If someone wants to buy enough to try and make some money, that's up to them, but it's not the original intent of the device.

I'm still fairly new to crypto, so please excuse me if my questions seem a little noobish, but my main concern is for people like me who don't have DeezNuts in the first place. The idea of having DeezNuts is just a little overwhelming to me, to say the least, but from what I've read, it should be easy for me to obtain and use DeezNuts right? Could you maybe provide some extra documentation for people like me so that we can use DeezNuts to their full potential as much as possible?

Got the two I ordered from asicpuppy today! I just finished getting them set up under Linux. I honestly thought I might have a hard time and would have to move over to my windows machine, but that definitely wasn't the case here! I've currently got them plugged into an old HP workstation. They both work great at stock voltage and 600mhz. I'm getting 3.4MH/s and 3.3 MH/s totaling just under 7Mh/s mining DigiByte. I don't want to try overclocking until I get the powered hub I ordered which should be here next week.

So while I did get these two, the two I ordered from holybitcoin have yet to be shipped. The order is still showing up as processing. Has anyone else received theirs from holybitcoin?

Whoa. I forgot that I had a machine mining pretty much non-stop the last few weeks.

I generated some paper wallets and handed off a few thousand edollars to friends and family. Trying to help spread the word! 

Ended up having my cousin place the order for me, as I was still having problems with the payment site timing out. But, she was able to get the order in, so I've got a couple extra units coming!

Now I need to look into USB hubs. I've got an old netbook gathering dust and I believe it should be able to run these, but I don't think the onboard ports could provide enough power.

I just tried to order a couple from asicpuppy, and I keep getting gateway timeout when it tries to send me to the payment processor. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I don't see any place in the order to change payment options. I'll email, of course, but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Still haven't received any notification from holybitcoin about my order, but it still says processing, so I'm hoping for the best. I'm also very excited to receive the order. I'm still brand new to mining and cryptocurrency and can't wait to play around with these!

Definitely sticking around to see how things go. This is probably the only coin I've mined this much, mostly because of my crappy old hardware.

Ordered a couple from Holybitcoin, and while I see the order as processing in my account on the site, I never received an email. Just wanted to see if this was the norm before I bothered them with an email.

As someone who is fairly new to all of this, I actually thought the order process was pretty straightforward, even with them only accepting coins as payment. The only coins I had were dogecoins though, so I had to pay a bit extra to have flyp.me convert them to dash. But overall it was pretty easy.

Yes. Just be sure to save the seed and other important infos somewhere safe!

I'd be happy for anything newer than my old 6870

pool.electronicdollar.org seems to be about 30-45 minutes behind. I don't know what would cause this, but it does eventually catch up and start paying out. Just have to give it some more time.

Also verifying that pool.electronicdollar.org stopped paying out a while ago...

Guess I'll open some Christmas presents and check back later! 

I'm just getting started with mining and have been spending the last couple of weeks reading up, playing around with different miners, mining different coins and just trying to get a feel for everything. Up until now I've been CPU mining with an old pair of xeon L5420s and a 560ti which has been ok, but I'd like to see if I can do any better, and might have a chance today. I've got $120 to my name and want to buy one of these cards, but I just can't figure out which one, or if maybe there's another one out there that would be best at this price point.

A co-worker is selling off his R7 370 4GB for $90 which he's admitted to using it for mining before in a rig.

Alternately, I can get an RX 460 4GB for $110 brand new.

I've been trying to crunch the numbers in my head but just need a little help. So far, I'm leaning more towards the 460 even though (according to what I've read) it might hash about 1-4 less than the 370. But I really can't decide.

I know I could save up for something else later on, but part of me is curious to see what kind of results I can get in this range right now, and I kind of want to use my old card in another machine for some light gaming.

As for the computer, it's from an old parted server that I got from work for free that's been sitting unused for a while, and has been my experimentation machine for mining with some pretty decent results. I'd probably look at picking up a newer motherboard, processor and some memory next, but for now I'm ok using it.

Brand new to mining. Decided to try my hand at mining BWK, so I may or may not know what I'm doing properly...


Looks like BWK disappeared from the pool. Is this because not a lot of people were mining it in your pool?
