change. So my conclusion is that this is caused by new beta AB.

Unfortunately for me, I didn't manage to make the driver work on WIN8.1, I was able to do it only on WIN10.

Hasherates are up, for sure: Sapphire 570/4 was 27.9 now is 30.0.

@Claymore - very grateful for improvements in EthManager. The last version is almost perfect for me.
I would like to make a suggestion - if it's possible and doable. Can you some how add in the 'Events' new one - for incorrect share (due to too much overclocking)? Maybe in some of the updates to come?

I am not even sure why this happen, but sometimes some rig starts to give way too much incorrect shares. And after a PC restart - all goes back to normal.

Am I the only one having problems with incorrect shares?!

Hello All.
I was able to get 6 x RX-500 series running on windows 10 x64. After two days the stupidest thing I tried worked  Grin.
1. use DDU to clean the PC from any previous drivers.
2. Disable 4G decoding so you can log into windows (only  for Z170,H170, etc.)
3. Extract older driver for RX 400 series in Drive C: (I use 16.9.2 )
4. Extract driver for RX 500 series in Drive C: (I use 17.4.3)
5. Copy and replace all content from "C:\AMD\Non-WHQL-Win10-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-16.9.2-Sep21\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF\B307117"  to "C:\AMD\WHQL-Win7-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-17.4.3-Apr17\Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF\B313057" (Basically you copy the old driver over the new)
6. Install the VGA cards manually from Device manager in Windows pointing path to the new driver 17.4.3 in this case.
7. Reboot and enable 4G Decoding in Bios
8. Enjoy if it works for you.

You can try with different driver versions if they work for you. I`m happy whit the 16.9.2 for the moment but any driver that works whit 6 and more RX 400 series GPUs should work  Grin.

I know  that this solution sound stupid but it`s tested on 8 different rigs whit Asus Prime Z270-P and H270 Motherboards and works like a charm.
I`m pretty sure only handful of files need to be replaced but I don have the time to test more elegant solution.

Sorry for my English and grammar. Grin

Anybody tried this on windows 8.1 x64?
I do the same replacement of driver files, but there is no compatible model for RX570...

Remote management: read-only only, command miner_restart ignored.
Where is the problem? Claymore?

Yeah Fury needs to be on older drivers...if you have newer ones, then I think V10 is the best, with 395 sol/s.  Nice speed increase for 390s and 280x, although after fees its pretty similar to optiminer.  Should we expect another update soon ?  I have some trouble to get optimum speeds with tongas, optiminer gets better results at 225-230 sol/s so far.  Maybe i'm missing something.

Yeah I did not concentrate on tonga cards.
I can reach 430H/s on stock 390X. Or I can try to add Pascal coin to dual miner, or improve CryptoNight miner. Need to select.

CryptoNight it should be - less power consumption (more will use it), stable price (constant revenues), long time since last improvement...
